Received 3 calls from these guys from 559-328-2353 at my office claiming to be some kind of Official US Branch of Govt. Anyways I called them to see what this was all about, and they couldn't get their names straight, So I asked for their address and the guy just hangs up. Its a SCAM of some kind for sure so don't fall for it.

    So glad everyone has posted! Got message from Leslie Owens....Serious legal action to be taken against me by the Department of the treasury.  Her number is 909-999-6412. Tried calling back before I found this post. Number no longer good.  Thanks for the peace of mind everyone.

    I got similar calls yesterday July 12, 2016 and today July 13, 2016.  New numbers are 434- 381-1163 and 202 622-5000.  On the 434 call they even had the gall to have a computerize voice recording pretending to be an officer Nicky Johnson, batch nbr 1165 threaten me with legal action if I did not respond.  Those jive turkeys mess with the wrong senior citizen.

      Just got a call from 434-381-1163 today...robo caller.  9165 re: tax fraud.  When I called it, you could hear all these Indian or Pakistani people chatting in the background...when it picked up, it was like he pressed the answer button out of reflex, and continued his conversation with someone next to him, in a foreign language I didn't understand.  this went on for about 30 seconds until he said "Helo? Helo? Helo?"  and then it disconnected.  Gonna call them back and make fun of them!

    Today , july 13th 2016 , I received a call from those crooks. Firstly they pretented to be from the "department of legal afairs" , the guy said his name was Kevin Petersen , and he was with IRS .
    I knew that IRS never calls , when I started to put questions he hung up . The number was : 202-370-6626, is from DC area , I think is a computer generated number . I asked myself if they can be stopped or someone is enjoying the situation ...

    July 14, 2016....  I have been getting these calls at my work and home.  All calls are recorded saying they are from the US Treasurery Dept. saying that there has been a fraud against my name.  The call doesn't even say WHO they are trying to reach.  The recording does not leave a name, only the number of 434-381-1163.  The calls come in saying Anoymous is calling.  I NEVER call back or answer any call that says anoymous.  This is a scam.  The government or IRS will NEVER call you.  They will contact you through the US mail.

    I have been getting these calls on my cell phone.  Today is July 14, 2016.  2 different numbers associated with this IRS Legal Dept. Scam.   +434-381-1163  and the other day it was from  +202-622-5000.  I call them back and the calls immediately drop after it rings 3 times.  The "202" number the other day was a man claiming to be a Dominic Rebella from the IRS Legal Dept..  I already know the IRS would not make these kinds of calls.

    They hit me up the other day with 2402524606 and I finally put a block on them now I get another one today with 4343811163 .must be nice not to have to really work and sit behind a phone scamming other people's money.

    Been getting harassing calls all day from 434-381-1163  threating to put me in jail for 7years if I do not pay right now for a IRS.  The guy said he is officer Johnny Smith at the beginning of the call and at the end he said his name is officer James Smith.  Demanded me not to tell anyone about this and to go to the bank and get a loan and tell the bank its for unpaid household bills or unpaid medical bills.  Not to tell the bank it's for IRS.  FISHING ME.  I'M NOT STUPID

    I just got one too asking for my attorney to call. It was a message. Strong male accent. Deleted the message. So ridiculous.

    I just got a call from a number similar to others from NY. Said it was Kevin Cooper and essentially the same message. It seemed like a scam so I checked it and what do you know lol. It's almost as bad as the porn scam telling you that you're getting arrested for what your watching lmao

    Just got a call from Steve Fernandez with a heavy Indian accent. Said he was from Legal Affairs, Dept of Treasury,  phone 360 209 7905. To Call Back ASAP or retain an Atty. Yeah right, how many Indian citizens have the last name Fernandez..no sorry I was not born last night buddy

    Ya the same thing just happened too me a man with a heavy Indian accent said if I did call him there would be a big legal mess so I would need to get an attorney.So I called the number back and no answer I even had someone hang up on me

    I got a call from 716.902.6393 - I didn't answer I was at work. Let a voice message - said his name was Vic Jones and he was from  dept of legal affairs and I should call him - before it was to late.   This number called me and said they were from the dept of legal affairs - number he called from was 716-902-6393 but said to have my lawyer call back at 646.403.4193. He had a very thick accent and said his name was Vic Jones.

      I just received a voicemail from the same # 716-902-6393 & the same name Vick Jones, stating the same information & that my attorney needs to contact them immediately ect ect. When I googled the number this site came up so I thought I would post my experience but also Google said 7169 was an area code from India? Thank you to whoever started this site! I hope no one falls for these filthy, no good scammers.

      Thanks so much for the post I just got the call from a David Miller from this exact number with a strong accent. I called back and of course had the same opportunity like the rest of you to listen to the [***]. I just can't understand what are they getting at for this to make sense for them ?
