Received 3 calls from these guys from 559-328-2353 at my office claiming to be some kind of Official US Branch of Govt. Anyways I called them to see what this was all about, and they couldn't get their names straight, So I asked for their address and the guy just hangs up. Its a SCAM of some kind for sure so don't fall for it.

    Just received 2 calls today one at 1206 pm and another at 1239 pm, The caller at 1206 said she was an agent at the Legal Affairs  US Treasury and that fraud action in my name was being done on my Taxes from 2004 to 2010 she said her name is Nicki Johnson and her badge #9165 and I need to call 202 846 9020 ASAP! The 1239 pm caller said her name was Susan Dukes and her badge # IRN9165 her phone # 202 750 3439 and she gave the same message as the first caller, now 202 is the area  code for Washington DC so they are getting better but I know that the IRS does not call you they send notice by certified mail so I knew it was a scam!

    Received call from Leslie Owens, Dept of Legal Affairs with US Treasury about enforcement action against me.  Told to have my lawyer call 508-861-4121

    "Hi, this is Leslie Owens with the Department of Legal Affairs, and I was trying to reach you in regards to a very important issue. This is a verbal notification for you in regards to the enforcement actions that have been started against your name. My number is 508-861-4121. If for any reasons you are busy to call back I would suggest you to have your legal attorney to do it for you as delaying calling us might end up into a legal mess for you. I  hope you will take this right and call me right back. This is Leslie Owens looking forward to speaking to you until then have a blessed day."

    I also received a robocall from the IRS at 412-452-5057 about impending legal action against me

    got a message from some guy saying he is from the us treasury  but he is an officer . it makes me laugh he sounded like a computer and has the nerve to say God bless at the end. it's a scam. number that called me is 716-902-6393.

      So did I today off my Google hangouts number they said the exact same thing an when I called the number it rang once an hangs up

    Any time anyone gets a phone call from any division/department of the United States Treasury  it is a scam. As a former employee of the United States Treasury you will always be contacted via certified mail and will never ask for money over the phone. Please go oto the link below and report this. Also if the scammers are very forceful state you ill go in to your local office and handle it in person. https://www.treasury.gov/services/report-fwa/Pages/ReportFWA.aspx
    Make sure you get as much information about the scammers as you can :name, location  supposedly calling from, department name and a badge numbers.

    I just received a call from the Department of Legal Affairs stating that I had to call back asap before fraud charges were brought against me.  The person that called was a female and did not have an accent.  When I called back, the person that answered the phone had an Indian accent and answered that he was with the Department of Legal Affairs.  I told him to cease and desist the phone calls and that I had reported him to the Feds.  The number is (702) 718-0154.

    These people keep calling me. it has been about 3 months now. they call from all different number telling me the cops will be at my door or work place in 30 minutes. They never ask for money. I used to question them and they would hang up. Now I just want to see if they will ask for money. They haven't so far. I guess because I sound like it don't believe them and am waiting for them to ask.
    The number that called me today was 266-747-1339 that is disconnected when I called it back.
    I've also have gotten calls from the same people (I believe because the heavy Indian accent) saying I have gotten a grant for $5000 by the government and I just need to call some number with the confirmation code.
    I wish they would lose my number!!! I can barely understand them and they are aggravating the hell out of me.

    Got a call from 202 769 5271... I told this man he should be arrested.. His reply was if you can catch me Motherfu*ker...lol told him to pull towel off his head n go hang himself with it

      I got the same thing same number telling me that the IRS had opened a claim against me and they would advise me to take care of it as soon as possible or wait to see everything unravel something like that I kept trying to call back but nobody answers the phone got through one time and it sounds like Asian woman heavy accent I am mediately investigated by putting the number on Google and I got all these messages I see is a scam

    Just received a call from Leslie Owens this morning. You could tell by her voice and the way she "read" the message she was not legit. Said she was from Department of Legal Affairs. Call came from NY. I did not answer at all. All calls show up on our TV and if I don't recognize the number I do not answer. When she started talking I knew she was fake. SCAM

    Received this call on 8-4-16 the guy said he was the chief of the department of legal affairs and he said his name was chief hernandez that he hope i would take this matter seriously and that he suggest that i have a retainer attorney before they start the process on my name for irs issues the number he called from was 347-796-4398 deep voice middle eastern accent sounded like he was reading off of a sheet of paper dont fall for this scam i hope they catch these [***] and throw away the key.

From legal dept at irs he said i got sue by irs he number 12027549727 case no cf97427 how come irs arrest this man making false call to people txas payer his he realy officer. For irs legal dept and why the fbi look ftom him he make people scare
