In December we purchased a Husky power washer 1750, Since that time it was used exactly 4 times. It does not work, the on off swith does not work, the GFCI plug does not work.

I have made many attempts via E-Mail to contact this company ,and keep getting answers back from someone named Kyle One e- mail asks me if the fan is turning, another asks me to disconnect the hose then try it. Nothing resolving my problems.

The last E mail I received to day stated the following:" Dear Customer, Thank you for contacting us. i am sorry for the inconvenience with the unit and i hope for the best in the future Please feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions. Sincerely, Kyle

To me this is not a response to fix a problem of a basically new machine. My advise stick with Sears, at least they back up their products.

Wow.. I feel for you guys.. We got to use ours once.. We bought it in the Summer of 2007.. Used it to redo our back & front decks... Stored it the way it was suppose to be stored.. Never got a chance to use it last year.. Went to start it back up now.. and we have no pressure at all...

I called that 800 number listed a few posts back.. waited over 30 minutes.. 3 times.. only to have someone pick up and tell me they don't handle the gas models.. They couldn't even tell me the name of the company they were giving me the phone number for.. Now that's pathetic...

I called the other number... 866-340-3912.... waited only 20 minutes this time... Was told I had to take it to the nearest authourized dealer... Then I was told it's no longer covered under the warraty...  I asked them if they were serious.. I used this thing once and now it doesn't work.. Basically I was told in a nice way it wasn't there problem....

Now that's customer service for you... what happened to standing behind your product....  Needless to say.. HUSKY is off my list of products to buy in the future...

    Michael,
I think that there is a design flaw in the design of the 2000s  manifold. The  plug that is inserted into the unused port is not properly designed. The upper dia. of the plug is to small allowing the O ring to blow out the side of the plug causing a leak and loss of high pressure. I have gone thru 3 manifolds and have encountered the exact same problem each time. My solution was to tap the manifold port tube with a 1/2-20 tap and insert an allen screw of that size which I purchased from Ace hardware(90 cents). Home Depot didn't have any. Use a bottom tap if you have one. A regular tap works but you only get about three good threads. Apply a little caulk to the threads

I purchased a 1750psi Husky and used it twice, nobody will stand behind this product.  All they tell me is "I am sorry it stopped working".  It was purchased at Home Depot in Mt. Home, AR, no help from them nor Husky dealership.  Home Depot is off my list for purchasing anything and I will never buy a Husky again.

I bought a Husky Hydro surge last year from Home Depot. The plastic clip on the handle that holds one of the hoses broke.  This should be a metal part, not plastic. After reading the disappointing experiences others are having ordering parts from Husky, and realizing a plastic part will likely break again, I am not going to even bother.  Just going to junk the washer and never buy a Husky product again.  Home Depot, suggest you stop selling this product if you care about the integrity of your Brand.

I purchased the Jusky HU80931 just over two years ago.  I had no problems until a week ago when I pulled it out for the first time this year.  I filled it with gas and it started right away.  The issue is with pressure (or lack thereof).  I have tried unsuccessfully to contact Husky via telephone, email and chat.  I am frustrated because I spent almost $300 dollars for this machine and I can't get any assistance.

    I'm hoping Shannon can assist!

    Thanks,
    Ryan

I purchased a hydro surge HU80220A and used it twice when the water started spewing from everywhere.  Where can I get the o-rings I presume are bad.  This has been the worst experience I have ever ad with a pressure washer.  The last one I had I got in 1989.  It still worked but I could not pull the cord anymore so I tried ths electric.  By what a difference.

I have the Husky 2000s.  Was given to me as gift for Christmas 2008.  Since then both times have tried to use it, within 15 minutes lost high pressure and water leaking out the bottom.  After first time last October the company shipped back to them and supposedly fixed.  When got back was cold out, so unable to try right away.  Now warm out and on vacation and had time to do my powerwashing, surprise, same thing happens again!!!  So much for them fixing and testing to make sure it works.  What a piece of garbage.  You would think they would figure out how to make right so they don't have to keep paying to ship these products.  It does work somewhat on medium power but waste a lot of water.   Has anyone ever heard of the EZ jet water cannon?  you just attach to end of hose, honestly am thinking of trying that.   Have looki around to see if better brand electrical power washer and all the reviews of any of them are bad, so skeptical buying from anyone.

I have the Husky 2200 psi HU 80931. It has the Briggs & Stratton 500 Series 158cc engine. I have had NO problems with pressure when trying to clean. MY problem is that once the washer is started & I start cleaning, the engine shuts off. The pressure is fine, I just can't keep the engine running. I have replaced the spark plug & air filter, it has new, clean gas & plenty of oil. Any suggestions?

I am just another frustrated HD customer who bought the Husky 1800 PSI power washer.  It worked for a while and then started giving me trouble.  THe GFCI connector does not work at all. It heats and within five minutes of operation and then shuts down.  It takes an hour or more to start again and that is also not always.

HD customer support:  What do you suggest I do? I tried calling Husky directly by can not get through to a live customer support.

Can I return it back and buy a Honda ? So much for buying American products.
