In December we purchased a Husky power washer 1750, Since that time it was used exactly 4 times. It does not work, the on off swith does not work, the GFCI plug does not work.

I have made many attempts via E-Mail to contact this company ,and keep getting answers back from someone named Kyle One e- mail asks me if the fan is turning, another asks me to disconnect the hose then try it. Nothing resolving my problems.

The last E mail I received to day stated the following:" Dear Customer, Thank you for contacting us. i am sorry for the inconvenience with the unit and i hope for the best in the future Please feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions. Sincerely, Kyle

To me this is not a response to fix a problem of a basically new machine. My advise stick with Sears, at least they back up their products.

I bought a Husky 200S in August 2008 and it failed after using it two times.  I returned the unit to Husky after Home Depot wouldn't allow an exchange or my money back in July 2009.  When I received the unit back from repair it lasted about two times before it again broke.  Husky sent me new parts which I replaced again and it lasted about two times and it just failed.  I'm now going to ask for a full refund or I'm taking them to small claims court which will only cost me about $35.00 to file.  This unit is not engineered correctly.

Yet Another One Bites the  Dust (Mark)
I wish I had found these complaints before I bought my HU80722. I have had it for a year, in that year I probably used it 2 or 3 times. Went to use it  yesterday and I will be damn, heard an odd noise as it started and now I have no pressure. What a piece of junk. I am on board, will never purchase a Husy of any kind again.

Anyone know where you can get a replacment pump and how much they are?

Better yet any one want to buy a slightly used power washer, with a great engine, runs great...  Make me an offer....

I have read similar complaints that the power washer power doesn't go on.  Last year I sent the washer back for repair and it worked only once since then. This spring the unit would not start.  Getting frustrated with this unit since I only used it less than ten hours since its purchase two years ago.

I tried to send a message about the power washer that again doesn't start. The first message that I just sent apparently did not go thru. There apparently is another validation code so I shall try once again

My husky Washer Model HU80722 is broken after 3 times using it. It seem to be the pump which cost almost as much as the washer. I can't beleive a company can't back they washer with a better warranty.

I was so excited to finally be able to use my power washer; I had wanted one for a long time.  After purchasing the Husky HU80709 from Home Depot last July, I had to have surgery which prevented me from using until this spring.  Now I have had several people try to help me start it, and after reading many posts online about this pressure washer, I feel like I have thrown over $300 down the drain of my hard-earned money.  I do not want to put any more money in a piece of junk.  ...very disappointing, and I see this product still listed on the Home Depot website.

I have a two year old model 1650 with a cracked manifold. Maximum 8 hours on unit. Ordered parts May 6 and should have been shipped in 5 days. Inquired on May 20 and was promised shipping on May 26. Inquired May 28 and was told part was on back order and would be shipped in two weeks. When I asked if this was definite I was told they would be receiving the part July 15 and apologized for any inconvenience. I cancelled the order and am hoping they will credit my MC. My advice -- Do NOT purchase Husky products if you want service and or reliability. Has anyone had experience with a reliable electric power washer from another manufacturer?

    BUYERS BEWARE!

    Home Depot Purchase - 3-18-2010

Rec'd PowerWasher 1700 PSI as a gift and the product was running well for 30 minutes, let it rest for 5 minutes to move chairs on my patio and then went back to fire it up and got NOTHING. Went through all troubleshooting steps and stil nothing, the4 product was dead!

Must say it was concerning to open the product and observe 4-5 differnet tags requesting that you not return the product to place of purchase???

Will try to exchane at Hope Depot and look for other options.

I bought a Husky power washer from home depot also and the same exact thing happen. I used it one time just to try it out and then when I went to use it to clean the patio the water started  spraying out of the sides of the wand. I didn't have any pressure anymore and the click and clean thing on the wand wouldn't click. Home Depot owns Husky power washers. It is very apparent that they are very aware their product is crap. They obviously know that they all have the same problem, yet they keep selling them with out correcting the problem, so they are straight out defrauding people. I took mine back and wanted to exchange it. I told them I didn't have the receipt, but I didn't a refund, I wanted to exchange it and they said I couldn't because I didn't  have a receipt. I told them I only used it one time and they said sorry the company wouldn't let them send it back with out a receipt. I didn't know they were the company. I don't want to echange it now receipt or no receipt, it's fraud. They don't sell any other kind of pressure washer to exchange it for. I am going to call Michael Finney Channel 7 on your side. No one pays that kind of money to use a pressure washer one time.

I purchased a Husky Power Washer Model# HU80833 at Home Depot.  The pump is completly shot.  I agree with other posts, the Honda motor is awesome but the pump parts attached to it are cheap.  There is no pressure from the machine.  The emergency valve has to engage to release pressure.  I even removed the pressure hose to see if that was the issue...nothing.  I saw several customer service email addresses, I wrote all of them to see if one of them could help.  We'll see.  I'll just keep taking it back to Home Depot...it's like a lease program.

I did get a response from Daniel at Home Depot regarding my email.  He put me in touch with Home-Lite(maker of the Husky gas powered machines)customer service.

If we get this fixed, I will be a happy guy...well, until something else happens (fingers crossed).
