In December we purchased a Husky power washer 1750, Since that time it was used exactly 4 times. It does not work, the on off swith does not work, the GFCI plug does not work.

I have made many attempts via E-Mail to contact this company ,and keep getting answers back from someone named Kyle One e- mail asks me if the fan is turning, another asks me to disconnect the hose then try it. Nothing resolving my problems.

The last E mail I received to day stated the following:" Dear Customer, Thank you for contacting us. i am sorry for the inconvenience with the unit and i hope for the best in the future Please feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions. Sincerely, Kyle

To me this is not a response to fix a problem of a basically new machine. My advise stick with Sears, at least they back up their products.

You mean you actually got an e-mail address from Husky ?

Thats like finding Santa Claus in Florida in July with that company. They build cheap products and don't back it up. They make you buy a brand new wand for $ 35.00 when its a design flaw on their part that is caused by a 2 cent O-Ring.

Avoid this company at all costs !!!!!

Home depot sells all different size o rings for .99 I  buy a pack for the hose and wand and tie them to the machine so they don't get lost and know what they are for plumbing dept.

I received a gift certificate from Home Depot because I spent a lot of money on a large project in my house.  So when I got the certificate I didn't know what to buy & thought it'd be cool to have a washer in case I needed it in the future.  I bought it in June & didn't have any use for it till now in November 2008.  I pressure washed my 25' boat & it worked beautifully until the last 5' when it lost a bout half of it's pressure.  I noticed the motor now leaks water & sure that's the reason for losing pressure.  I doubt I could get it fixed at Husky or get my money back at Home Depot. They both stink.  Maybe I could bathe my dog with it since it will only tickle him.  Remember nothing's free since I had to get the certificate by spending thousand of dollars & don't buy this product it broke on the first day after cleaning an area only 20' x 8'.

I bought a Husky Power washer 2 years ago for my husband's birthday. We have used it 3 times, he has replaced a spark plug just yesterday when it wouldn't start and after we tried to start it again there is oil on the new spark plug which suggests there is a leak somewhere in the engine. I expect a piece of machinery for $300 to last for more than 3 uses

I have had same issue with leaking wand. I tried to find new o rings but can't get correct size or expensive to buy with shipping. I own  Husky PSI 1800 pressure washer. How can I get replacement o rings to make sure that it is issue not the wand.  I bought the product based on Husky name. Hope you can resolve for me. Can you send me replacement o rings?Very frustrated. Thanks

I bought a Husky 1,800psi powerwasher and have used it a total of 3 times.  The first time I used the power wand it worked great, the second time the high pressure wand broke (I contacted Husky, they told me I would have to buy the whole wand, $35.00 f___king $$$$), the third time I had to use the other adjustable detergent wand and it broke 10 minutes after using.  I took it apart and found a broken "O" ring. Then I tried to find a contact Phone number for Husky and the only way was through the emails above.  All I could reach was there stupid email help line.  I want a real person and I want some satisfaction. Their product is total crap!!!!!

I purchased a Husky 2600 Power Washer last year and used it for about a total of 4 hours. I tried to use it this year and it would not pump any water at all. The pump is full of a thick, white substance. The manual has no information on where to order a rebuild kit for the pump or even a pump.
Motor is great, pump is a disgrace!

My wife bought me the Husky HU80722 pressure washer from Home Depot for a Father's Day present last year and I used it once. This year after taking it out of my basement I tried to power wash my vinyl fence and the pump seized up. I hope this posting will be seen by representatives from Husky. The unit is no longer covered under warranty by Home Depot. I hope that Husky will do something for me since the total time that I actually used the washer was 3 hours last year when I power washed my house. If they don't, then I won't be recommending this machine to anyone and I'll be posting negative comments about this product online everywhere.

Just finished (after about 4 telephone calls) talking with Gardner Inc. and they were very helpful for me to obtain a pump.  The tel. for Gardner Inc. is 1-877-544-9250.  The pump was made for Husky by Homelite; 1-800-242-4672 and I am going to telephone them to see if they have a heavier-duty pump with non-plastic valves; It seems that the valves get distorted if one leaves the washer running for even a few minutes without pulling the washer trigger.  In between uses "SHUT THE DARN THING OFF" even if stepping back to admire your work.  The warranty period is 2 years from purchase, and according to Gardnerinc.com, Home Depot SHOULD ship it for warranty service if they do not have a service center near you.  If no warranty, the pump will run you $105.68 Plus $15.00 Shipping for the exact replacement.  Hope this helps anyone else with the problem.

Only used the 2600 psi washer a few times and now I only have half the power I used to have. After reading all the other posts it seems Home Depot or Husky would have the balls and step up and do whats right and fix the problem of the pumps. Now we only have a great running engine with nothing to do with it.

Same problem on the 2600 as above.  Anyone want to buy a Honda motor with 2 hours on it?  I swear, I will NEVER SET FOOT IN A HOME DEPOT AGAIN IF THEY DON"T MAKE IT RIGHT!  I knew it, I knew it, I knew it when I bought it.  I don't know what I was thinking, I just saw Honda and bought it without thinking of the rest of the parts.  Looking for the receipt, good luck on that...
