In December we purchased a Husky power washer 1750, Since that time it was used exactly 4 times. It does not work, the on off swith does not work, the GFCI plug does not work.

I have made many attempts via E-Mail to contact this company ,and keep getting answers back from someone named Kyle One e- mail asks me if the fan is turning, another asks me to disconnect the hose then try it. Nothing resolving my problems.

The last E mail I received to day stated the following:" Dear Customer, Thank you for contacting us. i am sorry for the inconvenience with the unit and i hope for the best in the future Please feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions. Sincerely, Kyle

To me this is not a response to fix a problem of a basically new machine. My advise stick with Sears, at least they back up their products.

I purchased a Pressure washer model# HU80709 and after the first 10 minutes of use the washer shut off and began leaking fuel from somewhere near the filter and primer (sorry I don't know the exact parts but if you're looking at the engine it's the front right section near the below the big red button into the filter casing, soaking the filter.  I can't seem to find the leak and have no manual referring to this area of the engine in detail. This site looks like there have been resolutions to problems so I'm hoping for some help.

I had the same problem.  Check the orange foam fuel filter, Kohler OEM Foam Filter Element / 1408309S.  Mine split and leaked fuel every time I tried to use it.  Finally took the cover off and checked it.  Sure enough, split open. Waiting for the new parts to come in. The OEM parts store has all the Kohler parts for the Husky power washer.

I have the Husky H 2000 bought it on 5/09. The previous Husky I had from Home Depot lasted over 5 years and burned out however I did use it quite often. The new H 2000 I bought three years ago has only been used on cleaning my 30 x 50 fence one side no less, and my 12x12 cement patio twice. Took it out a few weeks ago to do the annual fence cleaning and the wand is leaking like a sieve. After the summer I bring the whole unit in amd put it in my basement so it's not outside in the freezing weather. I love these bi box stores with there gurantees for life and Home Depot leads the pack. Besides switching to Lowes and I had to buy a universial wand for $26.00 because of there excuses.
One other thing I will not buy anymore is Husky products, they use to be good but not anymore they got the CHINA syndrome now there product quality has gone down, no wonder why there product are so cheap these days. Also Home Depot doesnt even carry the Husky Power washer anymore that should tell you something.

In my entire 70 years I have never purchased a more useless product then the Husky Powerwasher 1650.  It does not work. Among the vast Brotherhood of Power Washers out there, I say, avoid this company at any cost. The Husky Product and Service Group is, in my opinion, is non existent.  HUSKY POWER WASHER SERVICE DIVISION: PLEASE PROVE ME WRONG! Look me up: I'm sitting next to my phone. N. There use to be a time when coustomers ment something to a company like Husky. I bought a 1750 pressure washer and use it 6 times, first the pressure switch stop working then the wand soon after the on and off switch went bad then the capacitor for the motor and know i just ordered a pump rebuild kit because it lost pressure. I called husky a million times and their so called techs could not help me out and basically gave me the [***] run around. Thank god I am mechanicaly inclined, so i took it apart and found some of the cheapest parts you could imagine inside a pressure washer. I was better off buying a washer from some were elese. The holidays are soon here and i have so much cleaning to do around my house in Florida, but here i am trying to fix a pressure washer that i spent a lot of money on. THANKS HUSKY BURN IN HELL!

I had similar problems with a 1 year old Husky powerwasher from Home Depot.  It leaks gas out the air filter.  I have made many attempts via E-Mail and phone to Home Depot and their "authorized service" centers.  They inform me they work on pump issues, not the engine issues.  Home Depot does not warranty any of this work because they cannot even get me a service provided to do the work.  It was under warranty when the issues started, but given I have stopped spending my nights on hold and waiting for more of the same, I gave up. No help resolving problems with products they sell, oh I was told HD owns Husky.  Nice scam. .

Where do I find the serial number for the Husky H2000 pressure washer?  I used once and the motor stopped.  CS told me to take the cover off and turn the motor, well, would be nice if there were some kind of diagram or instruction to do this, don't even know what the motor is supposed to look like since everything is covered in plastic.  Also was told to call a 800 number which requires SN, but dont know there the heck it is.  Anyone know?p4y9

I am looking for a repair manual for the Husky 2000S Power Washer. It is leaking under the machine and we need to determine what part we need. The machine is not very old and has only been used 3 times. From the comments I have seen on this website it looks as though this particular power washer is not very good. Perhaps the whole line of power washers should be pulled from the shelf and the consumer protection notified along with the Better Business Bureau. Well good luck everyone.

I have had similar problems with a Husky 1750 from Home Depot - it hasn't worked from the time I purchased it.  When I phoned Home Depot yesterday, they said to bring it in and they would "take care of me" even though it is out of warranty.  I travelled all the way across town with it, and they were unable to help me once I got there.  Replacing the o-rings hasn't helped in the past, and didn't this time either (I found them somewhere else - Home Depot doesn't stock them).  I am more than annoyed.  I can't afford to buy something that doesn't function.  It's just plain frustrating and disappointing.

My Husky 1750 is made in Italy - and only lasted throught the first light power washing job - on my patio.  I have kept it, thinking it was an easy fix - just an 'o' ring - but apparently it is just a piece of crap.  The equipment shops here say to stay away from this junk - the good quality electric power washers start at $600, but the fittings are made of brass, not plastic.  They said the plastic can't withstand any amount of pressure.  Home Depot doesn't stand behind their products.  This is clearly a defect, and it shouldn't matter how long a person has had it - it was crap from the start.
