In December we purchased a Husky power washer 1750, Since that time it was used exactly 4 times. It does not work, the on off swith does not work, the GFCI plug does not work.

I have made many attempts via E-Mail to contact this company ,and keep getting answers back from someone named Kyle One e- mail asks me if the fan is turning, another asks me to disconnect the hose then try it. Nothing resolving my problems.

The last E mail I received to day stated the following:" Dear Customer, Thank you for contacting us. i am sorry for the inconvenience with the unit and i hope for the best in the future Please feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions. Sincerely, Kyle

To me this is not a response to fix a problem of a basically new machine. My advise stick with Sears, at least they back up their products.

    RE: 2009 Husky H2000 Residential,
That's it... I've been screwed. the handle leaks like crazy. I am soaked to my toes. Only one answer for this baby, wear a bathing suit. I am shocked at how many complaints that I've read about this (and other problems).

I wish I would have found this site containing 14 pages of unsatisfied customers before I bought my Husky gas power washer. I, like so many others have a busted o ring from inside my washer handle. I looked at the parts list and there is no o-ring, just the entire assembly. I am not buying the entire assembly. Can anyone provide a link of somewhere to buy just the washers. I should buy about a dozen because this one busted after only approx 6 hours of use. After reading all these post though I have a feeling I am going to run into more problems down the road.

We used our Husky less than 5 times.  It sprung a leak but still worked somewhat.  It did this just outside it's short warranty.  We put it away for a year.  Then the next time we discovered the pressure wand would no longer connect or fit.  Seems impossible, but it happened.  Something about the plastic and rubber fittings caused them to shrink or expand.  Whatever it is, it simply can not be assembled together.  It's now heading towards the trash can.  WHAT A PIECE OF JUNK!   It has a lifespan from a few days to perhaps a year or so.  Thanks Husky, you piece of sheet!

    Disappointed in Husky
We bought the Husky 2000 new from Home Depot two years ago.  It has never worked correctly from the day we got it.  The power on it has always been insufficient for full cleaning.   We thought that perhaps we could fix it, but based on the comments here, we will just research a good brand and ditch this one.  No more Husky products for us...

With so many complaints it sounds like there should be a class action law suit.

used my 1550 psi maybe two times and now the wand leaks water like a sieve. Bought a replacement wand, etc. and attemped to remove the high pressure hose. Lots of luck, that thing won't budge no matter how hard I try. Tried contacting Husky to see how I could remove the cover so I could get at the valve to remove the old hose , but their e-mail "customerservice@huskypowerwasher.com" not valid. C'mon guys, make yourself available so we can fix your rotten product. Never again with a Husky.

I got mine at home depo too. Terrible customer service. All I hear is sorry. One authorized dealership will fix it for 200. I paid 300! I used it 5 times and since then have had 7 strokes.. it not like I can pick it up and try to. Fix or take here and there. Ho8772 I believe is the one I have. Says it was manufactured in 10/09/2010. If some one can help email me at melimonmart@aol.com

I have a husky,  first time i tried to use it the GFI kept going off.  The motor hummed and stopped.

does anyone know ifv there has been a recall on Husky's.

Try lowering the pressure at the wand. Mine kept cutting in and out until I did this. I could see the mechanical pressure regulator kill the motor if the pressure was too high. The wand is rated 2000psi, bayne that was why.

Bought a Husky H2000 (summer 2009) and have had problems since DAY ONE. When we got it home, the hose/wand was missing from package. We called Husky & they sent us one immediately. We used a few times before the weather got  cold. We went to use it in 2010, but the hose was leaking; we ended up buying a replacement for just under $40. Unit worked for the remainder of the year (mind you, we are only using 3-4 times per year, during the warm weather). We made sure to store inside during winter. We got through 2011 successfully, but when we pulled it out this year, first use it was struggling to build up pressure. After just ONE use, the pump was blown. My husband took apart and ALL seals and o-rings were completely blown out. SO dissappointed! Definitely did not get our money's worth on this. Needless to say, we will NOT BUY ANOTHER HUSKY! Please post any info on class action lawsuit!

I was looking for a replacement gun for a 1600 when I ran across this article. The Power Washer is probably 3 or 4 yrs old. Has pressure washed the entire exterior of a mortar stucco wall and vinyl soffit 1 story 1900 sq ft house 4 times. So I can't really complain I guess, found a replacement gun for $21.00 plus S&H. Hopefully that will stop the excessive water pouring out from around the handle trigger when running and using the unit. I replaced the o-ring at the twist and lock end of the high pressure wand to no avail. The 1600 has 2 wands, the other is a low pressure with suction tube for applying the soap/cleaning solution. I did also take the handle apart. Pretty simple design. Actually, now after giving it some thought, I'll try replacing the other 4 o-rings that are in the trigger assembly. They were several different sizes and I had only gotten several of the one size I replaced on the wand. Which did seem to be a bit 'huskier' than the o-rings in the package of assorted at my first stop. That was on my end of town. Back to Home Depot to get the right ones and try replacing those first. Maybe that will hold it over and see if everything else is going to keep on working for a while.

Very disappointed with my Husky power washer.  After six months of occasional use, the washer will not hold pressure.  I took apart the cover to find water leaks from ruptured O rings on the manifold, a crack in the main discharge port, and misc. Leaks elsewhere.

You get what you pay for.  I know better than to buy cheap products, but I thought this thing could
Hold up to occasional use, I was wrong.  I am Leary of purchasing ANYTHING with the Husky, made
In China JUNK, name on it!
