Telephone number shown on caller ID is 208-864-5339.  I am registered on the "Do Not Call" list and have been for years; however, this bogus company continues to call regardless of what I do.  It begins with a   recorded message "This is Heather of Account Services; I am calling regarding your credit card account.  Consider this your last chance to take advange of this offer.  If you do not wish to receive these calls, please press 2 now.  If you wish to speak to a representative, press 1 now."  I have pressed "2" numerous times but they continue to call.  I have pressed "1" and asked the "representative", a man, to stop calling me.  I have asked to speak to his manager, etc.  When I dial the 208 number, I get a recording, made by the man who I talked with, saying that the number has been changed and to check the directory.  Obviously this message is not recorded by the telephone co.  I am trying to find out the name of the company.

    Harrassed to death
One week after receiving a letter stating I was being taken off their calling list,  the people who originate these calls -- IXE Accelerated Financial Centers -- called again. The letter was sent via the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer services, where I had filed a complaint. I immediately emailed the Florida consumer agency and provided them with a number of web links to complaints from consumers. I got a quick response telling me that the agency has the company licensed and bonded and is compiling complaints. So please complain to them so they can stop these people. Also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission.

I called back the company VP, Jaime Hawley at 888-226-5185 to complain. I initially got a receptionist who said she would "make sure I was called every day." When I finally reached Ms. Hawley -- who seems to constantly be "out of the office," - I was told to try and "prove" these calls were originating from her firm. Fortunately, I managed to get a callback number from an obviously new employee so I know for sure that IXE Accelerated Financial is the caller.

One other thought ... maybe we should all start spamming their website ... calling their office phone and sending them faxes. Obviously, they aren't getting the message from state authorities. Maybe that will get the point across that we don't want to be bothered with their harassing calls.

I keep getting these calls and my caller ID shows "Unknown Number." I pressed 1 to speak with someone and when I told him I was on the DNC list he hung up on me. I'm going to get one of those air horns they use at football games and every flippin' time they call me from now on I'm going to press 1 to speak to a live person and give them a headache!

I have been receiving calls from "Heather" for over a year and for many months I would select the #2 which they never remove your phone number as the recording says.  I have also chosen #1 numerous times and at first I was very nice and I would say that apparently the #2 doesn't work so I want my name removed.  They say they will remove it, but then in a couple of weeks I will get the call again.  I still continue to select #1 and I whenever I ask for a supervisor - amazingly the person I am talking to IS the supervisor.  Yeah, right.  I rant and rave at them and they hang up on me --- and even though I have been told I will be put on the "priority no-call list" they continue to call.  I am beginning to wonder if someone sold a recording of "Heather" to every scamster in the world and these people are using it to try to get personal information in order to either steal your identity or use YOUR own credit card to for merchandise or $$$$.  Whatever you do don't give them anything and maybe after a year or more of coming up dry they will give up the scam, but apparently they find just enough suckers to make it worthwhile for them to continue to do this.

Received a call from these clowns this weekend on my cell phone... add Costa Rica to the numbers they are originating from:  506-2-257-5104.  When I told "Steve" that I am on the federal Do Not Call list he said, "How's that working out for you, Genius?  I mean, you just waited on hold to talk to me on the phone."

Want to thank all of your for this web site. Received a call from IXE financial services to give me a lower interest rate.  Asked for info to be mailed out to my address, Of course no literature to send out was her answer. I then told her I would do some research  on this company and to call me back tomorrow.  Now I know what to tell her!

I got this call once a week for months. I played for information and after talking a supervisor I was told they are part of Dynamic Financial in San Francisco. He said I must have an open card for them to charge a 9oo.oo dollar processing fee. He said this would not impace me because my payments will be lower. "would you rather pay this charge to a company who is helping you or to a card company just to build more buildings?

I keep getting these calls from Heather at Account Services and other calls similar to them. They will not stop until some AG office or FTC is motivated to act, and that usually doesn't happen unless someone actually suffers a loss.
    1. Hitting "1" and screaming or abusing the telemarketer does not work, they simply hang up. Your number is in the computer and they will call again... and again..
    2. Reporting to your AG (tracing phone) will not work. The AG in my state said the number they call from is through an internet phone... not traceable!
    3. Filing a complaint on the Federal No Call list does not work, for the same reasons as #2 above. Our state recently started prosecuting no-call violators because the business-friendly federal government was so lax in enforcement. The telemarketers KNOW this and intentionally violate the No Call list knowing they won't get prosecuted.
The only way I know of stopping them is to have your state AG office  create a honeypot bank account, then give the telemarketer that account number and catch them when they actually commit a crime by tapping funds from the account. -OR- change your phone number.

    Ok, same as everybody else...
They call, I ask questions and they hang up.
They stopped for a few months then started calling again. I asked for a name, got Chris, this doesn't help me but I ACTED interested. He said they can qualify me for lower rates on all my cards. I asked how much this service is (as in Credit Services) and he said free, how much balance do I have on my cards. I said none, CLICK. I called the number back...disconnected. Without info they can't be prosecuted. I believe the PHONE companies have an obligation to give you REAL caller ID's. This is ridiculous. Next time I'm going to give them phony info and act all interested and then tell them if they wouldn't mind holding on as someone is at the door. Then leave the phone for about 15 minutes. WASTE THEIR TIME! An eye for ane eye. I suggest you do the same.

I have been receiving these calls for months - home phone and cell phone.
I asked who they were affilliated with - VISA (not my VISA).  I told them I'm on Do Not Call and not to call again... They insisted they were not telemarketers.  Asked to speak to a supervisor and was asked "Why???" by a rude smart-ass.  When I mentioned applicable fines, same person said "Really?... ooooohhh!"  Smart-ass.  I'd love to able to find/fine them!!!  Now, if you just answer the phone and repeat Hello, Hello... they hang up.  Maddening!

Tonight was my first night on the job and just found out all this information about it being a scam! If you could PLEASE provide me a number for the Tampa Bay area to which I can report them (seeing as I'm working on the inside here) I would greatly appreciate it! I don't think I can stand going back there for another day knowing they steal people's credit card information. I'm not a crook and will have no part it doing this. I have obtained about 4 people's credit card information, oblivious to the fact it's a fraudulent company, and will call them back tomorrow warning them about "Account Services" and to immediately call their banks or cancel their cards

They tell you to say you are in a call center based out of a different state. (They told us to say San Francisco, Calif.) but the base is in Tampa, Florida. If you guys want to get them back and harass them, their number is 813-418-5811. "Naomi in Human Resources" will answer, IT IS THE DIRECT LINE, not human resources. She's a scammer too so feel free to unload on her or for the ring leader, ask for Jason. Also, their address is 8413 Laurel Fair Circle suite 100 Tampa, Florida. I have called the The bay news team, florida attorney general, and a complaint line since last night, they all told me the same thing: File a complaint online. What is this world coming to?

*Warning they do have caller ID so if you do not want any call backs block your number!

Got the call today, and it was just that recorded message, but I was half asleep and I didn't know what was going on, so I pressed 1, and they said they were called "Credit Services" out of Atlanta, and wanted to know about my dept and all that, so I asked questions and the girl couldn't answer so she gave me to her manager.

I asked her manager how this worked and she said she would call my credit cards and get me a lower rate, so I said how do you benefit and she said all we get the difference between the new interest rate and the old, and I said so the credit card company is going to pay you because you reduced someone's interest rate.

Anyhow long story short, I said send me something in writing she said they had, and this was my last chance, I said OK not interested, because I'm not giving my credit card number to anyone over the phone, she said don't worry your protected from any fraudulent usage, and they wouldn't loose their FTC license for my credit.

I said no, she started to yell and harrass me and then said fine as soon as we hang up I'm closing your case and calling all of your credit cards and having your interest rates raised to the highest levels and locked for 18 months and enjoy your debt.

I mean what a loser, so I guess I will report this, but I've looked at the FTC site and see nothing about this, nor at my attorney generals site, so I don't know how long it has been going on

    Your Name Here
Card Services calls me at least twice a week.  I just got off the phone with them 30 min ago.  I try to get information out of them, but they wont give me anything until i give them my credit card number and they verify my debt and payment history with my CC company... then and only then will they give me a number where i can call.

I get passed to the supervisor who explains all of this again, how im protected from fraud, etc, etc.

finally the supervisor gets pissed and says "enjoy your high percent rate on that debt" and then hangs up on me... lol.

i have no credit card debt... but i do get a kick out of trying to get your information while i keep you on the phone for 15 mins as you explain to me why i should give you my CC #.

If you worked for this place, then tell everyone where they are, so the FBI can raid their offices for god sake, this is crazy, and I'm sick of the calls. Or is lying and protecting criminals how it works in your world. Do the right thing for a change.

There may be two separate sets of scammers.

After a year of calls, I duped a caller two days ago into giving me a callback number. I was able to use this number + Google to find job listings in careerbuilder.com. Some of these had addresses associated with them - and this gave me the big break. See these links:
    http://whocalled.us/lookup/9095029109

This address is also used for American Timeshares Marketing and Prestige Timeshare Marketing, as well as for a debt collection agency:

Also at this address is this company:
    http://www.1800jussold.com/contact_us.php

There is a company called “Publishers Choke” listed at that same address:
    http://start.cortera.com/company/research/k2o3mxk7l/publishers-choke-inc/
And this complaint is about American Timeshare Marketing – also at this address:
    http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/293/RipOff0293054.htm

Based on some of the information linked here, the company may already be under investigation, and could be subject to $50K per call.

    I'd recommend the following strategy:
Take the call, and state that you meet the criteria (>$3000 on a credit card in good standing). Say that you need to rush out, and could you call back. You may get a callback number - and that will verify if your scammer is the same as mine.

    Good hunting.

I recieve calls from the area code 208 everyday, sometimes more than once a day. I had heard that it is a scam and that if you answer or give any info, you will be charged a large amount of long distnace on your phone bill. Has anybody else heard of this scam? I am sick of them calling here. I don't answer. I let the machine get it and they never leave a message... If anbody else has heard about being charged for long distnace charges and a large amount, please let me know. So, I don't think I am the only one...
