Telephone number shown on caller ID is 208-864-5339.  I am registered on the "Do Not Call" list and have been for years; however, this bogus company continues to call regardless of what I do.  It begins with a   recorded message "This is Heather of Account Services; I am calling regarding your credit card account.  Consider this your last chance to take advange of this offer.  If you do not wish to receive these calls, please press 2 now.  If you wish to speak to a representative, press 1 now."  I have pressed "2" numerous times but they continue to call.  I have pressed "1" and asked the "representative", a man, to stop calling me.  I have asked to speak to his manager, etc.  When I dial the 208 number, I get a recording, made by the man who I talked with, saying that the number has been changed and to check the directory.  Obviously this message is not recorded by the telephone co.  I am trying to find out the name of the company.

Regarding the solicitation from "account services" and them violating the "do not call" list, I have been receiving these calls for over a year.  I am also a consumer advocate.  This seems like some sort of scam.  On numerous occasions they have asked me to read out my credit card number to a total stranger, often within 10 seconds of answering the phone.  Whenever I start asking investigative questions, they immediately hang up on me.  The background noise is a big boiler room, bull pen, telephone solicitation operation.

I just received my 8 or 9th call from "heather." when i press 1 the guy hangs up on me when i tell him to take me off of their list.
i filed two complaints with the FCC and gave them a link to a blog that had info on this scam. i don't have caller ID and tend to pick up the phone when it rings. Old habits die hard. I am going to let all calls be picked up by the answering machine. I will now make a complaint with the attorney general.

    You are kidding, right?
First of all these people are knocking on our doors so to speak. they have phoned our home. you can take offense all you want but these idiots are invading our personal space. i am on the do not call list but that doesn't mean a thing to these morons. The phone is mine...I pay for the service....why should I not answer my phone. i have it for friends and family not scam artists. they are wrong. i am not.

these "real" people can get a job at Target or their local supermarket.

I received a call from "Heather" a few minutes ago and decided to press 1.  When I asked which card(s) they were calling about, they used the safe answer "Visa and Mastercard."  "Do you have my account details then?"

    Click, buzz.

I get a Heather or John call every single day, sometimes several times a day, and have for more than a year even though I too am on the do not call list.  It's always about my "credit card".  I don't press any numbers; simply hang up but it is very frustrating.  Once some kind of coded number showed up but in all other cases, it was either an unknown caller or blocked call.  You would think that something could be done about it by the government since they are knowingly violating some U.S. law.

I have gotten these calls for weeks and now, almost every day despite hitting "2" to stop receiving the calls. I have been on the do not call list for years. Sometimes they are from an oversees number, but lately, the number shows up as blocked.  Today I pressed one, and tried to NICELY explain that I kept getting these calls, didn't even have credit cards that needed rates adjusted (!!!) and am on the do not call list, and wanted to know how to be permanently removed from receiving these calls.  The man hung up on me.  How do we notify the proper authorities that they are in total violation of the do not call list????  What a nuisance!

After doing a lot of reserch I am convinced nobody with the authority to stop this scam cares. I lost my boat whistle, but I have a Bach trumpet, the next time Heather calls and I'm home, somebody is going to have a very sore eardrum.

I've been getting calls from these people almost daily for more than a year. Same things, get hung up on. Ask for Supervisor to put stop to calls, get hung up on. Everything everyone else has been posting.  If anyone gets results please post it. I've put the caller ID number into the FCC Do not call registry website. But in reading the posts that doesn't help.

I received a call today from ACCOUNT SERVICES in regard to my credit card.
I have received these calls many times before even though I am registered on the NATIONAL DO NOT CALL LIST.   Each time I have received a call from ACCOUNT SERVICES, I have filed a complaint with the Federal Communication Commission.  Today, I filed a complaint with the FCC and the North Carolina Attorney General.   These FEDERAL and STATE agencies have the power to investigate and STOP the illegal practices of this company.   Consumer protection is not working with the NATIONAL DO NOT CALL REGISTRY.

I also get these stupid phone calls from "Heather at credit card services".  The phone number that showed up on my caller ID recently showed:  850-648-6744, but (as could be predicted) that number is not in service when I called it back.  I also registered with the National Do Not Call list.  I get VERY annoyed because they always seem to call when I'm asleep (I'm a day sleeper).  I'd like to physically get hold of these a$$holes and rip them a new one.

Perhaps a flood of complaints by all of us to the Feds will get some attention?  I found several sources of filing complaints here:

    http://www.consumer.gov/sentinel/

    https://www.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx

Filing a Complaint with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC):
If you feel that you are a victim of an international phone scam, you can file a complaint with the FTC online at https://rn.ftc.gov/pls/dod/wsolcq$.startup?Z_ORG_CODE=PU01. You can also submit a complaint by calling the FTC toll-free at 1-877-382-4357 (voice) or 1-866-653-4261 (TTY), or writing to:

    tired of Heather
I keep getting these calls like everyone else.  Caller ID shows these come from Ft. Lauderdale but I cannot reach them by calling back.  I have pressed 1 and asked to be removed from the list but Heather keeps phoning, sometimes multiple times in the same day.  I am on the do not call list. I would love to never hear from them again.

I have also been a repeat victim of our friend "Heather at Account Services" for the last 5 months. Nothing works to stop them, not telling them, not pressing the opt-out number, nor being on the DNC lists, nor threatening them with the Better Business Bureau. I actually traced down a Financial Services company in Atlanta, GA which is what I got out of one of the always changing "phone artists" and submitted a complaint with the BBB in Georgia since you need to do that in the state the company operates. A lawyer with a legitimate company responded to my complaint indicating that they are aware of these complaints, since I wasn't the first one to approach them, but that they are not in the credit card or consumer credit/credit consolidation market, so it's not them. So, dead end.
I have been trying to get more information from the phone reps, but once you start asking questions they know to hang up on you.
It's a slick and very annoying outfit that knows how to evade complaints and prosecution, but it's unethical, invasive and annoying, no matter what industry insiders say. No legitimate company would use these cloak and dagger tactics and I am not inclined to give fly by night outfits any kind of sensitive information over the phone. I will keep a loud whistle next to my phone as the last defense.

I've been getting these calls about two times a week for the last two years.   It drives me INSANE.   The numbers on the Caller ID come from anywhere and everywhere - the UK, Florida, California, the 442 area code.   I wish wish WISH something could be done about this.

    Sorry2say:
PLEASE call your state attorney general and tell them everything you know about these CRIMINALS! Tell them how they recruit employees, where they call from, who signs the checks, and who got the information that unsuspecting consumers provided to you.

These folks have knowingly been violating all kinds of laws and hiding from justice for months now. Please help put them (especially 'Heather') away!

    They call almost every day!
"Heather" leaves a voice mail at my house every single day.. Even on saturday they are calling now.. funny thing is I don't have a car OR a credit card, so it's obviously a scam.. this has been going on for over a year now.  I have pressed '2' to be removed to no avail, have pressed '1' to be 'told off' by a 'representative' it's just unreal how they are still 'working' people.

I, too, have received these annoying calls.  Next time "Heather" calls after pressing #2, she will be hearing my whistle, loud and clear.
