Our company is call Global Reach Institute, and we have received numerous complaints of people receiving calls with Global Reach Int on their caller ID>  It is not us, we NEVER make unsolicited calls, and don't utilize telemarketing in our organization.  The phone number that is making these calls is not associated with us in any way. Our organization is headquartered in Spokane, Washington, not Los Angeles.    Please understand we have done everything we can think of to make them stop using this caller ID and making unsolicited calls, however have been told by the phone company, etc, that there is nothing they can do.  We are mortified that our good name is being smeared by whomever is making these calls, but please understand that it is NOT Global Reach Institute, just as your identity can be stolen, so can your company ID apparently.  We are a humanitarian/educational travel organization that develops educational/humanitarian international programs to help make the world a better place for everybody.  The calls you are receiving are not from Global Reach Institute (for International Education).

    This #1-213-452-6533has been calling non-stop for about 2 weeks now. Last night I CALLED THEM BACK and the guy gave me the same song and dance about government grants (which I NEVER filled anything out on line!!!)...I swore at the guy and told him he was full of you-know-what and that I was going to tell the police about this "scam". The man then YELLED AT ME ('cuz I told him "I know what you guys are about!") so then I told him to "google it!" and to call me back if he wanted trouble. Well, that was last night, and they haven't called back yet. I say we all start calling THEM and harassing them and see how they like it!!!!

    They call me several times a day. No one ever leaves a message, and it is my cell phone that they are calling constantly. This sucks!!

    The number you posted is the EXACT number that is calling me.... they have been calling now for the past 3 days and now they are calling every 3-4 MINUTES!!!! I'm glad I found your post here, because I told them that I know who they are and what they are about and that I reported them to the FCC for harassment.  As soon as I said that, she hung up on me.

    They keep calling me, too.  From 213-452-6533.  I filed a complaint with the FCC.  Please go to fcc.gov and file a complaint.  That's the only way they will stop.

    I am sooo tired of these ppl calling my house as late as 10:30 at night...wtf??? the number that keeps calling me is Globalreach Int. 213-347-2139

    I got fed up with the number Globalreach Int. calling me 10-12 times a day so i called them back and the lady who answered told me that i need a 21 day trial for acai berry because its obvious i want to lose some weight..lol. this is so funny to me because i am 5"7 and 115 lbs. I blocked the number. thats all u can really do.

    For the last 3 weeks, 8-12 times a day(!!) I get this phone call from 'GlobalReach Int'213-452-6533. I am home from back surgery and can't go to the phone very fast, and when I do, it' 90% this call! Sometimes they let it ring 2 times and I miss it or it'll ring til my answer machine picks up. It's so annoying and stressful since I can't move very fast! I just called the number and lady (from France?) with a terrible broken English accent tried to tell me this call was in regards to government grants. What? I told her please don't call anymore, I wasn't interested. She says (I think) she would forward my message on. We'll see.

    Excellent....I'm glad that it helped you. Maybe they will give up (or get shut down).....I'm just thankful that this web page was easy to find...I wouldn't have had the guts to do what I did if other people hadn't posted, as well!

    have been getting these calls also now for 2 weeks. They call at least 5 times a day. They are driving me crazy. I blocked them on my phone but it still rings once before its blocked. I asked the phone co. if they could block this number & it would cost me $6 a month for that. I dont know what to do anymore. They apparently are using an automated dialing system. If I pick up no one is there. My caller ID shows Global Reach INT. The number is 213-426-2761. Ive called the number & its temp. out of service.
    What else can be done?

    I found this page and I called them and told them to stop calling and they call right back and said nothing. I called them back and said to stop their game and they said they would take me off the list. We will see. That harrasment needs to stop. Those stupid worthless losers.

Sounds like a good idea.  Also, anytime you want customer service from a company and they are from the Phillipines or India, ask to be transferred to someone in the US.  If they don't transfer you WRITE to the parent company, and tell them no more business until they fix their offshore personnel problem.

    As many of us as possible should try to get their address and POST it on the web.  The Gov't in the U.S. is NO HELP.

    213-430-4297 is the number that Ive got called from.  The lady called for the first time and I told her to call back in 30 minutes so I could do some research about this Globalreach program... Once she called back I called her out and told her to get a legitimate job and make legitimate money and stop trying to scam money from people who make their money the right way and I also told her to look her company up on Google.  This is a shame, apparantly Globalreach Int. is real ocmpany here in my homestate that does good, humanitarian volunteer work overseas and its disgusting to see people degrade the good name of this company.  Now when someone hears the name Globalreach Int. they will think of a big fat smelly scam and not the group that does the volunteer work overseas...... Obviously, things like this really grind my gears!
