Our company is call Global Reach Institute, and we have received numerous complaints of people receiving calls with Global Reach Int on their caller ID>  It is not us, we NEVER make unsolicited calls, and don't utilize telemarketing in our organization.  The phone number that is making these calls is not associated with us in any way. Our organization is headquartered in Spokane, Washington, not Los Angeles.    Please understand we have done everything we can think of to make them stop using this caller ID and making unsolicited calls, however have been told by the phone company, etc, that there is nothing they can do.  We are mortified that our good name is being smeared by whomever is making these calls, but please understand that it is NOT Global Reach Institute, just as your identity can be stolen, so can your company ID apparently.  We are a humanitarian/educational travel organization that develops educational/humanitarian international programs to help make the world a better place for everybody.  The calls you are receiving are not from Global Reach Institute (for International Education).

    I am glad I found this site. I have been getting calls for a couple weeks. I don't answer and I am getting very upset about it. Please post if there is anything I can do to make this go away. The number I am getting is 213-426-2705

    So far I got a call from this number today (2/9/09)first one @ 7:37pm. I was not looking at my cell phone, thinking it was my husband calling I answered. Whoever was calling did not say anyting and hung up. the second call came in @ 8:20 (I was on another call)I googled the # and wow!!! my caller ID said unknown but the # they are using is (213)426-2701. let's add this one to the list.

    I have been getting phone calls everyday for the last two weeks and continue to do so.  The number is 213-426-2701.  I do not answer and the do not leave a message.

    To stop these calls, you have to make sure your phone number is on the National DoNot call list (www.donotcall.gov).  When they call, interupt them and tell them that you are on the Do Not Call list and you will be filing a complaint if they call your number again.  They will be very rude but be just as rude back.  I was laughed at but the phone calls did stop.

    you most definitely DO NOT give your credit card information over the phone ever unless it is your calling a place and you know the place is legit...but even then do this sparingly.

    I first was called with this number, caller ID said this:

    After I went to www.trapcall.com I blocked their number (for free) and then started getting calls from the 213 area code.  I have read all of your complaints and have gathered all of the phone numbers they have been calling from so far:

    When I looked at my cell phone bill this is the number that displayed for a lot of the numbers that called 866-967-6590 ... they are hiding behind an 866 area code number even though on your caller id it will show all of the other numbers.  BLOCK THIS NUMBER 866-967-6590

    I have begun receiving calls from these people as well.  Here is a good document from the FCC http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/consumerfacts/tpca.html
    I printed it for future reference.  It talks about company specific do-not-call lists.  I do not know you could do this.  If this company does not comply with this, I will file a complaint.  Sounds like people I do not want to be involved with.  Guess they don't realize we google people and phone numbers now.

    Oh my gosh - I'm not the only one.
    the number i get is:

    they call like 3x right in a row.  it's so annoying.  our number is on the do not call list - but i guess i will have to be making a complaint.

    I just recieved my first call from Global Reach Intl.....googled it and found this page. I never answer B S calls like that from Tele Marketers anyway. I'll have to answer it and play with his head a bit, putting them on hold and using an airhorn or something fun.

    if your on the do not call list.. report the company and phone # to the FCC.  They will take care of it..

    I was tooken in by this, then I went strat to my bank and changed my card. So they cant take me, again. The name I was given was Aileen and the number was 1-877-495-1145. Thank you !

    You are lucky, only three or four times a day...here they are calling every 25 minutes five days a week.  I've actually had to just unplug my phone at times.  We've recently moved, it's our new number they are calling so I suspect it's my home phone service provider (time warner) who is selling lists of new numbers to people like globalreach.

    I'm on the do not call list, and nothing has been done, i'm still getting the calls, every 25 minutes a day, starting at as early as 6:30 AM.  I'm at my wits end with these people.

    i get atleast 30 calls a day from them when i pick up no answer so i started answering it and putting it on my stero speaker just for fun and maxing the volume out. take that scam artists since i am in the process of filing a lawsuit for harrasment on them since i am on the donot call list. the number they are calling me from is 213-228-8111.

    Thank You everyone. I just started receiving calls 3 days ago and thought I would try to research 1st before answering. Day 1 was three calls and today it's 5 calls and it's near 2:30pm. I wish there was something we can do. I will have to research this out.
