We purchased a Spring Air Mattress June 13, 2005 from Cajun Brothers in Conway, AR. One of the main reasons we purchased this mattress was the warranty. We noticed that the mattress was sagging (on both sides) where we sleep. Cajun Brothers came to our house, (February 2007), took pictures, measured the sag and sent them to Spring Air.

Spring Air replied that our mattress was not that bad. We needed to rotate the mattress. Not that bad? Is a Spring Air mattress supposes to be comfortable and not sag for 2 years only? That is almost $500.00 a year for a bed. I really do not think this is acceptable. We are very unhappy with this mattress. We are supposed to have a 100% warranty not to be prorated in any way.We have a king size Vienna pillow top.

I sleep on the right side in the summer and my husband on the left. In the winter, we switch. In my opinion, we are rotating the mattress. We are unhappy about the way we have been treated. If a mattress is sagging, IT IS SAGGING. It does not make any difference how much. If something is broken, it is broken. We do not want another Spring Air mattress; another one would probably do the same thing as this one has. We are truthfully tired of the hassle. We have lived with this for a year now its time something was done. We expect a refund from Spring Air.

we too got shafted. we paid almost 2k for our non-turnable pillowtop, that supposedly had a 10 yr unlimited warranty...2 yrs later we are rolling to the middle every time we get in bed. The company we bought it from bankrupt-gone. now to find out manuf. bk'd too?? pretty crappy! Already have a back injury, so sleeping on this crappy mattress, if you can call tossing and turning sleeping,is like pouring salt in an open wound.

I never said I cut open the mattress,Idiot! Read what I wrote. I think you must work for Spring Air. I had a job that required me to stay in a hotel for two weeks. On that mattress my back and hips felt fine and a good nights rest.  Spring Air sucks!

After a week of efforts, starting with contact to the phone number 617-884-2300 - I have concluded that there will be no relief for the thousands of us who bought Spring Air Mattresses within the last 4-5 years.  I was sent to the Salt Lake City office, which is "my territory office".  They do not return calls, answer letters, and their voice mailboxes are full!  The number above is also know as "aka E & E Bedding".  Of all the new Spring Air offices, the Salt Lake City office has the worst BBB rating - it rates an "F"

In my opinion, the attorney generals of each state should file legal action against the group of investors, who got a chapter 11 bankruptcy, voided all warrantees they gave when they took our money for the mattresses - and sold their name.  These investors are still in existence.  After talking with several retailers, who sold the  "old Spring Air" their products went bad the last few years of their existence.  There has to be laws which apply to such a huge amount of mattress failure, all with the same story.  There are "lemon laws" with automobiles.  As I read the complaints, I started calculating the huge amount of money taken from people who purchased Spring Air with a warranty code "N" which is 10 years/no charge repair or replacement.

If there is any such legal action started already, please post.  In summary, the phone number above, provides to assurance of help, whatsoever!

Im in Canada and bought a Spring Air pillow top quess. The coils started popping the first 2 daysm sagginging within 2 weeks. The company I bought it from is picking it up so that Spring Air can "fix" it. No replacement, just refubish. So I am ouyt of a bed for 3-4 weeks while they refurbish my brand new matress and send me back the defective one  supposed "fixed" What a waste of money.

We bought our SpringAir in Oct '07 and it is causing us back problems. It is sagging and we have filed a warranty claim, but the company is saying they filed bankrupt and has never acknowledge receiving our packet of information.  We took pictures and completed the warranty packet and mailed it over five weeks ago.  I contacted the headquarters and they gave me a phone number in North Dakota, but have never received a call back.  I hope someone does contact 20/20 or dateline.....good luck to everyone.  I feel like I am out the $1300 I spent on this crappy mattress!

Nothing but frustration.  I purchased a very expensive Spring Air back supporter in December 06 from JCPenney.  Within a few months it was sagging on one side even though I turned it according to instructions.  One side sank over 2".  When I try to sleep on the otherside I roll off the edge or roll back into the sag.  This is very uncomfortable.  I bagan sleeping on my 12 year old Sterns and Foster from my guest room.  I called and requested paperwork and was told I had to ship it to another state.  I have consistently been given incorrect information from the beginning of what I need to do to use my warranty.  I guess they want me to give up.  Today, finally someone came out to take photos and measure the depth of the crater.  Hopefully I will get some resolution..the service guy said I would know in about 5 days.  I'm hoping that JCPenney will step up and honor this warranty if Spring Air does not.

I have owned 2 Spring Air mattresses and they were both the worse mattresses I ever owned. They sagged the worst and the fastest compared to other brands I've used. I recommend people don't by Spring Air.

I also am in the Springair black hole of sagging death, and no sleep. To be honest, with these many people complaining about the same condition on not so old beds, dosent look like anything is going to happen...sorry to say.

This is an update to my post.  JCPenney stepped up and honored the Spring Air warranty!!!  I received a call in about 3 days from the inspection confirming that the Spring Air was indeed defective.  I was instructed to come into the store and select a replacement.  I chose a Sealy.  I did have to pay for this new purchase but then was credited for the total cost of my original purchase within 7 days of the pick up of the old set.  My total out of pocket was $33.27 as the new set was slightly more expensive from the original Spring Air purchase.  JCPenney now has a life long customer!

we too bought a springair matress from RC Willey.  It is used in our spare room and is hardly used but when used we are told it is a taco bed because the couple will fall in the middle and can't get out.  only when a couple uses it.  So our  matress is four years old and used maybe 50 times if that.  We called RC Willey who sent out a "matress expert" to check the bed.  took pictures and measured the sag.  said the sag is only 1.25 inches and not bad enough.  He never laid on the bed with another to see if he sinks in bed and can't get out.  It is a bunch of BS.  Of course the company filed for bankruptcy just like every other low life company and person who files for bk.  Won't buy another bed from RC Willey or anything else for that matter and I was a good customer.  If they don't stand behind what they sell with warranties then why bother.  My new philosphy is, buy cheap cause even the expensive stuff is crap and you won't get your money back.

We have a different issue but the same if that makes sense..We have a crown or a hump in the middle of our Nature's Rest Paradise from Spring Air.  Mattress World in Pittsburgh told us they would give us a new bed at their cost which was close to $2000.  We paid $2800 for the bed.  Not a great deal if you are me...What is the best way to go about getting some sort of refund?

Thanks for the number, but after calling  "Jason" told me that since spring air went out of business in june of 2009 and they purchased it after that date that they cannot help us with any warranty issues.  He gave me this number (1-903-641-3712)  as the number for the Texas plant.  And of course, my call went straight to a Frankie Alonzo's voice mail.  I hate getting the run a round on this.  But, I will try to have faith that someone will help us.  I will post if I find out anything else.

I am having the same problem with them I just contacted the penn.  plant and no one seems to be the least bit receptive to the sagging issues.  I just contacted the store where we purchased.  I will see if this helps!  Very unhappy. If you have another contact # please let me know.
