We purchased a Spring Air Mattress June 13, 2005 from Cajun Brothers in Conway, AR. One of the main reasons we purchased this mattress was the warranty. We noticed that the mattress was sagging (on both sides) where we sleep. Cajun Brothers came to our house, (February 2007), took pictures, measured the sag and sent them to Spring Air.

Spring Air replied that our mattress was not that bad. We needed to rotate the mattress. Not that bad? Is a Spring Air mattress supposes to be comfortable and not sag for 2 years only? That is almost $500.00 a year for a bed. I really do not think this is acceptable. We are very unhappy with this mattress. We are supposed to have a 100% warranty not to be prorated in any way.We have a king size Vienna pillow top.

I sleep on the right side in the summer and my husband on the left. In the winter, we switch. In my opinion, we are rotating the mattress. We are unhappy about the way we have been treated. If a mattress is sagging, IT IS SAGGING. It does not make any difference how much. If something is broken, it is broken. We do not want another Spring Air mattress; another one would probably do the same thing as this one has. We are truthfully tired of the hassle. We have lived with this for a year now its time something was done. We expect a refund from Spring Air.

It's not Spring air's fault. ALL brands will tell you 1 & 1/2 inch sag is needed before it is considered defective. On your next mattress purchase buy a bed with less padding, see the posts I made further down the page.

I can't tell you any more because I don't know what your body type is. What surprizes me is that a 3/4" body impression is giving you fits. It usually takes a bigger sag than that to cause people problems. Unless your a stomach sleeper

Try this; take a thin pillow or thick blanket (folded) & put it between the matt & box at the point where your hips would rest & see if that fixes the problem. If your a stomach sleeper then put the blanket/pillow a littler higher more towards your stomach area.

BTW in 13 years of selling mattresses I have heard customers come in & swear they will not buy every brand imaginable. Simmons, Sealy/Sterns, Serta & Spring Air it doesnt matter a bad expierance can be had with anything or any mattress. I have also had customers come in that had thier Simmons/Sealy/Spring Air for 20 years & want another one just like it.

Spring Air contracts companies located throughout the US to produce their product line. I know for a fact that some of their contractors sourced sub-standard foam to cut manufacturing costs which created sub-standard product specifically on the higher-end pillowtops. Spring Air has canceled many contracts with third party companies and even closed some of their own facilities...Phoenix being the last one that I know of. As far as many of the complaints listed here, they all point to poor quality products and not improper mattress selection.

I have a mattress made by Park Place Corp. That promises that I will be getting the best night sleep I've ever had. What I have is the worst pain ever. The mattress sags within weeks. The mattress is no good, This is   our third defective mattress. The place of purchase was called The Bedding Corner located in Virginia. My advice is to never due any business with these slimy people. The owner sucks deeply. She is a master at her craft riping off people. She has all of her connections in Hanover court in place to cover her shady business. Now that the third replacement mattress failed she will not honor the 20 year warranty nor will Park Place. Park Place states that I did not purchase anything from them therefore they do not owe me anything. The owner had me and my family put out of her store because I asked for a refund. I still need a mattress or a refund. This is bad business. I need help.

People need help stopping these shady business form riping them off. People are trying to buy good products. Park Place Corp aka Orderest and Bragada has many different products they put out under different labels Sleep therapy, Tempur-pedic,comfortaire, magnetic therapy,Eco therapy, visco-elastic and more. They need to be stopped with their worthless products. Extorting people out of thousands of dollars because they know  that they can get away with it. The Manufactures get these stores to sell their products and the stores that sells the products sells the product with a no refund policy, therefore they hold no obligations to the customer. Then they manufacture states that you did not buy the product from them, leaving you with a worthless piece of crap

i just received my paper work to complete for a problem that I have with a King Sheet Mattress and box spring set. They informed me if it required replacement I will be force to pay $150 for each item.  For my king size bed which includes two box springs I will be force to pay 450 dollars.  Go figure!  I have a manufacture in my city. I was informed that I can't pick it up to save the costs.

We bought a SEALY mattres from Art Van Furniture co. in Ann Abrbor Mi. on 11-3-04. On 1-17-06 it had to be replaced because it was sagging really bad on  both sides of it.
Now on 10-14-08 we requested a new revision of the replacement mattress because it was sagging more than the old one.
They refused to gives a new mattress under the silly excuse that the mattress had an stain. We (my wife and I could not see it) they are using the excuse of the stain in order to avoid the replacement. The mattress
sags badly. The mattress is a defective one, so, what's is the problem with the stain ZERO. This is a rip off of the consumer. Who is looking after the consumer.  W.J.Aparicio. 1073 Louise. Ypsilanti. Mi. 48197

    Spring Air is Sag Air
Another dissatisfied Spring Air owner here. Purchased a Queen Back Supporter set in Nov. 2006. For the first year the mattress was fine. Over the last year the mattress has lost all structural integrity. At times it feels as though I will fall off the bed, the sides sag so much. I am very careful to rotate and flip my mattress as instructed. I am completely dissatisfied with the spring Air product. I contacted Spring Air and all they said was that they would mail me a warranty claim form. I would also need to take photos and pay $150 shipping charge if they agree it is defective. I am an 80-year-old widow and asked for a man to come and measure the sag. They said they stopped doing that 2 years ago and
there were no exceptions. By the way, I live in Vero Beach Fl and got
no help from Mattress Barn in Vero whom I purchased the set from. If fact they were quite rude to me. I'll let everyone know what happens.

I bought a spring air harmony select in august of 2005.  Just got approved for a new mattress.  Sagging on both sides, but a great ordeal involved to take pictures, etc.  At first they said my frame was not approved.  I called back, did some yelling.  They told me to retake pictures.  Sent a second set, but they lost them.  I called and yelled some more.  Finally got approval on 11/7/08.  Will supposedly be getting new mattress in one month.

I have a Spring Air Euro Topper that I purchased less than a year ago and the thing has become very uncomfortable but it doesn't sag when nobody is on the bed.  When I get in bed the springs make popping sounds and it sinks in. I make up feeling like I was run over by a car, just like I did when it was time to replace my 10 year old Sealy but this mattress is less than a year old.  I slept great for the first 3 or 4 months but then this mattress started sinking in.  I am not a skinny person but I am not huge.  I weigh 220 lbs and that should not cause a mattress problem.

I am so mad because I know it will be a waste of time to put in a claim because they will say it's not sagging.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

I would start the warranty claim process. If the mattress has any type of stain then don't waste your time. It will take several weeks but it's worth the try. Most of the Spring Air problems are due to poor quality foam and fiber fill. Give it a shot.

    Sciatica Sally
We've had our spring air 'natural secrets back supporter' for 3 years. We bought it from RC Willey in Utah. We purchased it because my husband is physically disabled. He has Aracnnoiditis. It's a deterioration of the back.
He has CHRONIC PAIN. We needed something super durable and long lasting. The bed was great for about a year. Then the SAG came. He can only lay for 1-3 hours off and on per night.  I have never really had back problems before this bed. I have sciatic pain down my right leg. I've been to my podiatrist and had a foot lift put in my right shoe. THIS BED IS KILLING US !!!!!!

Mr. Mattress Man came out and guess what?  THE SAGGING ISN'T SUBSTANTIAL ENOUGH.  I have measured and measured and the craters are more than 1.5"
I'm getting a truck, loading the mattress, taking it to RC WILLEY(they sold spring air.they should stand behind the product),going the the front door and dragging it to the mattress department and dumping it there. GOOD RIDDANCE TO SPRING SAG!

We have a different brand but had exactly the same problem.  We filed initially for warranty and were denied and let it go for 2 years.  Last week we were buying another piece of furniture and complained about the crumby ($2300 crumby?) bed set they had sold us.  He said he knew exactly what our problem was and that we needed to replace the wood slats that support the box springs, mattress and us with steel ones.  We bought the "kit" for $49, installed it and problem solved!  I really didn't think that this would fix it but am happy that it did!

I too have experienced trouble with my mattress Itis sagging and I have had it less than a year.  I called the store where I purchased it and they said it had to sag 3" before being defective.  That is not what the warranty says.  I wake up every morning with a backache and headache, thanks a lot Spring Air. I wish I had found this site before buying something so worthless.

I bought a spring air regency king for $1750.just for the mattress, no foundation since it was going on a solid wood(no particle board)platform.
from "mattress giant"7/07. it started to sag within months. we thought we would wait to make a claim since we know the 10 yr warranty means 10 yrs from date of delivery. now we find mattress giant no longer carries spring air. after contacting spring air to make a claim we were told to measure and if they approve we will be charged $150. for a new one of equal value I am sceptical on what equal value means and furious to know that we will be paying another 150. for a new mattress. We bought the stain guard for additional 99.95 and the special cover for another 70. I have heard and read of other mattress companies that do the same. There must be some laws that protect us from these shoddy sales practices by stores and mattress companies. Any attorneys out there know anything we can do about this? I'd love to hear from you.

I purchased a Spring Air Mattress. Before a year was over it began to sag. We went back to the store and he told us to turn the mattress. We did that and it has not helped besides the fact that there are very odd yellow stains coming thru the top of it. I think its the worst mattress I ever slept on. It feels soft to touch but the sleeping is saggy and the bed can't keep it's white color. We never eat on it or spill anything on it that could cause this. I have white rugs, and I keep everything very clean. there are no kids around either. So I don't know what has done this to the mattress, but it is horrible.

I have to agree.  We bought our matttress in 2005 and have had nothing but back pain since then.  The mattress know has a "valley" in the center and even one person can't sleep on this thing comfortably. Class action law suit sounds good to me.
We contacted the company we bought the bed from and because it has a stain on it they say the warrenty is no good, now get this, because they will not be able to "resell it.  Yes I said resell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
