We purchased a Spring Air Mattress June 13, 2005 from Cajun Brothers in Conway, AR. One of the main reasons we purchased this mattress was the warranty. We noticed that the mattress was sagging (on both sides) where we sleep. Cajun Brothers came to our house, (February 2007), took pictures, measured the sag and sent them to Spring Air.

Spring Air replied that our mattress was not that bad. We needed to rotate the mattress. Not that bad? Is a Spring Air mattress supposes to be comfortable and not sag for 2 years only? That is almost $500.00 a year for a bed. I really do not think this is acceptable. We are very unhappy with this mattress. We are supposed to have a 100% warranty not to be prorated in any way.We have a king size Vienna pillow top.

I sleep on the right side in the summer and my husband on the left. In the winter, we switch. In my opinion, we are rotating the mattress. We are unhappy about the way we have been treated. If a mattress is sagging, IT IS SAGGING. It does not make any difference how much. If something is broken, it is broken. We do not want another Spring Air mattress; another one would probably do the same thing as this one has. We are truthfully tired of the hassle. We have lived with this for a year now its time something was done. We expect a refund from Spring Air.

Spring Air is the worst company. My 13 old son's bed is sagging, he looks lost in the bed.  It started to do that very shortly after we bought it.  I called now and the new owners of Spring Air will not honor the warranty because they filed Bankruptcy. Please, Please, know one buy a Spring Air again.  Our mattress was $ 1500.00. In this hard times, who has the money to replace it. I called the Spring Air in my area, out of MA and they didnt even try to help me.  Please do not buy it. I warn you. I dont know if it feels better knowing, I am not alone or I feel worse because so many people are going through. Dont listen to companies when they say 10 warranty.

Our King Size spring air Four Season Back Supporter Euro top was delivered on Oct. 26, 2011.  On Oct. 28, I went to the Schewels Department which we bought the mattress and told them that the bed was defective. all around the edges of the bed (complete square) sags and sinks if you lay on the bed it is like you will slide off the edge.  On Nov.1 we had representives from the store and Spring Air field rep tell us the bed measures fine and there is nothing wrong.  I told them that the bed sags all around. They would not even lay down on the bed. It is tartign to squeek and make noises now  The Bed is AWFUL and the store rep told when I bought the bed that we could return it if it didn't work.  Now they are all ignorign us... this bed sucks and it and spring air are the biggest rip off in teh mattress industry.... however this bed leans all around the edges.  Our head is always lower than our entire body! No matter how may pillows we put on the bed the bed still sags and sinks..... The center of the bed is higher than the sides. if you sit up, laydown on the bed our back, neck, shoulders ache.  I hate this bed!!!! They simply told us that the bed meets specs and they dont warranty comfort. we are not talkign comfort we are really sayign this bad is week on all sides and is causign us major back pains after less than 10 days.

I really wish we can do a class action lawsuit against sprign air... I believe we need an attorney to represents us.  Are there any lawyers on this blog site who can help us.

Precise Mattress Inspection, Not such a dream job or company to work for.

PMI also works with all major mattress brands and you can expect questionable so called defective results when using this company.

Integrity, no, customer service, no... What I got when I worked for them was harrassment and threates.
I quit this job because I recieved threats if I would not be partial to certain clients over others.

On several occations I was told to approve a mattress for replacement (refrerred to as a defect) for a customer who's mattress was not really defected, but because the customer was friends with the owners or other managment or owners of mattress stores or someone in manufacturing, they foreced inspectors to lie on inspection forms, if we asked questions we could lose our jobs.

On other occations, the owners woudl falsify their own inspection forms for the same reasons, and on at least two occations one of the owners would indicate they were in a city and state doing an inspection, but have the same date of another inspection in another city and state.

On several occations I found the owners inspection reports to be misleading and not in accordance with their own training of inspectors. Poor quality photos, unable to tell if mattress was truely defective or not.

On at least one occation inspectors were forced to not find defects after a certain quota otherwise we would have to pay for the mattresses out of our own pockets.

Still yet, I was told I would be working in a certain geographical area and later was told I had to drive hundreds of miles to do one inspection, costing me wear and tear on my vehicle and gas out of pocket, and they owners would get angry if you spent to much on gas and only give you a gas card which sometimes worked. Other cost we had to pay out of our pockets.

All in all I had to quit this job because of the threats and false claims they forced employees to make on reports and favortism they played. Not exactly integrity and service and deffinatley NOT a Dream Job.

not having exactly the same issue but , have been told on occasion to approve replacent for friend of the owner Randy Schmidt, also have not been paid over 4300 dollars owed, had to quit because no longer could afford gas or repairs on car, which is what they want so they can avoid paying wages, and ignore you completely, unwilling to answer phone or return message when you ask for your money

Bought mattress in 2006 and the sagging are more than 2" now. Company went into bankruptcy and won't honor the warranty. Shame on the bankruptcy court for not protecting us the consumers. Shame on the new company for keeping the same logo and claiming to be in business since 1926. I will never buy anything from this company and will never recommend their products.

I have reported to the BBB on Oasis Bedrooms where we bought our bed in 2008.  They are offering us $500 towards a new bed after we already paid them $2500 for our bed.  Spring Aire is offering a new mattress to be delivered at no charge as long as we buy the new mattress at the manufacturer's cost, about $900.  We can't lay on this bed beforehand and they won't allow it to be returned.  I am beside myself.  Our mattress is now on the floor with out the box springs and this sort of holds it together but my back still spasms in the mornings.

I contacted our local TV station who handles community complaints and they went as high up as they could and could not get any better results for me either.

I refuse to pay any more money to either Oasis Bedrooms or Spring Aire and it seems to me there are enough complaints that a class action suit would be viable.

    sore neck
We have been sleeping on this awful spring air mattress for years and now have neck and back problems.  The sag is incredible.  Hope to be buying a decent mattress and getting a corrective experience from it.  Hope to hear about a class action suit.  Sounds like it's not worth the trouble to pursue a refund or to try to get them to honor the warranty.  Hope my neck and back aren't permanently disfigured.

In 2005 I bought a ComfortFlex mattress only ( no box spring, we had one and Oasis inspected it and approved it ) from Oasis Bedrooms in Mesa AZ. It cost us 1600.00 dollars and came with a 10 year warranty. Now in 2011 after turning it hundreds of times the body indentions are too deep on my side ( I am 6'6" 250 lb and my wife is 5'6" and 125 lb )and even when turning it my wife cant sleep on the side that was mine. The indents on my side are 3"+ deep, So we decided to take on the warranty procedure.

We got out our papers and started to make calls, it seems that,
1, Oasis closed the Mesa location but has other locations,

2, Spring Air ( the manufacturer ) filed for bankruptcy in 2009.

The Spring Air name was purchased by a marketing group and is still making mattress with new privately owned factories. However our 10 warranty ended in October 2009 with no notice from Oasis Bedrooms or SpringAir, ( we registered our mattress on the SpringAir website ).

So we are out of luck and lost six years of warranty service.

The Spring Air International co. is still operating and on their website http://www.springair.com/ under the logo it states " Est 1926 ' they also state in the " About Us"  tab, " With over a millions sold in the last ten years all over the world "  this is were the misleading information is, how can they take credit for the millions sold in the last 10 years which includes my mattress but not honor my warranty.

A call placed to the corp. headquarters ( 617-884-2300 ) Diane Grimard stated that my warranty is with the old company owners and not them. I ask her how the company can state the millions sold which includes mine and not honor any warranty for the products? Her response was to email me the claim information ( you have to petition the court and you will need a lawyer it states ).

Sounds like they want to have the cake and eat it too....After that call the SpringAir has taken down sections of their website, is this a result of my call?

Oasis said that they feel bad for all the SpingAir customers that they sold mattress too and are here to help them ........... They told me that they will sell me a new mattress with a really helpful discount, LOL, I will not spend a dime again at Oasis Bedrooms and nor will anyone in my family or friends.

As far as SpringAir is concerned if you bought before Oct 2009 your warrenty is dead....Yes I have forwarded all my info to an attorney to look over all the bankruptcy info and the copy of the website that I obtained before SpringAir took it down...

Warranties on products are given by the manufacturers of that product, not by the retailer.  That's silly to hold the retailer in contempt for the poor business decisions of a manufacturer.

yes, mine sags in the middle, I have to throw my legs up and over to get out of bed. I have a tumor on my spinal cord and the stupid doctor cut my spinal cord. Not a good combination. I bought mine at Sleep King in N Charleston, S.C. They come out twice. It took them over two months dragging their feet to tell me no. I have a 10 year warranty too. I called the number, they didn't answer nor call me back. Don't buy Spring Air or buy from Sleep King.

    get real
Here's a suggestion for people demanding refunds:  Go back to the retail store where you paid money or used a credit card to make a purchase. Ask *the retail store*- meaning the store you gave your money to--- for your refund. You are the retail store's customer- they are the ones who took your money, gave you a sales pitch (some of which might not always be true, I'm learning) and in turn, they made a large profit off your purchase. If you ask a manufacturer to refund the wholesale cost they were paid by the retailer and find out how much it was marked up for retail sale, then you will really be ticked off !

Sorry for the rant, but there are some of the most ridiculous statements on these boards its difficult to read through all the exaggerated crap trying to find any real credible information! Holy cow!

I cannot believe what I am reading.  Our story is the same.  After only a few months, this Spring Air mattress has sagged so much I wake up with horrible pain in my back and hips.  I cannot sit on the edge of the bed without sliding off! (no support whatsoever).  There is a large lump/hump near my legs and a huge mountain right down the middle.  My husband weighs 200 and I weigh 140, not exactly morbidly obese.  We religiously spun the mattress every two weeks in the beginning few months and continue to do so occasionally and obviously, this did not prevent sagging.  Should I even try to get any results from the company??  Seems futile.  For now, I will sleep in my son's bed while he is away at college. What a ripoff!!  I should have kept my 15-year-old mattress - it was more comfortable.

I too have had the same trouble...Where do I sign up for this class action???I have been suffering with replacement hips and a bad back and thought this bed would help....after the pain pills wore off I thought it was just the surgery pain. But after almost 10 years this bed is HELL ON EARTH...I guess I'll just have to buy a new bed...I've got a request on facebook for my friends to give me some ideas as to their opinions.M

I purchased this spring air mattress in 2003.  Only 4yes after purchase it was sagging, even after rotating on a regular.  Since it had a ten year warranty I called the store I bought it from.  They informed be I could only get an exchange if nine didn't have a stain.  So they came and checked it and replaced it with a new one.  It has only been 5 years and it is worse now than before, only thing is the store where I purchased it is out of business so what am I to do because according to manufacturing warranty I still have give years.  I need help and a good nights sleep.
