AIRLINE BOOKING SCAM

CHEAPOAIR.COM is definitely a very poor company and I strongly urge ANYONE reading this to NOT use there "service".
On July 9th I went to CheapOair.com to purchase a ticket and was provided with a Reservation ID and a booking number. Now, I also went directly to the airline's website to verify the prices, and they were accurate, BUT Cheapoair was offering a $10 instant coupon so I figured I would purchase the ticket through them and not directly with the airline itself.
A few hours go by and I did not receive my ticket so I called them. I was on hold for 15 minutes and then was "disconnected". I then called back and after another 30 minutes was told by a representative that they were "processing' it and I should have a ticket shortly. A few hours later I call back. I waited 30 minutes on hold and once the representative asked me "do you really need a morning flight"? At this point, I'm thinking something is obviously wrong. Apparently, they were unable to offer me the ticket that I had purchased and booked. I requested to speak to a manager and was transferred to SHAW. He would not provide a last name. He basically kept giving the run around and tried to continuously blame the airlines. I told him that if I had NOT used the CheapOAir service and directly booked with the airline that I would have had a ticket so what reason do I have to use his service ever again if they can't provide what they advertise and promote? He did not have an answer. I made him give me a written confirmation that I would not be charged. I also requested the name of a superior. He declined to give me any names so that I could formally complain and told me to send a generic email to their feedback@cheapair.com. I gave him ample notice that I was going to post my story anywhere I could to warn other consumers that this website does not provide the services it charges to the customer!!!!!!

I recieved confirmation straight away through e-mail and was able to log straight on to Virgin and see my confirmed flights. The payment on my bank statement clearly shows it was made to Virgin.
I will definately use them again without hesitation.
The cheapoair.ca has worse customer service. I bought two tickets from them and was told that they will price match the fare. I was glad to see the offer. The price dropped. I called them and got no response. Eventually I got them but was on hold for long time and then the call dropped. I called them again after few days and made a request to the Supervisor. He tried to convince me that they match only Expedia. and if I see price drop, give them a call and they will do it for me. I checked Expedia and the price was dropped 100 dollars per ticket. When I called them again, I was told that the supervisor is not over there and he will call me within 12 hrs.
The supervisor called me after 15 hrs and he was very annoy with me that why I called them again. I requested for price match. The answer was negative. Then I asked for cancellation, I was told that I have to pay 270 dollars for the cancellation.
Some time I wonder that in this fast paced, educated environment how these people are running their business. May be they misguide new customers. I believe that those who had experience with this company will never return to them.
Could some one tell what is the best solution to deal with them? bcz they do not price match and asking 270 for cancellation

Ahmad

Most if not all of these (so called) remedied things are just "ringers" from cheapoair trying to keep people reading the compaint's that they work hard to rectify any wrong's. The complaint's are REAL! Nothing is ever refunded or changed, just charged more and NEVER any refunds given back. Charged for booking never made etc. charged more than what was stated or screwed your flights up.....they couldn't give a rip.
this is the truth, people!
This is a scam outfit that seems to get away with this thieving from people.....I would suggest anyone who has looked at tickets through their site and input credit infor to emmediatly cancel your card and get a new one fast because sooner or later they will hit it and never give anything back...end!

I also have a complaint ! In my case they had answered really quick, however the price that I saw on the web, where it was written that they have 3 more tickets , they've told me that this price has gone and the new price for the same ticket is 180$ more then I saw on their website. So I refreshed my page and still had the lower price then they were talking about as a minimal one. They had nothing to answer on this issue, but "I'm sorry, this is the lowest price that we have" (which was way above the price that I saw on their website).
CHEAPOAIR IS A SCAM.NEVER BOOK WITH THEM
