CHEAPOAIR.COM is definitely a very poor company and I strongly urge ANYONE reading this to NOT use there "service".

On July 9th I went to CheapOair.com to purchase a ticket and was provided with a Reservation ID and a booking number. Now, I also went directly to the airline's website to verify the prices, and they were accurate, BUT Cheapoair was offering a $10 instant coupon so I figured I would purchase the ticket through them and not directly with the airline itself.

A few hours go by and I did not receive my ticket so I called them. I was on hold for 15 minutes and then was "disconnected". I then called back and after another 30 minutes was told by a representative that they were "processing' it and I should have a ticket shortly. A few hours later I call back. I waited 30 minutes on hold and once the representative asked me "do you really need a morning flight"? At this point, I'm thinking something is obviously wrong. Apparently, they were unable to offer me the ticket that I had purchased and booked. I requested to speak to a manager and was transferred to SHAW. He would not provide a last name. He basically kept giving the run around and tried to continuously blame the airlines. I told him that if I had NOT used the CheapOAir service and directly booked with the airline that I would have had a ticket so what reason do I have to use his service ever again if they can't provide what they advertise and promote? He did not have an answer. I made him give me a written confirmation that I would not be charged. I also requested the name of a superior. He declined to give me any names so that I could formally complain and told me to send a generic email to their feedback@cheapair.com. I gave him ample notice that I was going to post my story anywhere I could to warn other consumers that this website does not provide the services it charges to the customer!!!!!!

Wow. Wish I would have read these stories before I booked with cheapoair. Identical story to everyone above me...its baffling that they still scam people like this.
I booked a flight and suddenly I received an email stating that "the airline" changed my flight to including a 32 hour layover in Colorado. I was told that a refund would be requested from the airline, then after pressing the matter they referred me to the insurance company that was handling my tickets. Needless to say...i never received a call back and the insurance was unable to reimburse for this reason. After several days I called back and demanded something be done to fix my flight back to what myself and cheapoair had agreed upon. The only options they had were to charge me a couple hundred extra dollars to maintain our original agreement.
    STAY AWAY FROM CHEAPOAIR

i have used this company for years and I travel at least four times a year.  They have always been reliable one hundred percent for me and that includes when i have called back due to my own errors or not adding in my frequent flier number etc.  They have always been courteous and helpful.  So I cannot join your party bashing here.  I see no scams but if you believe you are scammed then keep it to yourself and find another person to work with.

I was trying to do a simple name addition to my flight and was given a fraudulent email address to do the change. Now I'm stuck with a ticket that I can't use and have no idea what to do about it.

Cheapo Air never states their model in their ads, ever noticed that? They just say, go ahead, be cheap.

I've bought a number of tickets thru them without a serious problem. But if you make a change there is a Large fee.  Better to buy direct from airline because you only have one ticket number, I cheaper change fees, I etc. but I would still use them if I am doing trips in multiple airlines. You can shop the combinations at one website

    Never use the Cheapoair company
The giftcard my sister purchased for me was $300 and due to BS loopholes, this company wont let me use it. The money is in limbo. Five minutes after I realized that I was charged a full amount, I was on the phone for hours trying to get someone to help fix it. Nobody was helpful and it was a lot of waiting around for nothing to change. Ended us cancelling the ticket (paying a fee!!!!) and booking on Student Universe. I highly recommend any other booking site. This company is chock full of scam artists.

Got e-mail confirmation of booking with a ref # on Aug 8, 11.11 pm - 3 days letter another e-mail - saying, that fare is not available to call - I call and hear 'the Cr. Card was not validated" - No airline gives a confirmation without the Credit Card Validation - any mistake the card is rejected.- CheapO Air offered the fare while they did not have one- to offer something to sell which you do not have and which you cannot procure 100% as promised is called FRAUDulent offer.
