CHEAPOAIR.COM is definitely a very poor company and I strongly urge ANYONE reading this to NOT use there "service".

On July 9th I went to CheapOair.com to purchase a ticket and was provided with a Reservation ID and a booking number. Now, I also went directly to the airline's website to verify the prices, and they were accurate, BUT Cheapoair was offering a $10 instant coupon so I figured I would purchase the ticket through them and not directly with the airline itself.

A few hours go by and I did not receive my ticket so I called them. I was on hold for 15 minutes and then was "disconnected". I then called back and after another 30 minutes was told by a representative that they were "processing' it and I should have a ticket shortly. A few hours later I call back. I waited 30 minutes on hold and once the representative asked me "do you really need a morning flight"? At this point, I'm thinking something is obviously wrong. Apparently, they were unable to offer me the ticket that I had purchased and booked. I requested to speak to a manager and was transferred to SHAW. He would not provide a last name. He basically kept giving the run around and tried to continuously blame the airlines. I told him that if I had NOT used the CheapOAir service and directly booked with the airline that I would have had a ticket so what reason do I have to use his service ever again if they can't provide what they advertise and promote? He did not have an answer. I made him give me a written confirmation that I would not be charged. I also requested the name of a superior. He declined to give me any names so that I could formally complain and told me to send a generic email to their feedback@cheapair.com. I gave him ample notice that I was going to post my story anywhere I could to warn other consumers that this website does not provide the services it charges to the customer!!!!!!

Dear Haycocks, very sorry for the inconvenience the airline has caused you. They have had changes in their flight schedules which is very common with all airlines. They had no other option for you other  than to refund your money so that you can rebook something more suitable. Therefore the money will be refunded back to you directly by the airline, and not CheapOair. We are not the end provider and have no control over the airlines operations. It is our experience that the refund will be sooner than 2 months, but unfortunately refunds from the airline is not like a refund in a store. Our apologies for the inconvenience!

I booked a flight for myself and my children for a trip we've been planning for over a year. I booked the flight weeks ago, I didn't receive a confirmation email from them but I've been so busy with work and my kids that I didn't check again until this morning, again no confirmation email from them. The only thing I could recall was the airline and time of departure so I called Alaskan and they were able to find me in their system and confirmed my ticket, while I was on the line I asked them to confirm my children's tickets as well, well they had their birthdays correct but their names were wrong, not only were they wrong but they were names that would have no way of being entered by me, I gave them the correct names and was told that they couldn't change the names and suggested that I call cheapoair to have them straighten it out. Called cheapoair, had to explain three times what happened until the fourth rep finally acted as though he could help, he placed me on the shortest hold only to come back on the line and say, sorry there's nothing we can do. WHAT? Somehow your company puts names in that make no sense but you can't fix it? So I'm out $1300? I went off, didn't curse but was pretty upset, but he just kept saying the same thing, I eventually hung up on him in frustration. About an hour later, after I had myself in meltdown mode (I'm overly emotional, and money or lack of it is a major anxiety trigger for me) I decided to call Alaskan again and beg them to change the names, if the names belonged to someone I knew I would have given them the tickets, but these names basically made the tickets void since they were not names of anyone I know, she placed me on hold, came back and said again that they can't change the names but they would put a request for a refund it and to expect that to take 7 to 10 business days, sigh! I checked flights again and everything is $100 more now that it's getting closer to the date of our trip, and without that $ from the originally tickets I just cannot afford to purchase new ones at this time, they're customer service is appalling and they take absolutely no responsibility for messing this up to begin with, how can they input different names and not be responsible to fix their error? Why should I have to pay for their mistake?

Ruthie, my apologies for the inconvenience and service you experienced. Please forward the 8 digit booking number so that we can better assist you. The information you gave is very confusing due to the fact that we don't touch the reservations that are made online, it's automated, and we would have no reason to change any information on a reservation, so everything that is inputted into the booking process is exactly how it comes out on the reservation, so we definately need your booking details. Please email to sm@cheapoair.com, and include a copy of this complaint.

Just booked 2 tickets with these scam artists and would advise anybody to steer clear as they have taken an extra £34 from my debit card that they had no authority to do, totally disgusted with their attitude to sort this problem out.

CheapoAir is following deceptive practices.  I asked that CheapOAir email me fares to my email account.  I can an email from CheapoAir TPA -> BDL $203 round trip and it had my date of travel included.  I jumped at it unfortunately that fare did not exist.
Talk about "Bait and switch".  Also there Customer Service is rude.  When I asked the CheapoAir representative to help me find a cheap fare leaving TPA to New England he acted like he never heard of New England.. TOLD ME to pick a City.  What kind of Travel business is this..  STAY AWAY

I booked a flight on Thursday Sept 1st and from what i seen on the website I could cancel within 24 hrs. A couple of hours later, I tried to cancel on the website, after a while I get a message saying I couple only cancel by phone! I couldn't get anyone one on the phone that could help me (i don't understand why not) so i keep calling and calling with these convenient disconnects. So finally today of course now that its too late to cancel, what do you know? The guy on the phone could actually help me but instead of letting me explain what has been going on, he rudely stated that there isn't anything that I could do and that I couldn't get a refund or pounts toward my tickets! I'm a navy veteran and my husband is active duty. Is orders changed last minute so during the time we were going to visit him, he would actually be gone! I keep seeing the CEP waivers but of course no one is helping with that either. So i guess my children and i will be stranded on this unwanted trip due to this scam. Thanks cheapoair, now i know.

I get to the airport only to be told my flight was sent out the day before(a change that I was not informed and obviously did not agree too).... called CheapOair for some kind of assistance,  they go ahead and send me a confirmation email for a flight change only to be told by the airline that its not valid..... after hours on the phone talking to the airlines and the rip offs I'm told to return the next day...... next day I decide to call before heading to the airport these thevies have the heart to say because I did not show up for the change they can't help me.... mind you a change that I was never informed about! seriously..... have been on the phone for the past week trying to get my money and these ppl are not helping ...... I never got on a flight and I still don't have my money! CheapOair are a set of crooks and thevies..... but believe you me the God I serve does not sleep! I will get my money!

I am really upset about evrything with this website. Worst experience ever, I got ticket for march 2017 and I just want to change the departure day change and they gave a really hard time and they told me for exchange I have to pay and they add my name is wrong how possibly I can buy 2 ticket one with right name and then second one I put the last name instead of first name???? And I have to pay more than the ticket price for name correction and exchange date??? Should I be crazy to do that. Just a really bad customer service and best part is I bought the ticket on july 2016 and I got respond back in January 2017 what a customer service?? I really try to find a corprate number

    TOP BOOKING SITE
    http://www.advisoryhq.com/articles/best-fligh ... es-for-flights/

    1. The ability to review multiple airlines. Part of what makes using flight booking sites so advantageous is that they allow users to review multiple airlines all at once. Rather than choose one single airline, the best website to book flights will provide a variety of options and airlines.

    2. Better customer service. In some cases, using flight booking sites can also result in quicker—and better—customer service. These companies typically have faster response times than major airlines. Of course, this varies from one site to the next, so finding the best website for flights is important from a customer service perspective.

    3. Flexible travel date airfare searches. Travelers can potentially save hundreds of dollars by arriving or departing a day or two earlier. Some of the best sites for cheap flights allow for flexible travel date airfare searches. A few of them even allow the ability to search 330 days ahead of schedule to find the cheapest options.

I was double charged for the same flight and same seats reservation. They said I would get my refund in 7 to 10 days. It has been 18 days and now they say up to 60 days. My bank will get my money back. Don't deal with Cheapoair.

bought the 2 tickets, they sent confirmation email to my wife's email address, which we never received (?junk email box).  Come to find out, google chrome auto filled in my middle name into my wife's middle name line of her ticket. we called to fix this and they gave us the option of $100 fee to refund me, or $100 to fix this mistake. Very disappointed. ethan17508@hotmail.com
