CHEAPOAIR.COM is definitely a very poor company and I strongly urge ANYONE reading this to NOT use there "service".

On July 9th I went to CheapOair.com to purchase a ticket and was provided with a Reservation ID and a booking number. Now, I also went directly to the airline's website to verify the prices, and they were accurate, BUT Cheapoair was offering a $10 instant coupon so I figured I would purchase the ticket through them and not directly with the airline itself.

A few hours go by and I did not receive my ticket so I called them. I was on hold for 15 minutes and then was "disconnected". I then called back and after another 30 minutes was told by a representative that they were "processing' it and I should have a ticket shortly. A few hours later I call back. I waited 30 minutes on hold and once the representative asked me "do you really need a morning flight"? At this point, I'm thinking something is obviously wrong. Apparently, they were unable to offer me the ticket that I had purchased and booked. I requested to speak to a manager and was transferred to SHAW. He would not provide a last name. He basically kept giving the run around and tried to continuously blame the airlines. I told him that if I had NOT used the CheapOAir service and directly booked with the airline that I would have had a ticket so what reason do I have to use his service ever again if they can't provide what they advertise and promote? He did not have an answer. I made him give me a written confirmation that I would not be charged. I also requested the name of a superior. He declined to give me any names so that I could formally complain and told me to send a generic email to their feedback@cheapair.com. I gave him ample notice that I was going to post my story anywhere I could to warn other consumers that this website does not provide the services it charges to the customer!!!!!!

CheapOair also put TWO extra **unauthorized** charges on my credit card account, over an beyond the charge for my ticket. This practice is also known as FRAUD. My credit card company attempted to call them on multiple occasions and the line was consistently busy with each attempt. This is a TERRIBLE company that commits CREDIT CARD FRAUD. I wish I had known before I used them.

I had to Google this thread after my experience. I ran into their website and I was amazed with the fairs they offer. I looked at all the fights for me and my wife and decided to to call to talk to a live person to see if it is legit because the total price was around $3700.00. The website broke down the prices from base price to plus tax price. When the agent answered I explained to him which flight numbers I wanted and the price. First he could not book the flight for me and the reason why it was an error from the airlines themselves. Second, the prices he was giving were different from the prices I was looking at on my computer. He kept asking (where do you see this Price at?) I told him on your website right now.  There is something shady about this business so please be aware.

Cheapo air offered a terrible service. They misrepresented airline instructions and entered false birthdates on a reservation, indicated that the reservation needed confirmation and then charged double for the flight. They were discourteous and argumentative. They lied about a refund settlement. Beware, beware, beware!

Dear Traveler, please contact me with your booking number and I will certainly look into your refund.  I also want to research your concern about the birthdates.  When the customer makes the booking online, the website takes the information exactly from what was entered, so I'm curious as to what this is about. Please email me your booking number, and place blog in the subject line.

Cheapoair charges $23 to assign seats without asking for your clear permission; assigning seats is free on airline websites. Cheapoair charges $98 for cancelation fee for trip you booked 2min ago. Cheapoair customer service guy talks worst than DMV. Even the price is not that bad; I am still regret booking from the site.

CheapOair is literally the worst company i have ever dealt with.My husband and I planned to go on a vacation, purchased tickets and flight insurance in case an emergency came up. Well I could not travel. I called to get my refund and dealt with the rudest customer service ever Incedible long wait times when you call, min 20 minutes each time you called them.they are liers they say call directly the air line company a nd air line company say call who sell you the tikets(chepoair) in other word they will never try to help you .The customer service rep offered to put my ticket as "future credit" which is of no use for us. We are in great trouble and loan. They almost ate our $1,380.

I would like to bring to notice to Cheap o air head that if you people continue like this you will be no where

We are currently working with the airline regarding the refund. One of the airlines has denied the refund due to the reason for cancellation was not under their guidelines. We do understand the inconvenience and do work with the customer and the airline to have a positive outcome. However, ultimately the decision is based on the airlines approval, and this is still be reviewed.

I had my worst experience booking with this "company"
They charged me more than it was the tickets and I didn't  get my promo discount. They charged my credit card 150$ more saying that is exchange fee from US $ to CAD.
Don't book with them It is a rip off!
