CHEAPOAIR.COM is definitely a very poor company and I strongly urge ANYONE reading this to NOT use there "service".
On July 9th I went to CheapOair.com to purchase a ticket and was provided with a Reservation ID and a booking number. Now, I also went directly to the airline's website to verify the prices, and they were accurate, BUT Cheapoair was offering a $10 instant coupon so I figured I would purchase the ticket through them and not directly with the airline itself.
A few hours go by and I did not receive my ticket so I called them. I was on hold for 15 minutes and then was "disconnected". I then called back and after another 30 minutes was told by a representative that they were "processing' it and I should have a ticket shortly. A few hours later I call back. I waited 30 minutes on hold and once the representative asked me "do you really need a morning flight"? At this point, I'm thinking something is obviously wrong. Apparently, they were unable to offer me the ticket that I had purchased and booked. I requested to speak to a manager and was transferred to SHAW. He would not provide a last name. He basically kept giving the run around and tried to continuously blame the airlines. I told him that if I had NOT used the CheapOAir service and directly booked with the airline that I would have had a ticket so what reason do I have to use his service ever again if they can't provide what they advertise and promote? He did not have an answer. I made him give me a written confirmation that I would not be charged. I also requested the name of a superior. He declined to give me any names so that I could formally complain and told me to send a generic email to their feedback@cheapair.com. I gave him ample notice that I was going to post my story anywhere I could to warn other consumers that this website does not provide the services it charges to the customer!!!!!!

- I am still on hold (27 min) still on my first call ever to cheapoair.
- I was trying to choose a seat online. Message says that my booking reservation is not complete yet and if the price increases within the confirmation time. I will have the right to cancel booking (I hope it FREE). But the issue here is that I think Cheapoair hold customers reservation and money and in case of a price increase they sell the ticket to higher bidders. I am as a customer is the victim of your illegal practice of " Confirming the reservation"
its a win win situation for Cheapoair, and dooming experience for the customer
Cheapoair is NOT cheap either after all, Cheapoair can offer $10-$50 less than others but with the bidding practice, that's only a small cut
35 minutes and I am still on hold, Hire more employees for sure as a start

I've never heard of this practice. When asked to be re-directed to the United States, the representative in India told her there is no U.S contact-- nobody to talk to, just a NY City address. I think this company is running a scam. Reading all the comments, I am convinced these folks are a running a scam. I wonder how many people paid far a coach seat and full fare...
They charged me more for an isle seat that i never got, said to get my refund from blah blah blah! but blah blah blah doesn't
exist so good luck getting any refund. they wont give you a number in the U.S. I heard a guy giggling as he put his hand over
his headset when I complained about being put on hold for 35 mins.
They are a scam! they're damn good at it, it's partially our fault for falling for them. but I too saw them reccomended by
other travel sites so i didn't look for customer complaints first. My mistake!
After 2 hours of phone calls they give me a NY phone number they say is corporate customer service. I called it and guess what?
It went to INDIA again.

I got this outta some dirt floor dwelling [***] but I fully expect it to be a hot dog stand in Times Square.

After about 5-6 phones calls and then contacting the airlines 3-4 times each.
I've called you about 5-6 times each time a getting on hold and then reconnected to another agent or being hung up/disconnected on my final two calls I talked to supervisors that tell me they can't do anything but told me call the airlines to get them to offer me reprotection. It is not your agents fault but YOU are my travel agent I am going to call again and it is your responsibility to get me another flight I booked though cheapoair i had no warning any of this was going to happen I have every email from you that this flight was confirmed. I don't care who's miscommunication it was yours/ or the airlines but I have been the one suffering being stuck here unable to get on my trip which I had book a few thousand dollars of events and flights in Vietnam that I am now losing/trying to recover due to an error from YOU. You need to be calling the airlines for my reprotection or get me another flight yourself it is your responsibility. I will be calling again today because I am pretty sure at this point none of your agents will be contacting me I have been getting runaround from you and the airlines the last 24 hours if I don't get resolution today I will be contacting an attorney.
This company completely ruined my holiday and in the end said they are not willing to help me except process a refund. That hasn't hit my account yet though it only has been 24 hours. But I was planning a trip with Girlfriend in Vietnam and I was planning on proposing to all except now. She is in Vietnam as she made it there a week earlier and i am stuck in the states.

BIG CHEATERS and LIERS . SHOULD NEVER NEVER NEVER USE their service. I am wondering any way to do a legal action against their fraud? whom we can complain?
they should not be left this way. should punish them.
