This situation is miserable.  They continue to call after repeatedly being asked to stop, as well as being informed there is NO INTEREST in their information.  I agree with others.  A good approach, if you have
the patience for it is to continue to waste their time.  Does it cost anything if the "1" is pressed  to waiti for the live person to come on line?  Also I wonder if something can be done about the fact that the caller ID
displayed is actually the number of a local doctor's office?  Should that be reported to anyone?

I can't believe this can happen and there scams go on and on for years. They called my phone and started asking them many of questions, as to, what card services do you belong to, why would I go with you, I have 0% now, he called me every name in the book, told me to suck his you know what! I told him I was going to call the police and he waited, actually waited on the line, I called 3 way to my police department, guess I didn't do it right, they said they didn't hear any of it. The caller kept calling back talking all kinds of crap! I then answered the last call and connected him to our police department, he didn't say a word, hung up, I gave them the numbers and called them back as well and they were busy signal now, they must of blocked me.  How can they get a way with this, they are obviously not from the States! It sickens me!

Robo-dialing “cardholder services” are U.S. based criminal operations. They are switching off between domestic and foreign “fronters” = live operators. Florida's has a joke of a “telemarketing license” where in they are supposed to be bonded and registered Inc/LLC.
      http://www.freshfromflorida.com/Divisions-Off ... s/Telemarketing
Apparently using NON-licensed telemarketers is another violation, whether they follow any laws or not.
You can sometimes find the “fronter, closer, qualifier employment” ads on Craig list, so those are domestic call centers. The “job ads” are for downtown Orlando, Maitland, Apopka, Altamonte Springs, Wekiva Springs, Florida.
When the authorities jump on the domestics, the foreign boiler-rooms start in, but they are still “working” for U.S. based criminal operations. Then back to the domestic boiler-rooms they go, when the foreign rooms get reported

this company is still harassing people. I would think the best thing is to refrain from ever answering their call. They have harassed everybody in the NE KS area. They have made the news here as they have called a lot of pd officers. They will have some access to your personal information, which apparently they purchase or steal from other sites. I would call all my cc providers and they can add additional security to your accounts.

When they call, it actually shows up as MY landline number calling itself. Like everyone else has already stated, they just hang up when you say that the number is on the do not call list- which is a waste considering I get at least 20 calls a day from various scammers.

I am receiving a new message from the daily one I used to receive.  Lately it has been "Bridget from Card Member Services calling every day at about 3:00 p.m.  Most of the time I just don't answer but sometimes when I am expecting a call I pick up without checking first.  Imagine that keeps me on the list.

Called my cellphone, rang once, they hung up. No idea who they are or what they wanted.  A friend of mine told me that when I get calls I don't recognize or want, to press the # key numerous times, that takes my number out of their system.  I've done that - it seemed to cut down on the calls a lot.

Just had another call from these people, and when I asked them politely to take me off their list, the man at the other end said "F*&k you," and hung up.

I answer them EVERYDAY.  Click 1 and go through the speel.  I have asked them to take me off their mailing list multiple times.   They never do.  I have forwarded their phone to local radio stations, newspapers, etc just for fun.  I keep their numbers so that I forward their call to the number they called me with yesterday, last week, etc.  Lately, I have seen how long I can keep the representative on the phone before they figure out that I am not interested.  Yesterday I got to 6:27 seconds before the guy figured out that the credit card number I gave him was bogus.  I play with them.  A couple have called me 'f' ing idiot.  But heh, take me off your mailing list this wouldn't happen.  I have blocked multiple numbers with my phone company but their numbers always change.  They come back.
