I am getting attacked with call from this company again, this has to be the 3rd or 4th round of calls in the last year. I'm on the do not call list and of course pressing 1 to get a live voice to tell them to take you off the list doesn't work, I've tried that route too many times. I'm getting myself a nice loud whistle and I'm going to blast it at whoever answers the "Press 1 to find out more" every time they call. I bet I get taken off that list!

After multiple requests to be removed from their calling list and being harassed to the end of my limit, I decided to press 1, stay on the line until someone answered, then I let out a blood curdling scream (that unfortunately gave me a sore throat).  They hung up and the calls stopped only for a couple of weeks.  They have started up again as bad as ever all day long every day.  Why can't something be done about this?  Why would they continue to harass you when you are not the least bit interested?  I think I'll try something louder than my scream and not to hurt me in the effort!  Hope your whistle works, maybe one of those Bullhorns, that people take to sporting events.  :)

After reading more posts on this site, I see that others have the same idea to use an Air Horn (I called it a Bullhorn.  What do I know? I couldn't remember what they were called.  I am old and senile. :) )  We should all ban together and give them "what for" with our "Air Horns"!!!!  What say you?  Go Team!  Beat Rachel at Card Member Services!  Rah! Rah! Rah!

What a great idea!  A regular whistle is really loud and shrill and should do the job.  I get calls from these people every day, and since I don't have caller ID I just let it ring, and of course they don't leave a message, they just hang up.  I've tried telling them to remove me from their call list, and of course, that doesn't work, because these people are not from a legitimate business - they are scamming crooks trying to get your credit card member.  They seem unstoppable.  Next time, I'm going to answer the phone and blow a whistle in their ear!!

Blowing the whistle or sounding the horn will make you feel better, but will not end the calls.  They hang up as soon as they realize you are not a prospect and go to the next call on their screen.  What kind of people are working for this company?   How could you as an employee continue to sound friendly when you know you are working for a scam company and causing frustration and anger across the country.
Anyone know of someone who works there???

The loud whistle that you (and others) have proposed is not particularly effective. Phone systems generally have both a volume limiter and a high frequency cutoff filter built in to their lines, so the whistle, as heard at the other end, is annoying but not as shrill or loud as you would hope.

I got another of their calls a few minutes ago and also did the "blood-curdling scream" -- and also have a very sore throat now, as well as some frightened cats in the house.  Obviously, the National Do Not Call Registry is nothing more than a placebo to make people feel better while having no actual power.  Doubtful if the scream was effective; will see what happens over the next couple of weeks.

I tried this too....and he just screamed back along with me.  LOL.  Too funny but boy is this really aggravating.  Don't know what the point of a "do no call" list if they call anyway.  And how do you lodge a complaint if you don't have caller ID to know the phone number?  And do you really think we know the name of the business that calls us?

Well how did the scream work.  Rachael calls me 3-4 times a day, ever since I got into a threatening match with one of their home-boys that were answering the phone.  I also am registered with the "do not call joke"

I just got another of those annoying calls.  Last week I bought one of those air horn things and when I pushed 1 and the girl answered I let loose.  I am sure it won't stop it but boy did it make me smile.  I am also trying vulgar words.  I hope they call and report me about that too!  I think the government has to do something.  Pretty soon they could be sitting on our front porches.

I get these pesky calls all the time. In fact they're almost the only calls I do get, so if it's evening or on a weekend or some other time that's unlikely I'll be getting any genuine calls, what I do is first engage the guy in a long stupid discussion, then when he wants to know my credit card expiration date or whatever I tell him my card's in another room and ask if he'll hang on till I find it. Then I put the phone down and go off to do other things for a while. This afternoon to my surprise when I came back after about 10 minutes he was still on the line waiting, so I told him I couldn't find the card yet and it must be upstairs. He said he'd hold on and I put the phone down and went off again. Eventually when I came back he had hung up. Doing this repeatedly may not stop the calls but it gives me a certain satisfaction.

I've long ago learned that you can't get any actual information from them such as what company they represent -- ask anything like this and they just promptly hang up.

That is fun but you will regret it! I think they enter your number in the system again when you do that so you get more calls.I am up to 4 a day

Yep, after I screamed along with him screaming at the same time, they called back in approx 2 hours.  Talk about harassment?  So I will either get a whistle, or just say absolutely nothing to waste their time just like they are wasting mine.

Blast the guys with a air horn. Like the ones you can buy for sports events. Get them on the phone and then blast them.

why can't these loosers be stopped? they've called me 20 times. why would they keep calling me when I make it very clear to them that I want nothing to do with them? They seem to be more interested in harassment then selling something. all these complaints and none can stop them.

Obviously, they are not 'losers'.  Their company knows that a certain percentage of their calls results in a sale of whatever they are selling.....the more calls they make, the more they sell.  By the way, does anyone know what they are senning???
