This company at 845-770-0061 keeps calling my cell requesting to verify my name and my address. I asked who they are and why do they want my address. They tell me they want to send a business proposal to me, yet they refuse to give me the name of their company. I looked up the reverse phone number and found the name Paetec Communication in Nyack,New York. I contacted their parent office at 845-675-4485 and STILL nothing has been resolved. I am also on the do not call list and their reply was it does NOT affect us!!! These calls are annoying and upsetting. I told them I am NOT interested and to remove my number at once. I have ALL the phone records on my cell and would appreciate a stop to this harrassment.

    1-646-432-6836 calls leaves a message that it is steve with the Irs and he is nothing me of a pending law suit and it will be going to the county clerks soon, to call them back.
    Of course I called back as I was in the legal field just to hear the pitch. Steve answers IRS
    I asked what office of IRS HE SAID NY, I said hmmmm that's interesting, and then he says what do you meant by that remark and hung up on me.  Beware some scam probably to frighten elderly people.

    Received a message from Officer Greer saying she was from the IRS.  I was supposed to respond immediately because I was being charged with Tax Fraud.  Called the number, 703-651-1574, which I called the operator to find out where the call originated.  It came from Dulles, Virginia.  Called the number, got a recording saying this was the office of Alice Cole.  No-one has returned the call and I checked with the IRS people and they said it was bogus.  If there is a problem, the IRS stated, they would contact me in writing first.
    Watch out.  This is another scam.

    I'm getting calls from Davidson North Carolina. I never EVER give out my number unless it's family. I have no debt or any back payments on anything! There calling me from a Paetec Communications in Davidson. I just seriously don't understand what there problem is.

    I received a call from "MAX" who is supposed to be with Immigration in Flordia. He told me I could get my naturalization  citizenship for $150.00 He ask for a credit card, but I only gave him a debit card to my Bank.  I then filled out the application on line and when I was finished, I was told to send $680.00 more go get the application processed.  I have turned it over to the Attorney General's Office and stopped payment on my Debit card.  I can't believe how people try to take advantage of Senior Citizens.

    I am getting calls from this number (973) 852-4473 PAETEC Communications is what the reverse phone lookup tells me. They are located in NJ, or at least that is the information I got.

    Now 6 years later in 2015, these fools from PAETEC Communications are still at it.  Every once in a while they run into someone
    gullible enough to send them money.  Mine comes from St. Petersburg Fla and is a Credit card recording.
    I believe they sell a "client list" of phone numbers along with instructions on how to scam to people who do want to get rich quick..  They pay for a line thu Paetic and sit home and go to work.
    You can't tell me that in this world of High Tech communications, the law can't find these losers and prosecute.  Just no profit in it.

    631-870-1612 IS PAETEC COMMUNICATIONS LOCATED IN CENTRAL ISLIP NY, SUFFOLK COUNTY, THEY CALL HANG UP, THEY CALL 2-3 TIMES A DAY NO MESSAGES. THEY CALL AT NIGHT TOO. TIRED OF IT. THESE CALLS STARTED OUT OF THE BLUE TO MY HOME LINE. I WILL TRY TO BLOCK IT. I WILL NOT CALL THEM BACK, DO NOT NEED THE FRUSTRATION. KNOW MY RIGHTS AND I ONCE WAS A DEBT COLLECTOR AND SKIP TRACER.

    Keep getting calls saying this is ur ref number had complaints you need to call has my address keeps calling my daughters cell phone and mine I am with a debt collecter who I pay once a month why do they keep calling me never have received anything in mail

    I just received a call from a local number 757-204-3208.  I did reverse search and it came back as "Paetec Communications Landline in Norfolk, VA".  The lady asked for me by name and said that she was from the Lincoln warranty group or whatever. I own a Lincoln that is not even 2 years old yet so I still have a significant amount of time left on my factory warranty. She said that she sees that I have not yet extended my warranty. I asked her where she was calling from and she said she works with the Lincoln. It sounded a bit strange. I received similar calls in the past about an extended warranty on an older car which was over 10 years old. So..I know that was a scam. Why would Lincoln or anyone working with Lincoln be calling from a local number if it's not the dealership? It sounded a bit strange.

    They keep calling me saying that they are the attorney general's office and I borrowed money 3 years ago and they will see me in court if I don't pay I will be arrested I never got a loan .

    I have been receiving calls from (502) 753 1342 which is a Louisville, Ky number. I receive a call from this number every day so far only one call each day. I answer but they always hang up without saying a word. I don't know how they got my number especially since it is a private unlisted number. I did a reverse search and found out that the number the calls come from is registered to Paetec communications.

    Getting continuous stream of fraudulent spam text messages on my cell phone. Orchestrated anarchy and poisoning-the-well tortious interference on craigslist? The level of spam craigslist texts fraudulently represented as "interested buyer" with attempts at getting personal information is not a fly-by-night operation in my opinion. Its way to large scale. The resources poured into it must be well funded and their links to foreign workers endless? It reminds me of a socialist agenda but it is on the level of terrorism scaring Americans away from free classified use. It is a foreigner motivated thing or a corporate motivated well-poisoning to drive people to pay sites? Psychological warfare on craigslist posters (Americans)? Clearly to me they are attempting to undermine the business of craigslist in a large scale attack because they really don't attempt with any level of believability to appear legit. It is harassing menacing even. Possibly these poorly sent text messages are intended to only target less intelligent people who have a level of gullibility and that is why they are such unbelievable attempts? Without a doubt in my mind it is wire-fraud and likely needs criminal investigation because the scale of contacting 60% of the posts on craigslist is a huge operation. That is the level I'm getting on my text per the number of posts I make. I get general non-specific item craigslist category spams like "is your furniture for sale?" (furniture being the category not the heading) with requests to email directly (thus bypassing the craigslist email masking). The recent ones ask for paypal info or ask to pick up furniture with elaborate check promises. I traced back 732-839-8557 to NJ.  Not sure if these are the ones reported to buying/pick up an item only to have a money order bounce. They seem to dance a legal line but by no stretch is the intent to harass come under legit. Possibly some US security agency should look into this foreign motivated torment of citizens.

      Just got a call from the 508-453-3822 number.  Caller ID said it was from Worcester (Mass).  Couldn't understand the person (very heavy Indian accent) who want to tell me something about my former house.  When I told him I had sold the house and didn't live there any more, he hung up.

    18605533880 is the number that keeps texting me saying I won when I didn't reply back I got a call from 12392054843 saying I had won half a million and a car they said they work with PCH and that someone would be here at 3 to deliver my prize I just needed to verify my address they had 2 for me one in Saganaw MI (Ive never lived there) and one in the town I live I said I live in the second town they had for me and asked why they needed the address if I won they should know that I also mentioned that I didn't enter any contest and they said it was because I shop at Kmart and because I paid my bill on time (I did just recently pay a bill through Kmart but it was 2 days late lol) then they asked if I had at least 5000 in the bank I said no they said how much do you have I said I have 11 cents lol then they asked about how I earn money I said I was disabled they asked if I could wright a check for 200 I said no because I don't have that much they kept trying to get me to write a check when I refused they hung up the whole time I was on the phone with them I was looking them up (googled the number that texted) thats how I ended up here I was reading this info while talking to them I purposely dragged the convo on to get info on them do they really think all Americans are stupid I know I didn't win anything Im not that lucky lol or stupid If you get any calls saying you won something but have to pay for it its a scam for 1 plus if you "won" but didn't enter anything then its a scam if you "won" but have to give them your info its a scam heck for me if I get a phone call and it isn't my girlfriend its a friggin scam lol

    Calls are repeatedly coming from Mercedes Benz dealerships asking for Joe Sung(Song) not sure what they are saying.  This Paetch  group has given my cell number for this guys inquiries about buying cars.  Help!!

    keep getting messages from phone number 408 599 5437 claiming to be some kind of lawyers claiming they work for the irs. They go on too say that I am in trouble and too call them back wright away . when I do they sound middle eastern and I could not understand them . I have dealt with this scam before . please put them out of bussiness . I have already called the police . thank you .
