This scam has been operating here in Ohio for months.  They won't respond to the number on the web.  We are getting electronic messages 2 and 3 times a day.  How  may I get my phone number removed from these people? Karen Inman

    sick of "rachel from card..."
The DoNotCall list doesn't keep Rachel from calling my # 3 or4 times a day, opting out at the end certainly doesn't work, but from time to time when I havde the time, I will push #2 to play their little game. So the converstion with the poor schmuck on the other end is something like this:
CHS:  So, how much total debt do you have?
    Me:    Ummm, I don't know
CHS:  Well, if you had to guess? More than $10k? $20? ....$75?!!!!!
Me:      Probably I guess, I do get a lot of bill like stuff in the mail i suppose. I don't open any of it.so...
CHS:  So, how many cards do you have? and use?
ME:     Um, I'm not real sure maybe 20, 25 or something?
CHS:  So how much do you think you pay each month on each card?
Me:     Uh, yeah I don't pay them all they want is my money and I don't want to give it to them
CHS:   (shocked) Well then who do you think is supposed to pay for your bills?
Me:     Don't know, you called me so you do it.

Basically I just mess with them, sometimes they'll want a credit card # or bank acct #, I am NOT stupid enough to give real #s, so I just make crap up as I go along and let them think that I am some moron airhead.

I have been receiving these calls for years I've done the talking to them to get off their list to pushing 3 and nothing works.  I read all these notations and see everyone has filed reports since 2009 it is now 2012 what is worn with the red tape that is allowing so many people across the country to be harassed and waist our time and money  in my case my cell phone minutes and my time looking for a resolution and the time people in the government are waisting my tax dollars processing the complaints we have all filed.  I do recall our elected officials screaming they want to cut red tape to save coastsI well hear is one place that has been coasting money across the board in the last 4 years that is not being addressed!

My phone is listed as a "do not call" number.
I have been getting those calls almost every day for many month. This is by far the biggest case of harassment I have ever experienced.

The consumer protection department should confiscate thier gear and put the person in charge in jail!

According to the FTC this company has made about 5 million call-a-day. If everyone could keep them on the line for three, four, or five minutes for no reason, not only will their telephone lines and people be tied up for about 250000 man-hours a-day, but they will be paying our massive amounts of money in payroll & telephone services.
On many of these calls I have hit 3 to be supposedly removed from the calling list (big joke) only to have the recorded message start over. If I'm watching TV or doing something obscure I'll wait till the end of the message, hit three, and play the message over & over for as long as possible. It's less calls they can make to someone else.
I have also hit 1 to speak with someone "regarding my credit card situation" using a fake name, list of creditors, balances, etc., using precious minutes of their time before I mentioned that I was on the Do Not Call Registry and wanted to be removed from their calling list.
If 10,000 people a day would take a few minutes and do something similar thats 10,000 x 5 minutes= 833.3 hours-a-day (25,000 hours a month) they have to pay people to answer the phones with a $0 return.
If the $11,000 dollars a day the FTC is fining them isn't enough to hurt them I'll bet this would! Don't wait for the government to stop them. Help run them out of business yourself.

These calls are placed to random numbers via a computer.  Therefore having our phone numbers on the do not call list does not stop them.  I do not see any way to stop them.  I never answer the phone unless I recognize the number, and hang up if it is a recording.  I get many calls per day with no message on my recorder.   I figure if there is no message, it was not important.

been getting these calls over 2 years now and have tried talking to one of their account reps to remove me from their calling list all they do is hang up. So now if if I have nothing better to do I'll tak their call entertain them right up to the poin that they ask for a card number then i play stupid " what?  you need a card number? I dont have a credit card!? I thought you were gonna give me one! isnt that why you called?!" its a little stupid way of getting back at them and its good for a momentary laugh.

I started to talk to them and play along just to waste their time. Everyone should do that to and give them a taste of their own medicine.

Obviously, these (I almost said people) [***] from card holder services have absolutely no respect for others.  So, why is the FCC being so considerate and respectful with their "Dear Mr. Pitzker", and the extremely verbose letter filled with legal citation information that was sent to them.  Simply do your job, FCC, and shut them down.  Your inaction as a government service is why there is so little faith in the government in general.  These are liars, cheaters and thieves.  SHUT THEM DOWN!!  If they continue to harrass me with their illegal actions, why should we have a FCC when the government is struggling with budget issues.

    Cardholder Services Hater
Get a whistle or an air horn and blow it in the mic when the rep answers, they will stop calling eventually. The FCC has tried to shut them down, they are a overseas scam trolling for card numbers PERIOD. They are out of the US jurisdiction and will be near impossible to stop. Every number that comes up on caller ID is bogus. If the representative has to deal with a little ringing in their ears, they will think twice before calling again.

They call me like them times a week and then just hang up on me when I tell them to put me on their DNC list.  I think 50calls is enough!!!  I would assault every one of those [***] if I knew where they were!!!!!!!!!!@@
