Two months back, I shifted my household items from Bangalore to Chennai thru Agarwal Packers& Movers. As I had many fragile items, I wanted to entrust the job to some reliable people. I chose Agarwal, as they were supposed to be the "best"! And soon I could realize that it was the greatest blunder I had ever done! They initially impressed me with their "manner of talking and packing things" (Anybody will as they carry wooden & plastic boxes to suit their customer's needs!! ) and promised to deliver it on time.
However, it was late night when I received my things, with lots of excuses for delay. And to my shock, most of the crockery and glass panes of my TV trolley were completely broken! And one item had completely gone missing. When contacted, I got the casual reply that I should lodge a complaint and claim for insurance .And that they will search for my lost item.
(As though this is not the first time this is happening and I'm not the first person having such experience!). And unfortunately, that's the fact, I'm not the first person! Now I understand there are so many people like me who had the same bad experience with Agarwal packers. So its my sincere advice to people that DON'T ever go for AGARWAL PACKERS.

The dicipline of entire team members of agarwal packers movers is so good.
They packed all the items as per our conveniyant.
They have got very good centralised tracking team is so good, and they informed the status of the shipment time to time and delivered as comitted.
We strongly trust and belive if any wants to shift your house hold goods use Agarwal Packers and Movers.
I recently shifted to Calcutta from Chennai. Like many of us I had heard about Agarwal Packers and movers, (though to my regret I hadn't read the reviews now I find in this site!). I engaged them at a cost of aprrox. 45,000/. The next day I get a call from ANOTHER Agarwal packers and movers who offers Rs.32,000/ with out even visiting the house. To make it short; there are two such concerns, the one I used was DRS etc... I can't comment about the other one except to say that they offered to do the job at Rs.30,000/ down from Rs. 45,000/ they has quoted earlier! So please bargain, don't be fooled by the reputation, you will be pleasently surprised. The next day few guys arrived and rather very quickly packed, all that is mentioned such as care, polite etc are unheard of from these guys. Finally they DEMANDED a hefty tip saying that they are poorly paid. The packing is done so fast and simultaneously you need a few more people to keep track of it. Please do keep a track because we lost a brand new mattress. As it was not listed amongst 57 odd items I couldn't get it back. The claims department doesn't bother to respond even, so forget about claiming anyhting from them. Thay has said that the things would arrive between 8-10 days. We reached Calcutta by road within two days and when the goods finally arrived it did so after 14 days. We spent 10 days in a hotel living out of suitcases. The cost to us was hefty to say the least. The tracking system is useless. Their standard refrain will be we will check and call back. They never do and most often they don't know where the vehicles are. I was given three different dates that I had vacated the hotel and moved into the empty flat I had rented. Our family suffered so much for three days with nothing in the empty flat. The goods arrive when they really arrive not when the tracking facility says so. In calcutta it was the same story. Unprofessional dumping, hurriedly, asked to sign and hefty tip demanded. On the whole it was such a horrible experience, it was a night mare. One of the possible solutions is NOT paying upfront. They always encash the cheque immediately. So please don't the full amount till the job is done. I would never use them again.
And they have privided me the best services and informed the status of my shipment on day to day basis, as per the schedule they delivered my stuff.
And they have guided me in getting the seat for my child and also for house before i shifted .
And their centralized customer care cell which is located at their head office based at Secunderabad is excellent and so customer friendly.
I recommended my friends co-staff they also used the services and they also felt happy about this.
I tell you real experience , I got Transfer from gurgoan to Chennai in the month of January 2011. They all did the work very professionally and all my House hold goods reached to Chennai in actual time and without any damage.
Really their system is splendid, They are punctual in time, they pack really professionally .Their special designed container are really safe.

Even after that that many of my friends have done shifting through Reliance relocation services (p) Ltd and they all had very good experience.

They full filled their commitment and delivered the consignment on time as committed by they. We appriciated their behaviour of each and every employee.
Thay packed all the electrinic items very well , and they made Wooden crates for entire those things to avoid damages. At delivery point it so good and as it is they re-arranged all those items well.
And their centralised customer cell is so good which is located at their head office based at Secunderabad is so good and they informed the status of the consignment time to time and delivered the goods as committed.

I used their services more than 5 times all the times they have delivered my stuff as it is.
1. Their behaviour of the all staff members is so good.
2. They have used their own manufacturing packing materials for the entire packing.
3. They have made wooden crates for entire electronic items.
4. They have sealed the vehicle and opened the same at my door step, which impressed us.
5. And their centralized customer care cell which is based at their head office based at Hyderabad is so good, and they have informed the status of my goods time to time and delivered the goods as committed by them.
Dear Friends if have any relocation needs use the services of Agarwal Packers and Movers .
I had used Agarwal Packers & Movers service and they charged me Rs. 32,000 for shifting my household goods and car from Trivandrum to Bangalore in June. And since I took some time in finding a place in Bangalore I had to keep the stuff in their store for few days.
My most of the furniture was bought recently. On delivery I found out that in my furniture one imported computer-cum-study table is damaged badly.And a big painting's glass is completely broken in pieces and two wall clock also damaged.
At the time of delivery company representatives, who came to deliver goods, noted all complaints and promised that their Carpenter will come first then accordingly will repair or replace the items.Even,i had done insurance cover for all items.
Now they are not doing anything on the complaints I had lodged.Bangalore's insurance office has not done anything in last two month. They are not coming on phone call.They are also going to the extent, saying that your furniture was quite old so it got damaged.
Its really humiliating and harassing.

It seems the above positive posts are made by one person only (check the type and content posted by S.K Mishra, neelima and reddy sahib - all [***] feedback from same person).
I don't know how they managed 9001:2000 certification!! Where to complaint to cancel their license?

And at most their Centralised customer care \ Tracking department based at their Head office Secunderabad is so good they have intimated the status of the shipment time to time.
And they have guided me in admission to my children in school
I strongly recomond to you all to use the services of Agarwal Packers and Movers, if you needs any relocation.
I also had a worst experience with Agarwal Packers and still fighting for claim. Which is not went through for last 6 months.

I would like to share my house shifting experience with Aggarwal Packers&Movers. It is the worst and worst packers in the market. The workers who came for packing, were looking like drunken and completely careless nature.
All my goddess photographs (which are having glass freme) are broken, and all kitchen item are mixed and fell inside the cotten boxes. Even the boxex which they brought for packing are also used one. They don't even bother about our items and valuable goods.
And the most surprising thing is, when I called their representative, she was not at all responding my call.
This is the service they are providing after taking highest money compared to all other packers companies. I've paid 12,500 for this.
NEVER EVER EVER AND EVER GO TO AGGARWAL PACKERS &MOVERS.
Since you have shifted your house hold from Delhi to Mumbai , Can you please tell me about the octroi charges applicale in maharashtra? And how it is being calculated?

After calling up at the numbers on the website, it was apparent that the guy worked there earlier and then opened up his own business and cheated the customers.I had paid him the complete amount on loading after he insisted. I am really disappointed and would request you all to please let me know what is the legal way to get money out of this guy and get him punished for what he did.
Mr Sombir is the name of the guy who did this to us. I would not recommend Swastik Movers and Packers to anybody. Guys, beware of this company and they are cheaters and a big fraud.
