Two months back, I shifted my household items from Bangalore to Chennai thru Agarwal Packers& Movers. As I had many fragile items, I wanted to entrust the job to some reliable people. I chose Agarwal, as they were supposed to be the "best"! And soon I could realize that it was the greatest blunder I had ever done! They initially impressed me with their "manner of talking and packing things" (Anybody will as they carry wooden & plastic boxes to suit their customer's needs!! ) and promised to deliver it on time.

However, it was late night when I received my things, with lots of excuses for delay. And to my shock, most of the crockery and glass panes of my TV trolley were completely broken! And one item had completely gone missing. When contacted, I got the casual reply that I should lodge a complaint and claim for insurance .And that they will search for my lost item.

(As though this is not the first time this is happening and I'm not the first person having such experience!). And unfortunately, that's the fact, I'm not the first person! Now I understand there are so many people like me who had the same bad experience with Agarwal packers. So its my sincere advice to people that DON'T ever go for AGARWAL PACKERS.

    BEWARE AGARWAL PACKWORLD

    It is really painful for me to choose agarwal packworld as my packers & movers. They r one of the wrost P&M I have ever seen.
    They are -
    Un reliable
    Untruthful
    Irresponsible
    No punctuality
    And full  Non sense characters.

    Therefore I request all not to select any Agarwal group Packers & movers otherwise u have to cry for your cargo/car.

    Thanks for your comment. Could you please give me rough idea of relocation charges from Chd to Mumbai you paid. Also, let me know if your car/ bike etc were also included in that.

    Unfortunately I have read these reviews very late. I too have gone through a similar bad experience by engaging Agarwal Packers for shifting of household goods.

    They are not customer focused. They should learn how to speak with customers. I did payment in advance without handing over me the reciept. they mentioned other person would come on the next day to handover it but still not coming. PLEASE DON'T EVER GO TO AGRAWAL Movers & Packers.

    I WOULD ALSO SUGGEST TO ALL THOSE WHO READ NEVER TO ENGAGE AGARWAL PACKERS AND NEVER TO GIVE ADVANCE PAYMENT TO ANY PACKER.

    agarwal p & c are just crap in name of service. They just wan our money folks. They pack and dismantle things as if u hv got them 4 free. I feel lik abusg dem rit & left. They have a team full of idiots. The person in bangalore who gives u the status of the goods where r de n all, i don knw his name he is an illiterate animal, forget english, he doesn't knw hw to tlk.
    After lot i gt my stuff, their people asked 4 money i mean the labours who came with the goods, asked them what about the broken 1s, he did formality and made me write a note and faded away 4 evr. Called the bangalore office idiot, he gave me another number for complaint. Called another num he said wud com bt din turn up, called after 2 days he started shouting at me a customer.

    Things damaged and broken:
    dinner set, glass set, tv internally and externally, sofa damaged, and many more.

    DIS CO. IS THE BIGGEST BHIKARI CO. AND THE MOST CHOR CO.
    NEVER OPT FOR THEIR SERVICE.

    I have gone through the various comments of the people abt Agarwal Packers. Make sure that you choose the original Agarwal Packers and Movers LIMITED who have a countrywide toll free no. 6001 5001. They are the real and genuine packers who delivered my stuff in absolutely perfect condition during my move from Bangalore to Delhi. Ensure that the company belongs to Mr.Mukesh Agarwal who is the Executive Director of this Company. I wish all the best to this company.

    I am another victim of their non-professional service. They broken my freezer (by mistake). and later they said, pls get any local electrician and pay him 200-300 and solve the matter. I refused this offer and later they started all the real games like,
    Now, they have assured me that my freez will be fixed once it reach Nagpur. I found, maximum managers are not receiving calls or even if they receives, their language is just like Dada.
    Will never recommend them again.

    I too read this page very late. I have just shifted my house hold belongings from Mangalore to Kolkata. I got delivery of my items belatedly that too with damaged condition. Items like neelkamal almiarah, wooden dining table, kitchen items, etc., are severely damaged. Very bad luck for me. I suggest DO NOT USE DRS GARWAL PACKERS FOR SHIFTING. USE any local pakers-movers as it will be better as they may atleast extend concession in their charges as compensation for damages.

    They have also cheated me by effecting transhipment in four stations i.e., Bangalore, Hyderabad, Bhubaneshwar & Kolkata outskirts, -instead of- extending point to point service in a single lorry in line with their initial promise. The charge applicable for point to point service is Rs.80000/- and charge applicable for general transportation is around 40000/- and they charged me Rs.80000/- !  This is a crystal clear case of cheating for which I am planning to approach consumer court.

    I have a bitter experience of choosing agrawal packers as one item is still missing and a lot of  items were delivered in broken condition . Total casual approach  has been shown by staff for getting the items repaired. Please do not opt their services.

    HI GUYS,
                  Last month on 14.04.2012, I booked my household goods by Agrawal packers @movers from Delhi to kolkata,they have given me written expected date to deliver my goods by 19.04.2012,but they delivered my goods by 28.04.2012 late evening. Also my godrej,bike and some crockery items are fully damaged. I have given online complain regarding my damaged goods and 10 days delay delivery to the company but no favourable reply i got .
                                                   Such a great bad service has been given by agrawal packers @ movers to me that no my collegues and my office staff will go to Agrawal packers@movers in future.  Also I will suggest all Indians not to go Agrawal packers @movers for such a bad service.

    Packers and Movers Company company is a big fraud and AGARWAL MOVERS AND PACKERS are doing it rampantly.Recently i booked my car from delhi to guwahati and to my utter surprise i came to know they hav outsourced it to others.They hav made a big dent in my car and refusing to accept it.They are basically doing the work of middle man and charging more money than others because they outsource it to others.Its better to donate or sell ur goods than engaging to any movers and packers.Govt should steps to prevent these nuisance by the movers and packers company.

    I cargo-ed my car from Bangalore to Delhi, and by the time it reached delhi, its turbo chager and engine room were broken. it costed me1.6 Lakhs to change it. But they agarwal didnt take any responsibility. Holy [***] they are..

    Agarwal packers and Movers(http://www.agarwalpackers.com) provides the worst service, recently i shifted  my Bullet bike from Noida to Bangalore. i had told them to pack carefully since it was a new bike ( un-registered) and paid extra 3000 for that but still when i received the bike it was full of scratches and dents i escalated this issue but no one bothered to respond. Please avoid them if you really care for your goods

    i had also such horrible experience with these agarwal packers and movers . i rec d. the consignment after 15 days from kolkata to ahmedabad, even at the time of delivery whole the crockeries in broken condition . and my dining table and chairs all in badly damaged condition. nothing has been done. customer casre deptt. make false assurance. i would advise to please dont engage these for your goods.

    Recently I shifted from Goa to Delhi by Agarwal Packers & Movers. They did breach of contract  with me . Against my contract with them, they did transhipment & sharing , as a result my goods reached in damaged condition. I have written proofs against them & I am filing a a case against them shortly - JainP@pmw.co.in
