Two months back, I shifted my household items from Bangalore to Chennai thru Agarwal Packers& Movers. As I had many fragile items, I wanted to entrust the job to some reliable people. I chose Agarwal, as they were supposed to be the "best"! And soon I could realize that it was the greatest blunder I had ever done! They initially impressed me with their "manner of talking and packing things" (Anybody will as they carry wooden & plastic boxes to suit their customer's needs!! ) and promised to deliver it on time.
However, it was late night when I received my things, with lots of excuses for delay. And to my shock, most of the crockery and glass panes of my TV trolley were completely broken! And one item had completely gone missing. When contacted, I got the casual reply that I should lodge a complaint and claim for insurance .And that they will search for my lost item.
(As though this is not the first time this is happening and I'm not the first person having such experience!). And unfortunately, that's the fact, I'm not the first person! Now I understand there are so many people like me who had the same bad experience with Agarwal packers. So its my sincere advice to people that DON'T ever go for AGARWAL PACKERS.

We had a very bad experience with Agarwal Packers and Movers during our local shifting in Mumbai
The packing part went of ok but the next no truck or labour was sent for the loading or unloading and unpacking. When contacted they had the guts to ask us to arrange for the truck ourselves.
We had to wait for the truck from 11am to 5.45 pm and finally when the unloading was finished it was 11.55pm
They had to come the next day for unpacking because of the delay for which they kept cribbing
And when contacted they didn't have the courtesy to say sorry and were giving useless excuses for all the trouble we went through
But as we had not paid them a penny we could deduct a certain amount from the original payment agreed for which they have been calling 10 times a day for the balance amount
So anybody planning to do shifting do not not not engage Agarwal Packers which is the most customer unfriendly packer in whole of India according to us. And never ever give any advance payment to any packer for that matter.
The is the kind of service Agrawal Movers and packers are giving to their customers.
I found the refrigerator damaged. Now they are not responding to my complaints even I had done the insurance of the refrigerator.

In Hyderabad office I spoke to Mr. Bachan Singh, he directed me to Suresh Vashisht in Goa, Suresh directed me back to Bachan singh, who once again directed to Mr. Muykesh Agarwal of Bangalore, Who later on directed me to Pradeep back in Hyderabad. I called up suresh as he wanted himself initialy to be the one point contact. He further directed me to Mr. Prabhat Gupta in Gurgaon. Pradeep Gupta did not attent my call a lady picked up and mentioned she would get back to me as Mr. Gupta was in meeting. No one got back to me. I had to call suresh who mentioned to me that he cannot do anyting further, I need to speak to Mr. Talwalkar in Mumbai. I called up for Mr. Talwalkar. Once again a lady picked up and mentioed that he was not available. She directed me to another person Mr. Lalith who clained to be the south and west zone head in India. These kind of calls have been by me several times daily. I am very upset with the serice of Agarwal Packers and movers and recomment everyone not to go ahead with the services of Agarwal Packers and movers as they are not transperent company. I had a very bad experience. Always opt for Agarwal Movers & Packers & not Agarwal Speedlinks. I shifted my household goods from Mumbai to Hyderabad & ended up loosing many stuffs. Moreover the service provided by Agarwal speedlink is pathetic & they don't know the word professionalism. These guys have the outsourced the delivery in hyderabad to some cheap agency & in the transit lost many of my stuffs.
We appriciate their way of workinng, the behaviour of the staff is so good.
1. First they have packed pooja item which impresed my old parents.
2. They used wooden creates for all io our electronic items.
3. They have used their own manufactured packing materials.
4. And we have to appriciate their centralized corporate team for updating about the shipment for time to time.
5.we recommended some my friends, and 3 persons shifted through them and they are also happy.
We strongly recomd agarwal packers and movers if any of you got transffered.
and we felt very good that they have given very good service , and their behaviour of the packing crew is so good and they have unloaded the material and arranged as per our requirement. Even we are recomonding our friends to use the services of agarwalpackers and movers for relocation of goods.

we are very happy with the services provided by agarwalpackers and we recomonded to our frinds also.
And their centralized customer care \ tracking team is so good and they have informed the status of the goods time to time which is quite good.
As comitted by them they have come to our house and packed well and in same condition they have delivered the goods at our new house.
And they cleaned the house after packing and unpacking also which is so good.

The goods were packed and picked up in Delhi on June 30. They were supposed to be delivered on or before July 7. I was here in Chennai till July 7 night to receive and inspect goods. Instead, the goods were not delivered till July 9/10 leaving my old parents to deal with it.
All of the items below are only 5-6 months old. Furniture items were made-to-order from Pepperfry and delivered in Delhi over a period in December 2012, and January/February 2013.
1 sofa cum chair, 1 chest of drawers, 1 table, 1 reclining chair, 1 washing machine, 1 nest of tables. Rest mostly kitchen items and clothes. ALL furniture items have some level of damage. Washing machine had significant damage.
We have spoken to customer care representatives and all that. No word of apology. They all sound like Goondas, and raise their voices. They do not listen. Especially Ethiraj in Chennai. They told my parents and I that such things are bound to happen during shipping and delivery. Is that so?
(1) Table: one edge broken off (2 inches in width, 0.5 inch depth). Scratch marks everywhere. Sticky layer of some white substance that just won't come up.
(2) Chest of drawers: 15 cms of wood on the last drawer cracked. If it wall of the drawer had not been so thick, the drawer would have a see-through crack.
(3) Sofa cum chair: One arm joint completely broken. Scratches everywhere.
(4) Nest of tables: 2 inch piece of wood has broken off on one of the legs.
(5) Washing machine: door was too tight to open when Ethiraj inspected. My mom told him not to open. IFB technician tried opening it, and lock was broken. So the door has to be broken open and replaced. Rs 3000 or more. Similar, bottom of detergent dispenser is broken.
(6) Clothes drying rack: one of the rods bent out of shape.
(7) Dish rack: plastic, broken.
(8) 1 drinking glass out of 4 broken
And since we are only now unpacking (I arrived in Chennai this morning), there might be more to add to this list. Proclaiming you shift our items like you shift a baby is rather lame when you cannot deal with a studio apartment worth of things properly. It does not matter if the product is completely broken, disabled or has a knee scratch when delivered. A damage is a damage in customer's eye. You think I would have accepted delivery from @Pepperfry if their furniture had the slightest damage?!
I do not want your carpenter to touch my made-to-order furniture. Repainting it, or putting a nail where none existed is not acceptable. You want my clothes to tear on the nail? Spoil the aesthetics of the piece?
What is worse is that I supervised packing, and lined all items with cushioning and all that to avoid EXACTLY this. Your packers in Delhi did not bring bubble wrap for glass items. They brought newspapers, and told me bubble wrap is only for international shipping. However, I had enough bubble wrap and insisted that all fragile items be packed ONLY in that.
Did your vehicle have an accident? Did you NOT transport my goods in a container truck as promised? Explain! And more importantly, I want my table replaced. Take this away. You order the same piece from Pepperfry, and I wait 30-45 days till it gets delivered. Because thats how long it takes get a piece like this.
Also, delivery experience was horrible
(1) 5 men delivered goods. My parents tipped them Rs 300. They refused to leave till they got Rs 500. Why? For successfully DAMAGING my goods? Irony.
(2) My house is in the center of Chennai. It is easy to find. However, they made my dad come somewhere else and bring them to the house.
All in all, I will NEVER EVER trust you with my babies again. You are horrible people. You show such a nice face while packing, and then this is what we have to deal with after delivery. You deserve a BAD reputation.
Myself Manoj kumar Panda working with the corporate hose ESSAR as DGM-civil. I had shifted my household goods through Agarwal packers and movers located at Bhubaneswar from Paradeep to Kalyan (Mumbai) in part bearing GC no.-601558. All items (15 no)were packed, loaded and started for destination in presence of me at Paradeep on 10
th June 2011 .I received all 15 consignments at Kalyan (W) on 29
th June 2011 counting the numbers and signed over the POD. After the departure of unloading persons I started opening one by one cartoon suiting my requirement .
when I opened the cartoon no- 6-which contained pilow,blanket and laptop , it is observed that the my laptop and charger was missing leaving laptop cover.I spoke with our counterpart Mr Vikram from Bhubaneswar he expressed his helplessness in this regard. Hence I request you to order an inquiry over this issue and restore my laptop within 5 days time to avert unnecessary legal proceedings (Lodging police FIR etc.)

We appriciate their services and behaviour of the staff, and as commited by them and as per schedule they delivered the goods, and they have rearranged entire goods at my new residence.
And their centralized customer care department based at their head office based at Secunderabad so good, and they have informed us the status of the consignment time to time .
Even we have recomonded lot of my friends and they also very happy with the servces provided by agarwal packers and movers.
So above suggestions may benefecial for us.But one can not say anything about any packers and movers.Claming insurance for your household is impossible in India.The people are making us fool for household insurance.All are cheaters.Beware of 9311840300.
Top glass of my teapoy was broken
One tupperware item worth Rs.1200 was broken
Saibaba photo glass was broken
Wall clock glass is broken
(ALL THESE ITEMS HAVE SURVIVED 3 TRANSFERS since 2004 to 2011, i.e Hyd to Ahmedabad (Geetha)Ahmd to Vijayawada (Associated packers) and vijayawada to chennai (some small transporter)but breathed their last in the hands of Agarwal packers).
These other transporters are not very big names, but did a splendid job.
Another thing observed is Agarwarl boys will not use the company cartons already available but pack in thier own cartons. Glass items are packed in bags and not in wooden boxes. I called mr. Misra on 9320074321 several times to assess the damage as suggested by the company, but NO
USE. Their promises are not for keeping up.
I called them and it may be a coincidence that they have responded and sent their representative on 17.8.2011. He replaced the Teapoy glass and photo glass. After much negotiation, I have agreed to receive a compensation of about Rs.1000.00 towards other items which also included a broken Acrilic/bakelite/plastic stand of ANJALI Make. Now I am more of less satisfied. Thanks for the effect of this FORUM
I wants to appriciate the entire packing team and they have maintained very well and the behaviour of each and every one is so good.
They packed all of my electronics , after that have made woodeen crates
They packed all my valuable items in Plactic crates( in which they have written Perfect Boxes)
They packed and delivered the shipment on time. And appriciate their centralized Tracking \ customer care department based at their Head office at Secunderabad is so good they have updated the status of goods on daily basis.
Also I strongly belive that any one wants to their relocations needs use Agarwal Packers and movers .
