Two months back, I shifted my household items from Bangalore to Chennai thru Agarwal Packers& Movers. As I had many fragile items, I wanted to entrust the job to some reliable people. I chose Agarwal, as they were supposed to be the "best"! And soon I could realize that it was the greatest blunder I had ever done! They initially impressed me with their "manner of talking and packing things" (Anybody will as they carry wooden & plastic boxes to suit their customer's needs!! ) and promised to deliver it on time.
However, it was late night when I received my things, with lots of excuses for delay. And to my shock, most of the crockery and glass panes of my TV trolley were completely broken! And one item had completely gone missing. When contacted, I got the casual reply that I should lodge a complaint and claim for insurance .And that they will search for my lost item.
(As though this is not the first time this is happening and I'm not the first person having such experience!). And unfortunately, that's the fact, I'm not the first person! Now I understand there are so many people like me who had the same bad experience with Agarwal packers. So its my sincere advice to people that DON'T ever go for AGARWAL PACKERS.

Agarwal Speed Link Pvt. ltd. They are making all types of execuses for mishandling, untimely execution and other ralated things.
During the negotiation period your representatives (Mr.Sharma&Mr.Sandeep of your Aurangabad Office) assured me that the material will be delivered with in five days since the consignment is full Truck material.
They have loaded the material in the Truck MH12 EQ 554 on 24th of May 2010 at 22:30 Hrs vide your GC No.243193 dated 24-05-2010. The Truck was not reached on due date and we have started to enquire with Aurangabad Branch and Cochin Branch very frequently but there was no reply and even they were misguiding us by giving wrong information’s. At last I have contacted Mr.Rajesh Agarwal and Mr.Sanjeev Khare of your Delhi Office continuously and Mr.Sanjay informed that material will be delivered on 3rd June 2010.
On 3rd midnight the truck No KL 8 F 4838 reached my place and I have unloaded the material and the next day we have unpacked the items and we were surprised that most of the valuable items are damaged beyond repairable condition and some of the materials are missing also. I have already hand over the list of broken and missing items to your person Mr.Sukhbir Singh and Rajender Singh of your Cochin office.
Kindly note that as your company is an ISO Organization and your own staff’s commitment about delivery and overall trust is influenced me to send the material through your service/transport.
One thing is confirmed that all my materials are shifted in different Trucks in different places and along with my material other materials also transported and that is why lot of Tea Dust was found in all boxes. Even I have booked for a full Truck material and at the same time you have considered and routed through part load system hence the damage was high.
Due to the non availability of our house hold material on time we suffered a lot mentally and physically and we are forced to stay in Hotel in my home Town.

Till date no response from Agarwal packers and they will offer you many things and dear customers pls note that once your material loaded in their truck then you have to run behind them for your material and you may not get your material in same condion.Those who wish to book Agarwal Packers and movers please think for alternative since i have faced the problems which i can't express in short and they are cheaters.

I have also engaged DRS for transfering my household items from Delhi to Bangalore.Can you think how clever they are!! They asked 100% payment at the time of loading. I got my goods in good condition,because I don't have so many glass items, but some items are missing! They removed from packing & done the same packing as good as it was.No matter you choose any cargo, they will do some [***] things to your goods.So, I decided hence forth to sell my old items as much as I can before transporting.No other solution,no body will listen to you.
In also gone through the same experience with DRS Agarwal Packers & Movers, I shifted my house-hold items from Meerut to Kolkata on 28th June 2010.
Most importantly they used to reply very casualy when it comes to Claim for loss of Goods although they charged me higher rate for insurance of my household goods.
Can,t we take a legal step against them for this.
