Cancelled 14 day trial but charged $69 to credit

In spite of cancelling the 14 day trial offer from Instaflex they went ahead nearly 30 days later and charged my credit card for $69.00.  When calling the customer service number, the rep was insulant and it was like pulling teeth to get the Return Merchandise Authorization number.  Get this they say it will take 14-30 days to process refund.  I insisted that they close my account, cancel any future charges AND provide the RMA#.

This is the typical SCAM.  Their product is realliy nothing more than what is available at any drug store throughout the U.S. AT A FRACTION OF THE COST...

BEWARE OF INSTAFLEX AND THEIR GAMES

I to had the same problem with Instaflex. When I received a 30 day supply I told CS they said mark the package "Return To Sender". And credit my account. Now as of 11/19/2010 their telephone number is not working. And now I am out $34.99!

    Big Tom,

Just saw your comment from July about cancelling and returning
Instaflex.  Did you get your credit without any hassels?
I just got a RMA # to return the bottle of 90 they sent me.
The man I spoke with was very nice so hopefully there won't be
a problem with getting any credit.

    Thanks

Thank you for the info on returning and cancelling I did just what you said and got the RMA# for the return, plus they sent an e-mail to confirm cancellation. The young lady I spoke to was also very pleasant and proffessional.

I placed an order #1003658 dtd 11-29-2010 for 14 day trial. Received the Joint Support trial bottel by US Postal Service on 12/04/2010.  On 12/07/2010 I called i-877-869-3310 but the line was busy. Called again and was told that I am within the 18 day window and Customer Service will cancel my contract.  Please keep this as a matter of record.

There is something "drastically" wrong with our legal system! How can  rip-off artists like "Instaflex" be allowed to rampantly mislead, bilk and cheat the public? I myself will file a complaint with the NJ Consumer Protection Office and any other offical government office I can contact. I've done it before and it works! There was nothing in the ad that said they would bill me $74.00 montly for the pills! It said "pay for shipping and order will be free"...and then they hit my credit card for over $150 and started mailing me pills! I want to flush their garbage pills and their name down my toilet! I vow to get my money back and stop them from cheating the public. This is "illegal" and there are no if, ands or buts! There should be a law applying stiff fines for companies that mislead the public. What was all that crap about Instflex being on national TV shows...like they were using that as endorsement bait...shylocks, theives, criminals they are!

I have been using the sample of Instaflex the company sent me and I am very happy with the way I feel. I've just been using it for one week and I feel much better.  I am going to continue using it.  I will try to see if I can find it a little cheaper in a Health food store but for now...I have to say I don't feel like my joints are 150 years old anymore. If this changes then I will rethink using this product.

As of December 24, 2010, the Scam continues. Before you can complete your 14 day trial, you are charged with another $79.95, for 30 days supply.   Might know dealing with the Utah Gang that you would get shafted.

same old thing as others have stated. its a scam, the offer to try the product and see if it will benefit a person is bogus. the clock starts in their warehouse so you do not not have the proper time to evaluate.  just another company selling maybe a product that may work but to interested in scamming the customer out of the all important dollar. if you are a person that does not check your credit card charges carefully the deeper you will go. is this company interested in repeat business, i think not. this is the reason for so many companies that they cannot do business in a fair and just fashion. i hate government regulations but something must be done to satisfy this injustice.  the credit card company was helpful but are under guidelines that seem to protect the companies in question.  i think only American Express is more proactive. a waste of a few hours of my life.

I too, was scamed by Instaflex. I tried the 30 day trial and
was charged $29.99 for it on Oct 3rd. I had no relief from it.

    I was charged $74.98 on Oct.20th, Nov.20th and Dec.20th.

I didn't get any in Oct. or Nov. But I got charged $74.98 each month.
Got a bottle in Dec. and got charged $74.98. I'm sending it back today.

I called today and talked to a guy that was mummbling and I could'nt
hear or understand him.I asked to speak to his manager. He wasn't much better. He said another bottle was sent Jan. 18th. and I was charged another $74.98. He said he would give me credit for that one if I send it back as soon as I get it. The one for Dec. he would only give me a credit
of $40.00 because it was one day over their 30 grace period days.

I'm out $174.94 that I can't afford, being a senior on a very limited income. Wish I could let every new customer know what a fraud company
Insaflex is, before they get stuck.

According to my Visa card statement, the $4.99 “Trial” was billed to my card on 1-31-11.
I was to be allowed the 14 Days Trial + shipping days.
I called and Cancelled on 2-19-11, but my Visa card account was already charged $74.98 on 2-17-11.
This is a pretty sneaky way to do business and 14 days is not even long enough to find out if Instaflex works.  Once I received the product, I had to schedule an appointment with my physician in order to make sure that it was something that I could take with my other medications.  I am a person with real pain.  Your business practice is very underhanded.  You should be honest with people and let them have the time to find out if the product really does work for them.  You should be up front about the cost of the product after the “Trial”, how and when they will be billed and explain the Auto-shipping.  Sneaky, sneaky, sneaky!

People! People!  You bought with a credit card, right?  You canceled within the proper time-frame, right?  Then let the credit card company handle it.  I believe that if someone sends you something that you DID NOT ORDER, you are not even obligated to send it back.  Your position should be if they want it back, they send you a prepaid shipping label.

PS:  Don't forget to  involve your local state attorney general.  They eat this stuff up and usually do a pretty good job.
