For months have had unsolicited computerized calls day, night & weekends -  unrelenting.......I finally waited for a rep to come on and asked for their name and location, was disconnected; another told me my number would be removed; another said they were 'dealer warranty services' and I asked where and he said South Florida, then disconnected; another disconnect, another promise to remove me from calling list, two more phone calls and finally a postcard yesterday......from 'Dealer Warranty Services'  at 3710 Mueller Road, St Charles, MO 63301 - phone # 800-581-1575, www.dws-us.biz
*69 does not help to trace call so not absolutely sure these are the same people, but plan to visit site, and possibly phone them.

UGH!  I get these calls non stop on my home and business line!  I have asked them several times to remove me to no avail and tonight was tops.  I asked the guy the name of the company he said "pineapple under the sea"  and after that each time I spoke(to ask him to remove our name) he would start singing the SpongeBob Squarepants theme song.  Not only are they harassing us now they are just being down right disrespectful.  Isn't there anything that can be done!

I received a card, as well, first seeming to be from the vehicle manafacterer
but soon analyzed certain words and statements telling me they are NOT representatives of ANY dealership.  Just to be certain, I visited a Lexus dealership, showing them the card.  Their first answer was,as I suspected it would be, "that's best for the shredder."  I am old enough and 'experienced' enough to recognize such.

This is a repeat - with added capitalization:  I received a card, as well, first seeming to be from the vehicle manufacturer
but soon analyzed certain words and statements telling me they are NOT representatives of ANY dealership.  Just to be certain, I visited a Lexus dealership, showing them the card.  Their first answer was,as I suspected it would be, "that's best for the shredder."  I am old enough and 'experienced' enough to recognize such.  THEY TELL ME ON THE CARD THAT MY 2-YR OLD LEXUS WITH A 4-YR WARRANTY HAS EXPIRED OR WILL DO SO.  I CALLED FOR CURIOSITY, FINALLY TELLING THE ANSWERER THAT I RECOGNIZED THEIR DECEITFUL WORDING.

I am glad I checked here.  Figured it is a scam, but decided to check, anyway.  The car isn't even in my name anymore....1994 vintage.

I replyed to the phone call from a warranty company. I listened to everything thy had to say. Then I told them not to call me anymore. I got this guy on the phone pretending to be a robot, and not understanding what I was say. I was telling him to take me off the call list. He kept saying you want us to call you how many more times. He pretended to be dying and to call 899. How can this be stopped?

Connect with the Federal Trade Commission and file a complaint.  Follow the prompts to let them know what's going on and then file a complaint with your state's Attorney General's Office.  This harrassment from Dealers Warranty in Missouri is worthy of complaint under business practices, if nothing else.

A quote from the FTC web site page:

"The Federal Trade Commission, the nation's consumer protection agency, collects complaints about companies, business practices, identity theft, and episodes of violence in the media.

Why: Your complaints can help us detect patterns of wrong-doing, and lead to investigations and prosecutions. The FTC enters all complaints it receives into Consumer Sentinel, a secure online database that is used by thousands of civil and criminal law enforcement authorities worldwide. The FTC does not resolve individual consumer complaints."

Though they don't solve individual complaints, they at least can be aware of a companies patterns of scamming business practices.

if i worked for the ftc, and i received the few complaints from 3 years and 5 pages on a website, i wouldnt give a [***] to help you either. if more people would actually stand up for themselve something might happen. but we americans enjoy turmoil so much that we couldnt get more than 50 people together to boycott anything that requires it. look at how the march against an abortion clinic went...15 people, all arrested, some beat up by police, even women cracked with nightsticks, the boycott of the iraq war at s.a.c., 50 people, 20 arrested, but of course the million man march went well, (the meeting where the blacks were reinforced on how unfair white america is to them) almost 2 million for that. anyway, someone is making money from this, either the phone company or the government or both. i wanna know why it is that there are millions of these calls and only 5 pages with probably LESS than 15 different people complaining.????? I would actually like to see how many total complaint there are. how much good is there if you light a fire under someones [***] and they have no nerve?

We keep getting annoning call and postcards.  Help to get them to stop.  If only we could do to them as they do to us .  How would they like to have there home invaded as a thief as that is what they are stealing our time and energy.  As a disabled person I don't appreciate there calls.   It is extremely disturbing that they are so arrogant to think therre time is more valuable then mine.

Greg M. I just called and they offered a 150,000 mile extended warranty for $2570 and promised to refund the $2500 if I do not use the warranty of my 2001 Ford diesel 4X4.  What should I do?

Thanks for the heads up.  I received several phone calls and also received a card yesterday.  My car is a 2005, so I really didn't think much, until I read your complaints.  So Thanks again.
