For months have had unsolicited computerized calls day, night & weekends -  unrelenting.......I finally waited for a rep to come on and asked for their name and location, was disconnected; another told me my number would be removed; another said they were 'dealer warranty services' and I asked where and he said South Florida, then disconnected; another disconnect, another promise to remove me from calling list, two more phone calls and finally a postcard yesterday......from 'Dealer Warranty Services'  at 3710 Mueller Road, St Charles, MO 63301 - phone # 800-581-1575, www.dws-us.biz
*69 does not help to trace call so not absolutely sure these are the same people, but plan to visit site, and possibly phone them.

    I beat these [***]!!
Just tell them that you own a 2007 Lexus when they call, and they will disconnect you immediately! They don't want to bother with people with new cars!!

I knew this was fake, I drive a '86 dodge ram. Lucky for me I only get postcards. "Return to sender" goes on all my unwanted first class junk mail. The post office will do this at no cost on first class mail only. Dump all the crap mail back in the perpetrators laps.

Today I've received the sixth warranty card since I've owned my used vehicle from Chrysler. This time it's from: Dealers Warranty out of 745 Friedens Rd. Ste. 201 St. Charles, MO 63303. Two other's I've received in the last two months are from Automotive Warranty Advisors out of Pompano Beach FL. and the other from "Motor Vehicle Services" in Johnston, RI. Imagine a company who calls themselves legitimate who will give you a warranty for your vehicle OVER THE PHONE without verifying its condition, odometer reading, whether it's even sitting in your driveway, etc.?

Where do these people come from? Why are they allowed to operate this type of business? HOW do I get them to stop calling me and sending me stuff??

I called the number listed in the first e-mail and talked to a young man who PROMISED to take our phone number and our address out of their lists.  We'll see.  I have asked for that at least a dozen times, and I STILL receive the post cards and the phone calls.  I HATE THIS COMPANY!  DK

I don't have a car and I don't drive anymore.  How did they get my name and address?  I never had a factory warrenty.  The last car I bought from a police auction 15 years ago.!!  I also have been getting the phone calls and they hang up on you as soon as you ask a question!!  I will give this card to the post master as mail fraud is a federal crime and thease turds are scammers.

I have found a way to get these scumbags from contacting me. I called the number on the postcard they sent, I told them I had just purchased a 2008 Cadillac. The "seller" or "agent" asked if I had purchased an extended warrenty, I said "no because I didn't need it", he said that is the reason they contacted me, I told him.."no it isn't." He said.."are you calling me a liar?" I responded with.. "yes I am." HE HUNG UP ON ME!! I bet he'll remove my name and phone number from his list.

I actually work for a GM dealership and our customers come in all the time with the post card. 2 customers actually purchased the warranty which is junk. One day when my General Motors Service rep was in the dealership I called the toll free number and spoke with one of the sales rep and they stated in was a General Motors warranty which is a big misrepresentation.

They called me today... and yesterday as well on my cellphone. I waited and talked to a real person (both times) and told them I didn't own a car and that all I had was a bike and if they could still help me... they promptly said "we will take you off the list" *BAM* hung up on me. I could have died laughing!

I really need some help here. I've been stupid and thought that this was legit and so I purchased it. However, I'm supposed to be paying them monthly. In the first month I paid them $150 dated 11/10/2008 and I called them up today to cancel it after looking at all the complaints online. How can I stop future payments to them. The cancellation policy involves sending them my name and address on a slip of paper, along with the mileage reading notorized and signed by me. How will I ever get a confirmation of sending these materials. I'm really really worried here...and I'd appreciate any help from anyone on this forum who could help me. Please Please help. Can I close my bank account...will that affect me legally? How do I just stop future payments...they say I have to pay 10% of the total amount to cancel! Please help...

    I have an idea...

Tell them that your number will change because you moved, and give this number.
    Federal Trade Commission   (202) 326-2222

If they get enough people replying exactly the same way, they will get an idea.

Being someone who knows this type of business I find it very interesting of just how many different business entities are being discussed here.  I have counted 6 different companies but yet these complaints are all refering to one company.  Amazing!  Check who is the insurance backer, that's the key.  Check there record, If you are not happy complain to them, they have the power to assist if you are mistreated.  most are public traded companies that do not like negitive relations.

    The Truth
I work for a car dealer, I have had first hand involvement trying to get a claim paid from these "people". The number is always busy, they put me on hold for 27 minutes!, and the claim call number they gave me is not toll free. I am on the west coast they are east coast.
This is not a scam but it is a greasy tactic to prey on those who may not know better.
DO NOT buy one of these jokes of a service contract, call your dealer and get better coverage for the same money from someone you can trust and talk to! We all work too hard for our money to piss it away to some [***] snake oil salesman.

"And The Truth will set you free!"

Another call today from the "Factory Warranty" scam, and that makes 3 days in a row just this week. I've been getting the calls at least once a week for several months now and would like it to stop. All of my numbers are unlisted and on the Do Not Call List, but none of that seems to matter. This is harassment and something needs to be done about it. After researching the internet for how to complain about the calls, I'm left with nothing. It's very frustrating.

Everybody is going about this wrong, let your government work for you.

If you are getting phone calls like me register your number here:
    https://www.donotcall.gov/register/reg.aspx

    Register complaints here:
    https://www.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx

I've been in Do Not Call database for awhile. The Dealer Warrenty Services first call to me i said I was on the national do not call list off the bat and the operator instantly hung up on me. The second time, they just called me an hour ago, I got their 954-397-7480 on my phone ID and when asked for their company details in case my cell dropped they said to call back to 888-345-3994. I THEN told the salesperson Debbie I was part of the national do not call list and I hadn't solicited their business for a call and their cold call to me was in fact illegal as I was bringing up the government page to report them. Debbie responded with some four letter words before she hung up the phone.

I hope their fine is large
