They want more money!!!!

Will make this short and sweet, I hope.
Bought a timeshre in 2006, havent been able to use it as husband works away. We were shown a resort we were told we could use as we didnt like the one we were buying into. So.... we try and use it two years later, and find out that they want us to pay $410 a night per person ontop of the $10,000USD we have paid to stay anywhere. They dispute they showed us this resort, they dispute they didnt tell us we had to pay more once they admitted we were shown the resort. And so the saga goes on. We have been told we can have 2 free weeks there, which will come to the equivalent of the price we paid originally. Why would we want to do that, it doesnt solve the problem of having to pay more if we want a holiday there. Now we wait as we want out of this whole sorry mess. It leaves a very bad taste in the mouth. Husband is retiring this month and we thought we would be able to use our RCI membership without doubt as we bought into the higher levels of timeshare. Tried to find a place to go before February 2009, we have been told there is nothing on our side of the world. So we cant use the Royal Bali Club we cant use RCI. Well we can if we forever pay more, what was the point of paying into something we thought we would have for life and no more expense apart from air travel.
So people out there, beware Royal Bali Club and RCI. The directors and President must be laughing all the way to the bank.

We have been lied to mis lead and forced into signing a contract which we were told we could get out of as we have not even used it and no one is helping all they want is more money as i have a bill here for Kim for $695.44 for yearly maintenance.What a joke as if the other money you took of her was not enough!!
When she tries to get in contact with someone from this company no one calls her back or you can not understand them and they hang up. What kind of business is this?
If anyone can help on how we can get Kims money back can you please let me know? Or if anyone has any information on what steps i can make to get the money back for her. email contact dtx32b@hotmail.com

Hey everyone, Unfortunately my partner Kim has been scammed as well back in February when we travelled to Bali for a relaxing holiday together and ended up getting scammed into paying on the spot $10,000 AUS. She is really upset with herself and cant believe what has happened which is causing massive depression in her life. The amount of lies that we were told is amazing and also the promises have never happened. Reading through all these complaints we have gone through exactly what everyone else has and find that and its disgusting that this man John Spence can create a system Royal Resorts and can do this to people.

With many case from all my bro & sis at this forum , i will not reach to they office .

- Send an email to their sales department as soon as possible (sent mine 2 days after signing) stating you want to cancel.
- You will get calls back, pleas of reconsideration, lower offers, etc.. don't give in, just be firm and say you want to cancel.
- They will cancel the membership but refuse to refund the membership, this is normal.
- Say you will post your experience online and not let this go. Be polite but firm.
- They will give in and refund your deposit.
take us to court if we don't pay. I am going to see my solicitor as soon as I get back. They signed us up without any
identification . something should be done with these people and about JOHN SPENCE who runs this company
