Will make this short and sweet, I hope.
Bought a timeshre in 2006, havent been able to use it as husband works away. We were shown a resort we were told we could use as we didnt like the one we were buying into. So.... we try and use it two years later, and find out that they want us to pay $410 a night per person ontop of the $10,000USD we have paid to stay anywhere. They dispute they showed us this resort, they dispute they didnt tell us we had to pay more once they admitted we were shown the resort. And so the saga goes on. We have been told we can have 2 free weeks there, which will come to the equivalent of the price we paid originally. Why would we want to do that, it doesnt solve the problem of having to pay more if we want a holiday there. Now we wait as we want out of this whole sorry mess. It leaves a very bad taste in the mouth. Husband is retiring this month and we thought we would be able to use our RCI membership without doubt as we bought into the higher levels of timeshare. Tried to find a place to go before February 2009, we have been told there is nothing on our side of the world. So we cant use the Royal Bali Club we cant use RCI. Well we can if we forever pay more, what was the point of paying into something we thought we would have for life and no more expense apart from air travel.
So people out there, beware Royal Bali Club and RCI. The directors and President must be laughing all the way to the bank.

We know a friend who has fallen into the same trap. I don't think i need to explain anything else in detail. Can u please tell me how you managed to get out of the contract or even get your deposits back. We are stuck at the moment and need desperate advice. Living in Australia. Thank you

This group is a very dangerous cheater. They took us to their South Goa resort. They showed some presentation. From the beginning itself we were asking them what is the package price but the person was saying first he wanted to discuss the benefits etc. and then he would tell the price for the same. My 6th sense said it was a fraud and decided not to take this whatever price they say. After a long wasting time he said it was Rs. 2,55,000 package for 5 years and he slightly mentioned about additional maintenance cost of Rs. 16000(Which will go up - he replied on being repeated asked) for every alternate year(You have to pay this whether you use the resort or not). They make it hostile situation once you pay the money. If you cancel it you have to forget the money forever. If you want to keep it you will have to pay maintenance charges every alternate year with whatever amount they decide. After completing the session i said a farm "NO". They started being rude after that and told me why i did not say no before.I said because you did not tell me the price before even I asked you lot of times. Now it depends on you when you wanted to hear "NO" from me. I walked out. I regret I wasted my precious time being there. Please never be there. I am thinking of filing lawsuit against them and alert everyone.Please help if anyone has done so. We should end this unscrupulous business.

1. mengancam mereka (mengancam untuk menulis di media dll dll) sampai mereka menyetujui pembatalan kontrak secara tertulis ?
ATAU
2. yaudah kami cuekin saja, toh kami sudah mengajukan email kepada mereka untuk membatalkan kontrak dan kami sudah memblokir kartu kredit kami.
3. setelah melakukan hal nomor 3, nyuekin mereka dan surat" dan peringatan yang pasti akan datang , apakah mereka bisa menuntut kami via hukum ? (menuntut kami untuk melunasi biaya keanggotaan sesuai kontrak? karena di kontrak disebutkan kalau mangkir pembayaran keanggotaan bisa dicabut tapi tagihan tetap harus dibayarkan *aneh kan ??)
mohon sharingnya dari teman" yang sudah lebih dulu mengalami ini.. apakah yang terjadi selanjutnya setelah kalian mengontak mereka untuk membatalkan kontrak - mereka menolak - kita blokir kartu kredit.. apakah permasalahan bisa stop sampai situ ? what is the worst case yang bisa mereka lakukan ? meneror kita ? menuntut kita ke pengadilan kah ???

1. seharusnya pemerintah provinsi bali sdh aware dan melakukanteguran atau tindakan hukum, (tp adem ayem aja)
2. bali lawyers club gak ada suaranya lg, bahkan domainnya sdh error

ini negara indonesia, hukum bs dibeli dengan uang, dan hukum tidak jelas.
pihak royal jg pasti tahu sehingga mereka hanya menakt nakuti korbannya dengan kontrak yg jelas2 merugikan konsumen.
jadi klo kontraknya kita robek pun gak masalah..krn mereka malas ngurusin konsumen yg sdh terlanjur bayar DP.
tugas utama royal karma group
- mencari sebanyak banyaknya member " korban" sehingga terjebak di dalam pembayaram DP. ini utk kelangsungan perusahaan ini.
hitung aja jika sehari sda sejitar 10 korban yg close maka revenu haram mereka sktr 100jt/hari dan rata2 semuanya cancel.
mereka pasti cape lah klo ngurusun kita yg cancel utk dituntut, krn yg cancel hampir semua, yg gak cancel ini yg mungkin kebanyakan uang atau takut (contohnya bule) yg taat aturan hukum. padahal merka gak tahu hukum di indonesia bs di utak atik.
- menakut nakuti kobran yg sdh terlanjur bayr DP dengan klausul2 bodoh di dlm perjanjian sehingga customer enggan utk opt out from membership
- melakukan ancaman / pengiriman surat peringatan jika pembayaran telat dan rajin menagih dengan penambahan bunga 2%
- mencari celah supaya uang customer tetap ditagihkan.
namun tugas utama dia gak pernah di penuhi malahan
- sales sengaja gak boleh kontak dengan customernya, tp diarahkan ke CS yg memang sdh dilatih utk menghadapi komplain dan punya teknik hipnotis via phone. sehingga tugas mereka hanya dilatih utk menghadapy complain namun product skill NOL BESAR
- CS yg seharusnya memberikan detail dr product dan informasi tidak cekatan dan malah menghindar utk memberikan CLEAR information mengenai paket2 yang sekiranya menarik.
kalau mau membatalkan, kirim email baik" ke mereka kalo anda mau membatalkan krn alasan pribadi .. sampaikan dengan baik" .. dan bilang kalau anda sadar bahwa uang yang sudah dibayarkan tidak akan dikembalikan.. sepertinya selama anda sampaikan dengan baik" dan anda belum memakai fasilitas mereka sama sekali DANNNN anda bisa MERELAKAN uang yang sudah anda bayarkan berapapun itu, mereka bersedia menstop keanggotaan.. jadi saran saya begitu 'sadar' langsung proses kirim email untuk tidak meneruskan keanggotaan jangan nunggu berminggu" .. dan JANGAN pakai fasilitasnya sama sekali.. dan yang terakhir RELAKAN uang yang sudah dibayarkan .. masalah akan menjadi pelik begitu anda menginginkan uang anda kembali :) .. oiya untuk keamanan anda sendiri sebaiknya blokir kartu kredit anda, minta ganti nomor n kartu baru :) selamat berjuang ya :)
