Getting charged by GRC Vita Power

Two months ago I ordered Proactive products and ever since have been receiving these "GRC Vita Power" vitamins that I did not order. Every month $65 is being taken out of my credit account. So I called BOA and got them to put a stop against VitaPower charging me the 33.94 each month. Hopefully that will stop them from charging me. When I called Proactive they gave me this number for VitaPower 888-684-9660. I tried calling but no one answered.

    I literally had the EXACT same issue. I told her the website was unclear that the vitamins were from a different company and when I canceled my order from Meaningful Beauty, I was lead to believe the vitamins would stop too because I ordered them from the same exact website. She told me "The website is very clear ma'am." I emailed customer service and I told them I refuse to pay for the return shipping. When I bring it to the post office today, I'll include a receipt showing them how much I paid and they better pay me.

    Same story for me. Neice ordered one box, got multiple months supply and then it was followed up with Vita Clear. Called credit card company who got a rep on the phone. Vita Clear is 1-888-848-2797 and Proactiv 1-800-235-6050. PITA because I have to pay shipping back on all these boxes and wait 4-6 weeks for credit card credit. Accounts must be closed or they will continue sending boxes..

    Same thing is happening to me.  I sent the order back via FEDEX just so I could be sure to track the package.  I called several weeks after I shipped it back and they acted like they got the return and said the credit would show up in 10 days.  It's been well over 10 days and my credit card just got another card and no credit.  I called the number above and they told me they never received the return.  I have to fax the tracking number to another number.  So the saga continues!  What a SCAM!!!

    Having the same issue.  Like Charasima I too took the option of "risk free", received initial shipment and canceled within the alotted days.  Also wrote to them when the bill came. Called them when they charged my card (obviously no one followed thru on the promise "we will credit you".  Had to file complaint with my credit card company to deny future charges AND Now they sent me to collections!!  Called 888-848-2797, some customer service---won't even speak to me referred me to another number, now closed cuz they're 5 hrs ahead!  The drama continues tomorrow.....
    I am so glad I happen to fall upon this site while looking for answers.  I feel enpowered with all this back up information. Mahalo!

    OMG I AM SOOOOO MAD RIGHT NOW! not only have they charged me twice for this and the only reason I knew what the charge was was because I googled it and found this but now i've been on hold for 30 mins and no one is answering OMG

    they just did this to me and charged me paperless form after deactivating accounts in wich i never created with proactive months ago and canceled i am furious with this company!

    also the charges are in the amountof $68.00 what the heck is this b!@#!, i talked with my bank and csr about deactivations on this pro-active and vita suck. and i will not pay for something i one never ordered plus never recieved and if i see another bill i will press charges, this can ruin anyones credit line!

    I finally got my credit and they didn't credit the full amount.  They took $60 of my money even thought I returned the product.  I can't believe this company is allowed to remain in business.

    I ordered ProActiv in April and cancelled the Vitamin order when I received my proactiv to make sure this wouldn't happen. I called back in July to verify it was cancelled and I now have a pending charge of $98.84 on my account that they're claiming they can't refund until 7-10 business days.  I've now cancelled my Proactiv as well.  Never again.

    Had the same scam; my wife ordered Proactive and told them to cancel the vitamins at that time.  We never did receive the Proactive and the company credited back our account.  That was the first part of July.

    August 4th I printed my bank statement and saw a charge for $32.94 from GRC*VITAMINS.  We have never received the Proactive or vitamins.  I called the (888) 848-2797 number and talked to a person that told me I would have to return the items for refund.  I talked to her supervisor (Margie #5448110) who said the same thing even though I have received nothing.  She said she has closed the account however.

    Called the Fraudulent Transactions department at Bank of America and filed a claim.  They are crediting back the entire $32.94 charge and investigating the claim.  The bank said that to stop any other charges from occurring you need to cancel that card and get a new one.

    I tried the 30day supply of the GRC Vitamins since I also tried Pro Active and it says to cancel before the 30days are up and you wont be billed, Im a busy single mom and forgot about it and not to mention the vitamins dont work at all! So I called them and the lady said when I recieve them to return it to them and I will get a refund, well its been a month and I haven't recieved them and I just got billed again for another set of vitamins! This time my statement says its a 2/3 payment of $33.94 they will be charging me? When I called a month ago they told me that it was canceled and I wouldnt be charged anymore? they never said anything about the 3 payments!Every time I call I get the run around theres no manager you can talk to its all very suspicious? I had to cancel my credit card just so that they wont keep charging me.I am reporting this to the Better Business Bureu (BBB) So Im hoping that they cant rip off others and cause them to have to jump threw hoops just to cancel it or get their money back. This is a total scam!!

    Same problem here and I am traveling through paris when I cought this amount taking my concentration off of relaxing on my trip.

    I had the exact same problem with not being able to cancel.  The customer service rep said, "Well, we're available 24/7."  Perhaps - but only if you know how to track them down and that takes several months of shipments!  I finally got their phone number from WEN Hair Care.  I decided to cancel WEN too - since it's their fault that I got caught up  in this shady operation.  
    DO NOT ACCEPT ANY "FREE" OFFERS FROM GRN VITAMINS OR VITA POWER. If you already have, cancel immediately at 1-888-848-2797 or by email at grnvitamins@cpu2.com.
    Can't wait for someone to file the class-action suit.

    What ended my problem was me making a final call back to VitaClear after still being charged more than 1 month after I sent the Vitamins to VitaClear, P.O. Box 360285, Des Moines, IA 50380 . The address that Vitaclear listed on their website. I do see someone post a different address, I don't know if that one works or not. The person on the phone was really nice. By this point, I had called them 3 times already, canceled my account several months ago, and got charged twice. They were billing me a third time because I changed my card. The guy told me that they process things really slowly, so even though the package probably arrived a long time ago, I was still getting charged just because. The whole system seemed flawed. He told me he would put under my record, immediately refund, and told me to ignore the bill. I did. Two weeks later, the money came back minus the shipping cost.
    Call them, quickly. Stay on the problem, do not just set it aside.

    The same thing just happened to me today.  This has bee going on for the last 4 months.  I have tried to cancel it and proactive even said they sent out a memo to this company to cancel it because I was furious about the charges that I did not know I would receive.  Since June I have moved and have not been receiving any more packages from them.  Until this last month I have seem 3 more charges of 35.97.  All of which I did not know I was getting and thought this issue has been taken care of.  I called today the number that was posted.  I talked to a Stephanie.  She informed me that my name was sent to their collection agency.  I asked to speak to a manager...she said that I could not and hung up on me.  I was FURIOUS! I called back.  Asked to speak to a manager right away.  He was able to help a little bit.  However, I still need to call to get a refund from their billing department.  I told them since I was not receiving any packages I can not return them.  They will be looking back on the transactions. He said I should be able to get a refund but I'm not so confident.  They owe me 180.00.  Any suggestions on who I could contact to help?

    What really stinks is that they charge you the first autoship BEFORE your trial is even over "to make sure that you receive the order in time." So sketchy! I have until 9-15-11 to see if they recieve my autoship for Proactive back. They don't have any record of my first request to cancel, nor do they have record of the product I refused. It came at least one week before my trial ended. Until then, I continue to get charged. Such a scam!
