Getting charged by GRC Vita Power

Complaint

Two months ago I ordered Proactive products and ever since have been receiving these "GRC Vita Power" vitamins that I did not order. Every month $65 is being taken out of my credit account. So I called BOA and got them to put a stop against VitaPower charging me the 33.94 each month. Hopefully that will stop them from charging me. When I called Proactive they gave me this number for VitaPower 888-684-9660. I tried calling but no one answered.

Seriously it must be a joke. Vitapower has been charging me the amount of $64 for the past 3 months.

Could someone please give me the correct email address or phone number that I could reach in order to solve this problem?

    Thank you so much

I have placed an order from proactiv.com .
But after that, the proactiv tell my credit card information to the GRCvitapower.
I do not know why they do that.
The GRCvitapower shipped me their items sereral times without my  permission .
And they charged me money from my card for several time.
I called them to  refund me the money.
But the asked me to return their items back ,so they can refund me the money.
I did as what they said.
but I still keep getting this charge from  GRCvitapower.

    what is the problem ?

I hope this puts an end to these charges

Call and just wait on the life...I just bitched them out and let them know that they NEED to refund my account because I never authorized this and that considering the pages and pages of complaints against them I'm surprised they are still in business of ripping people off and if I don't get my refund totally I will be calling again and I will be reporting them to the BBB. Prob will report them anyway. Absolutely ridiculous! I'm thinking of closing this card out and transferring to either another bank or just a new account in case they tried to sell my information or something since they obviously are in the business of ripping people off. I suggest some of you think about doing the same!

    Good Luck!!

i also have been charged every month without authorization for this GRC VitaPower product.  Thanks for the phone #!!!  i finally stopped payment on it.  I thought it was part of proactiv, i never authorized buying these supplements.  i dsicontinued proactiv awhile ago, and still got the supplements, I thought it was a mistake by Proactiv so i called them and they said it was a whole different department.  it was being charged to a card i never use, so unfortumately, i was not looking at my statements...lesson learned on that respect, but i am still furious about the money lost and the scam in which they trick people into buying their products.  i think this company needs to be stopped.  what does it say about a company when you google their product and the first page consists of complaints??  what does it say about a company when they can't sell their product on quality alone but have to trick people into buying it??? and proactiv has a hand in this too, allowing such a company to scam their customers.

My card had a charge from GRC Vita Power but it turned out to be for Endless Youth from Gunthy Renker Nutrition at 888-848-2797. UNless you say the call is for an order you will not get through. I got through and cancelled. We will see. If the charge shows up agin I will deny nit (you can do this on most credit cards). Your credit card will then pursue it for you - but watch your statements!

Gunthy Renker is in Palm Desert, CA. After canceling (keep the datE), you can lodge a complaint with the California Attorney General's Office if yo are billed again.

Vita Power is in North Carolina and you can lodge a complaint with that state's attorney general. Note that the phone number for Vita Power in North carolina is the same as for Gunthy Renker Nutrition in California.

Wow, all of those same things have happened to me, I really need to call them. I never authorized these payments! I ordered ProActive and got the same GRC product charges. I've never had this happen to me before. The first thing that I did was google GRC VITA POWER and the only things that I could find were these complaints. I can't believe this scam! Thanks for the number and e-mail!

I was pretty swindled by this company. When I did my Proactiv, it offered the supplements for free. I said sure, why not? Free. I should have never done it. I don't like to take pills of any kind and now that I think about it, I am not so sure I even trust an acne company with pills. I have been charged twice for these dang things and I haven't even opened one box! I opened the trial box and it has been sitting in the same spot ever since. I just called right now and have been on hold for seven minutes.
I sincerely hope they don't take much longer. I don't tend to be able to control my anger when it comes to money issues.
SkinID kind of did the same thing to me. I tried them before Proactiv and I moved so I called them and tried to change my address but the shipment had already gone out so the guy was really rude and straight said, you will have to pay for the shipment even if you haven't gotten it and then pay for a new shipment. I tried to talk to his boss but apparently he had gone home for the day.
I am soo sick of everyone being out for themselves. Everyone is so greedy. What about the little person who has only a little money and an acne problem? How can they justify charging you 35 dollars for something you don't use and NEVER intended to actually buy? Ridiculous, frickin' ridiculous.

This group of companies is nothing but hell to deal with. Sure you get your make-up, and the unwanted lousy vitamins, but you also get a monthly statement showing another charge of 33.94. When they do ship again, it's after your bank fraud department has reversed their charges that you complained about (you should have done this by now). They ship some crap and then use the Zip delivery proof of that little shipment to show the bank something of compliance. The bank then overturns your credit back and you get screwed. Even if you did a verbal, one-time order on the 800 number, they will screw you by opening a line of credit you did not authorize, and start a fictious monthly billing. Like we are in now: TURNED OVER TO COLLECTIONS WITH A FIRM CALLED NSA NORTH SHORE AGENCY. All you can do is close your bank card account and continue to complain, BUT, only after you return the crap in the same box UN-OPENED to the Post Office!!! FIGHT BACK...COPY THIS THESE COMPLAINTS AND INCLUDE THEM TO THE COLLECTION AGENGY, AND SEND THEM TO THE COMPANY AND SEND THEM TO THE COMSUMER AFFAIRS OFFICE IN D.C. AND YOUR STATE. My email is randyjackson.tx@gmail.com Email me with your sucessful/stressful remedies.

FTC settlement with Expert Global Solutions and its subsidiaries, including NCO and NOrth Shore Agency.

      http://www.ftc.gov/opa/2013/07/nco.shtm

      "For Release: 07/09/2013
World's Largest Debt Collection Operation Settles FTC Charges, Will Pay $3.2 Million Penalty
Largest Civil Penalty Ever Obtained by the FTC Against a Third-party Debt Collector

The world’s largest debt collection operation, Expert Global Solutions and its subsidiaries, has agreed to stop harassing consumers with allegedly illegal debt collection calls and to pay a $3.2 million civil penalty – the largest ever obtained by the Federal Trade Commission against a third-party debt collector.

In its complaint, the FTC charged that the companies violated the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and the FTC Act by using tactics such as calling consumers multiple times per day, calling even after being asked to stop, calling early in the morning or late at night, calling consumers’ workplaces despite knowing that the employers prohibited such calls, and leaving phone messages that disclosed the debtor’s name, and the existence of the debt, to third parties.  According to the FTC’s complaint, the companies also continued collection efforts without verifying the debt, even after consumers said they did not owe it.

Under the proposed order, whenever a consumer disputes the validity or the amount of the debt, the defendants must either close the account and end collection efforts, or suspend collection until they have conducted a reasonable investigation and verified that their information about the debt is accurate and complete.  The proposed order also restricts situations in which the defendants can leave voicemails that disclose the alleged debtor’s name and the fact that he or she may owe a debt.

Also under the proposed order, the defendants must:  stop falsely representing that they will not call a number to collect a debt; not harass, oppress, or abuse a consumer while attempting to collect a debt; not communicate with third parties about a consumer’s debt; not communicate with a consumer at his or her workplace if it is clearly inconvenient or prohibited by the consumer’s employer; except in limited circumstances, cease communications if a consumer has requested no further contact or if a consumer refuses to pay a debt; and not violate any provision of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.  The defendants also are required to record at least 75 percent of all their debt collection calls beginning one year after the date of the order, and retain the recordings for 90 days after they are made.

With more than 32,000 employees and revenues in 2011 of more than $1.2 billion, the Texas-based Expert Global Solutions and its subsidiaries – ALW Sourcing, LLC; NCO Financial Systems, Inc.; and Transworld Systems, Inc., which also does business as North Shore Agency, Inc. – collectively are the largest debt collector in the world.  In addition to their U.S. offices, the companies operate in Canada, Barbados, India, the Philippines, and Panama.

    tired of fraud
How does a 14 year old use one parent's credit card and another parent's address to place an online order?! None of the info matched. When I inquired how such a transaction was managed, I got the I don't know and we can only reimburse partial payment. Really!! Fraudulent charges to my account and I only get partial reimbursements! This company needs to be audited and come to me for the latest scam example.

I never even received these so-called vitamins. I was charged $76.11 in total for both payments. As a result of this stupid scam, I've been overdrafted in my account.
