September 25, 2010, my MC was charged $24.95 without my knowledge or authorization. I called SEM budget Savers and complained. I was told I would be credited. Let's see if they do.

    This is ridiculous, I got charged for 29.95 and I have never even heard of budget savers. I called the 800-475-1942 and they were happy to give me a refund.

    They have been taking money out of my account each month and I had no idea why. Thanks for the phone number, maybe I can get this stopped now. I have never gotten anything from them either.

    I was charged twice this month and I have absolutely no idea what this is. I don't remember using my card on this thing. I want my money back because I don't know what you guys give me for the money you guys took out this month. And you guys charged me 29.95 twice this month.

    This has been happening to me too. They have been charging me 29.95 dollars two days in a damn row on my walmart debit card [good thing I didn't use my bank vista card]! It completely screwed me over on getting my mother a game she has been wanting for Christmas! By the time I put money on the card, they dip in and completely drain it until my amount is -2.50!

    I just got my bank statement today and on Nov.10 & 16th I was charged $1.00 & $29.95. I'm going to call these people and try to get this stopped or close my account at the bank.

    This just happened to me after I ordered a knife over the internet, I was charged $1. and then $29.95 and have no idea what for.  I, am going to the bank to get this stopped!!!!

    When you purchase As seen on TV items or certain things over the internet and don't read the full terms of use or policies, there was a section in my purchase when i bought EasyFeet about SEM savers. It automatically enrolls you! Watch out- they're not the scammers- the shady items you're buying are. I just called and gave them my name and told them I wanted to cancel and be reimbursed and they were extremely helpful.

    I also was charged for something i did not order, I'am going to ask my bank i will dispute this also,this should be band from getting on line they sure have enough complints.

    F**k SEM Budget Savers, they have withdrawed $29.95 twice in the time period of 6 months. I want my money back.

    I too found a mysterious charge of $29.95 on my debit card after purchasing Mighty Fixit Tape the previous day and being over charged for things I didn't order through an aggressive automated sales pitch.  I received a refund from the people selling Mighty Fixit, or most of it.  I never heard anything about subscribing to something from
    SEM Budget Savers.  How would one insure $10 worth of plastic tape for $29.95?
    I called for a reimbursement, indeed answerer said I would be refunded but would not tell me what I had supposedly purched.  I immediately cashed out the debit card and purchased a new one.
    This early morning I checked my balance on the old one and I'd received a refund of $1.00.  
    I'm calling the police and notifying the Texas attorney general to stop these people.

    SEM Budge Services-aka "scum"!
    It began in November, when my Chase credit card was charged $24.95,  we did not notice it and they continued charging the card for 3 addditional months until I called them @ the number providied by my bank...800-475-1942. They sent me a letter stating they were discontinuing my "Service" which amouned to "O" in service. I just received my Credit card statement and they have charged me $24.95 again.
    I am filling a "Dispute" with my credit card company(Chase)which will block future charges!

    I too have a charge on my account for 29.95 from budget savers, notified my bank to stop the payment and will call budget savers on the 2nd. who are they anyway?????

    What the heck ??? I was charged $29.95 by this site and have no idea what it is for?  I will have the charges reversed tomorrow.  How does that happen?

    I found out which shady company deals with these people to screw us all. You remember the ad on TV about the Sobakowa Pillow. They are the ones who are in league with these thieves so for heavens sake don't buy one of these pillows!!!
     Bottom line don't buy anything advertised on TV!!!

    I also ordered a product online but then received a phone call from these Sem people who charged my card $1.00 but never sent anything. After reading all these complaints I called them and cancelled but I dont trust them so I also changed my credit card.

    Same problem here. I got a phone call concerning a purchase I made on an item advertised on TV and offered me $$$ coupons for some kind of membership in some store. I told them I not interested and they insisted that I can cancell it within 30 days. I was initially charged $1.00 on December 24, 2010 on my credit card and was told that I would receive details on whatever offer for $$$ coupon for free purchases within 14 days and was told that I can cancell the membership before the 30 days is up. I did not receive anything and it is not even 30 days yet and they charged me $29.95 on January 7, 2011. I am disputing this charge with my credit card company to reverse the charge. I will also file a complaint to the FTC and our State Attorney General for this fraudulent practice.

    I am out of work, because of health reasons and I just found a bill from Sem Budget Savers :'(.  They said I signed up for some magazine back in April and they have been charging me all this time???  I don't understand why I am now seeing it.  And I have not ordered magazines in years, all they do is collect dust here.  I told them to close the acct. and I want my money back - I am out of work and this is NO "Budget Saver" for me.
