September 25, 2010, my MC was charged $24.95 without my knowledge or authorization. I called SEM budget Savers and complained. I was told I would be credited. Let's see if they do.

    I just got called from the same people.  They wanted my credit card number, "the one that expires on 1/14".  I said, I have several, which one is it? The woman said they don't share that information among different offices.  Yeah, right.  So I put her on hold, even though I had all my card numbers in front of me, and I did a quick Internet search and found this page with all your comments.  So thanks to everyone who posted in the past!  You helped save me and a lot of others a huge amount of hassle, I am sure!  I came back on the line, told her I wasn't interested, and to put us on their Do Not Call list.  

    Here's what I can add:  she gave me this phone number as the one you are supposed to call with 14 days of THE DAY THEY CALL YOU!!!  I made sure to ask all the questions no one knew in the posts above and elsewhere.  THIS IS THE CANCELLATION PHONE NUMBER I WAS GIVEN:  1-800-475-1942.  I didn't try it.  Good luck to all!

    Belinda, That makes me really mad that they would take advantage of someone who needs their energy to fight the battle to get their health back.

    I checked my account today and noticed an unauthorized 29.95 charge. I "politely" cursed them out and found out they had charged me twice before!! I am getting three refunds of 29.95 within 5-7 business days and if I do not by then they will be recieving a phone call from my brother who is a lawyer AND a judge! Good luck to everyone else.

    They got me too I did authorize it for one dollar for intial sign up fee. I was supposed to recieve a information pack within 2 or 3 days. I was supposed to get a 14 day trial period for that one dollar and if I thought it wasn't for me I could cancel and not be charged the 29.95 a month fee.  They never sent me the pack and charged me the 29.95 anyway. Its sunday and their office is closed but I am going to call them at 8 when they open and demand a refund. If they don't I definetly am going to call my bank and then a lawyer.

    On Jan 12 2012 I was on line looking at my credit cards checking my bal. when I noticed a charge for $1.00 made on 12/28/2011.  Then on 12/30/2011 there was a credit issued for $1.00 from this company.  I called my credit card co. and asked if they could stop this comp. from using my card.  The lady at the credit card comp. said the only way I can stop them is to close my account and have a new card issued. Which I did.
    If anyone is fighting this company for a refund, it might be best to close your account that way they can longer use your account.
    I have also passed the information about the scam to my friends in hopes that they don't get caught in the scam.

    Yet again another victim! I called and canceled, they credited my credit card, then charged me again the next month!I have yet to call my credit card company to dispute this charge.

    I was charged the $29.95 on my debit card which took me to an overdraft, so not only is the $29.95 charge on my account but a $25 charge also for an overdraft.  Like everyone else, I was suckered into paying a $1 (after ordering something from an infocommercial) but have not received anything. I called the 800-475-1942 number and it said they were closed but you could visit www.programstopped.com- that is a joke cause all that website shows is a list of other websites that have nothing to do with Budget Savers.

    How are these people???? I got charges I never authorized! No mail came to my home and no Number to call on credit card bill! I am very angry about this!

    I bought SPACE SAVER Bags and they called about budget charging my account and I'll receive some mail with a toll free number to cancel my subscription that I never subscribed to in the first place. Long story short...I never received any mail and they claim I have 10 days to cancel my account or I will be charged $29.95 a month!!!I am unemployed and I do not have money in the first place. I called the number the  bank gave me and they have a recording saying they are no open right now! I will contact the class action suit and the Better business Bureau as well.

    Call these people and they will cancel your "account" and refund your money. The woman I spoke acted as if she had gotten 100 of those calls today, so they are used to it and can take care of the problem quickly.

    It is evidently not technically a "scam", but something they can sign you up for via select online purchases, and if you don't cancel within 5 days they will start charging you. Gotta read the fine print

    They told me my card was declined once so they ran it again, and it went through for the 1.00. they kept insisting "I signed up for this "whatever"" I told them I did not sign up for anything. She said I could fill out a form to get my dollar back....so I called my bank and they changed my card and blocked them and I also contacted the attorney general. This is crazy.

      OH, and the reason I found it was that i saw a charge on my statement so I googled the company name and found the website and all these complaints.

    I was charged 29.95! and i dont even know who this people are!!!  I called and they cancel right away and said they will refund my money!

    thay took out 29 95  out of my pre paid account and did not tell them to .i need my money back bad i dont need this service i  am poor and dont have any money to b giving out .like that.

    I also called to see who they were - talked to a Naomi - she said that I would be refunded the money - this has been going on for a long time with SEM Budget.  I believe it is time to start filing complaints with your State AG office!!

    Same complaint.  I ordered nothing was charged $29.95 to my Credit Card.  I called on Saturday and didn't understand what the man was saying, so I'll call on Monday and see what happens.
