September 25, 2010, my MC was charged $24.95 without my knowledge or authorization. I called SEM budget Savers and complained. I was told I would be credited. Let's see if they do.

    My father NEVER talked to anyone, and TLG, MVQ and SEM started charging his card - he ordered something online.  He didn't catch it for five months.  SEM is offering a refund, MVQ partial.  BUT, it has to be to the same card number.  Yeah, right.  That sucker got changed the second he told me what was happening.  There have already been numerous lawsuits in different states - I think SEM had to pay $25 million settlement for one of them.

    Same thing happen to me.  No packet, no $100 gas card, just debits to my charge card.  I filed a dispute.  Still waiting to get my money reversed.  A scam, indeed!

    I just noticed this charge against our credit card and I have NO idea how it got there.  These characters have been charging our account $24.95 every month since September 2010 and I have NEVER talked to them or been contacted by them to our knowledge.  Every offer like this--which usually includes "...you can cancel at any time..." that comes up when we try to order something else has been turned down FLAT.

    Did not receive anything in the mail after 2 weeks.  I Called 1-800-475-1942 and they promptly canceled the service.

    ooohhh nooooooo !! One of these days I will learn to trust my gut feeling. I had ordered "Plaque Attack" for my dog. After further reading the ingredients (grape seed ) i called and immediatly canceled the order. No problem with them. HOWEVER....I get a call from the SEM Budget Savers the next day...with a great savings membership and 100 dollars worth of gas credit vouchers...ok..I'll check it out..... they will charge one dollar to my debit card...then i have 2 weeks to cancel... but keep the gas vouchers as our gift.So far.. no packet....  OH geez... thanks for the info here good people !

    This budget savers is a group of people who have scams and will worry you to death. they did this to me when I ordered some one second needles seen on tv. when i called to order these people got on the line and would not stop. along with that there was shoppers advantage, and another one called great fun site .com.I cancelled that right away

    has anyone got the $100 in gas and used it?
    I'm still waiting for my stuff to come, but I only got involved last week.
    I ordered the "pet loungee" for my car, and that's how budget savers got my number. I guess they are working together. thanks

    Budget Savers, without authorization, has been deducting 29.95 from my account for at least six months.  I am in the process of reviewing my transaction history possibly going back a year.

    Is there any way that we can file a Class A suit against these [***].  This economy sucks and now we have these ants stealing our money.  I'm currently receiving unemployment and can't afford to spend one cent to put food on the tables of sons-of-b******.  C'mon guys, let's crack a whip and tan some hide.  If either of us had pulled this crapp, we would under a jail; and although under the jail, we would probably still be equipped with an ankle bracelet.

    As a  matter of fact, let's take "Buzzard Suckers" to Judge Judy.

    Same as above--never heard of these people-I have no record of speaking with them--if I can't get thru to them I will cancel my cards and go to another bank they will get no more $$$from me--each bank has a fraud dept. call that dept. lets see how thet do for their customers

    This whole thing is a scam. I have tried calling the phone number for SEM Budget Savers and get a recording asking for my access number. When you fail to give them one you get cut off. How can you give them a number you never received or asked for. I am calling my bank tomorrow. Enough already. Who do they think they are???

I am also going to file a complaint with the Attorney General. They never had permission to charge my account $29.95 and this has been going on way too long.

    I called SEM thanks to your posting the phone number here and they canceled my "membership" without argument as of today. I'll check my credit card daily to make sure they really have stopped charging me. If they do, they'll get quite a surprise--I tape-recorded the conversation including date of canceling and confirmation number.

    It just happened to me too. I got a text message on my cell phone that I was charged on my Debit Card $29.95
    When I call the number that appeared as reference, the operators that answer my call, started to make all kind of questions such my full name, address where I work and stuff like that. When I started to decline to bring my personal information, they told me that if I didn't bring the information they cannot give any information as well. Finally they agreed to remove my information from their system and won't be charged at all. But after that I search on Internet the Company and I found all these message aboard. I'm calling now to my Capital One account to know what to do next

    the same thing just happend to me.  first they charged $1.00  then they charged $29.95.  I am calling Monday to cancel my card...Would love to know how they get this info....

    We have dealt with this company twice.  First under TLG Shoppers Advantage who took 19.95 from our account late in April 2011 and then as SEM  Budget Savers for $29.95.  All because my husband thought that a $50 gas car sounded great.  Have told them that we want out 3 times now and get a "stop number", we cancelled three days after he talked to them first, then after they pulled the first money and again when they did it under Budget Savers.

    Our bank is saying that if we protest in writing they will take off the charge and block them from our account.  Hopefully that is true.

    i just recently got a phone call from sem budget and savers,they charged my credit card took my money right from me with no notice at all.thats not right at all i didnt tell them to take the money from,they said they were gonna send me gift cards,gas cards of $100 dollars and walmart gift card for $25 dollars, i never received these things at all,but they took my $30 from my account.they need to be reported right away.
