Omitting information, hidden charges

I saw an advertisement offering 4 posters for $2.00 each. I ordered four posters, and when I checked my credit card statement I saw a $39.00 charge. I never agreed to this!  

I went to their website and discovered that they enroll you into some kind of membership. The terms and conditions of this service are not clearly posted on the order page. I think they do this on purpose to hide the fact that the customer will be billed more than he expects.

Their terms of service do not even specify how much they charge for shipping and handling. It's clearly a violation. Every customer is not aware how much they will take from the credit card. Here is from their site

"Your initial order will be shipped to you within 10 days of your ordering. Please wait at least 2 weeks from order to receive your initial order. A one-time handling fee  will be added to your order. Cancel anytime by calling us at 877-807-2929."

I called to cancel my "membership" right away.

Please note that they will charge you a whopping $9.95 per poster, plus a shipping and handling fee.

Run from this company. I hope someone gives them a lesson and closes their business.

    I thought $25.00 for five posters? Not a bad deal, right? Got the special hidden charge of $49.95 before my posters arrived. $ 15.00 APIECE for a poster I would pay more than $8.00 for. Nothing in the order site to tell you your going to get the hell screwed out of you. The Government won't do anything because they get taxes on sales one way or another. If someone would just do proper buisness they'd make a killing. This hidden charge scam hurts everyone.

    this is a scam these company should be put out of business for ripping people off i cant believe they can do this. they been charging me $240 i tried contacting them to cancel but its impossible.

    I am down for the class action texadian101@gmail.com I was cool with the initial purchase bc I saw the $20 estimate for the s&h so the first charge was expected for around $30 and I was right it came out to $34. But less than a week later I received 2 more posters at $48 and again a week later for another week later for $48. Didn't notice it at first bc I balance my own checkbook and go online to look at my online balance 2 times a month to make sure the ledgers match. I called the customer service and her explanation to me was that I changed the frequency of new poster to be sent from 1 month to 1 week! Yeah right why the heck would I do that. I totally want in on the class action baby!

    I too was fooled by this company. I have 3 individual charges on my credit card although I only ordered once and that was for 4 posters at their "$2.00" apiece. I am furious about this company. Two of the charges are for $44.00 and one for $39.00. All this for 4 posters????????? I also wish to be included if there is a suit against this company. There must be a way to do someting if everybody puts their heads together. We are not stupid people. Lets think of a way !!!!

    I'm in the process of submitting for a refund of what I was charged ($130 for 8 posters). I hope all goes well with it. Please include me in any correspondence concerning a class action suit. Lord know how many people have been taken in by this and feel helpless and can't/won't do anything about it. I may have been just like them if I hadn't stumbled across this post. Thanks everyone.

    i had this done recently from poster pass.com. they don't tell you there is a bigger fee once you agree to the 4 posters . I got charged 39.99 after receiving the four posters. i also had two posters shipped for 9.99 each and again last week another two posters charged 9.99 each plus shipping and handling.  I called to cancel and get money back they refuse to take posters back and refund money. So now i have posters i never ask for plus fees of 39.99 plus 9.99 times four posters =69.95

    oh watch out from them taking your money from your account after you cancel your account. I also had PL INC. who also sales poster pass.com posters take 48.00 out of my account.
    I tried calling 847 424 0954 and no one answer i get a recording. they represent 4 companies besides poster pass.com. I had left several complaints and messages for money to be put in my account. NO response.
    i called back the number for poster pass to make a complaint about PL. inc who sales their stuff and the lady said just mail back we will refund. becareful that they actually cancel and not send account to PL INC to take money out of account.

    I am furious, my card was charged over 34.00 on an order of 2.00 a poster and I ordered four. The never mentioned what the shipping charge was though I tried to find out. I never agreed to any membership, or do they automatically do so without your authorization. YES, I would be interested in a class action suit.

    I would like to be a part of getting this company what it deserves.  I ordered from this company 4 posters for $2.00 a piece, almost $90.00 later. No where in oder did it say anything about membership or that much shipping.  
    My bank even called to verify charges of almost $8.00,  then a couple days later they billed me $33.95 then $48.00, days later.  I'am furious right now!

    I called postpass at 277 807-2929 and thy told me they would cancell my membership and fund the 39.99 cahrges back to my visa account
