Omitting information, hidden charges

I saw an advertisement offering 4 posters for $2.00 each. I ordered four posters, and when I checked my credit card statement I saw a $39.00 charge. I never agreed to this!  

I went to their website and discovered that they enroll you into some kind of membership. The terms and conditions of this service are not clearly posted on the order page. I think they do this on purpose to hide the fact that the customer will be billed more than he expects.

Their terms of service do not even specify how much they charge for shipping and handling. It's clearly a violation. Every customer is not aware how much they will take from the credit card. Here is from their site

"Your initial order will be shipped to you within 10 days of your ordering. Please wait at least 2 weeks from order to receive your initial order. A one-time handling fee  will be added to your order. Cancel anytime by calling us at 877-807-2929."

I called to cancel my "membership" right away.

Please note that they will charge you a whopping $9.95 per poster, plus a shipping and handling fee.

Run from this company. I hope someone gives them a lesson and closes their business.

    They took $327.55 from my credit card. I am disputing it with my credit card company. I also filled with the better business bureau of Illinois online. I also got a form with Lisa Madigan, Illinois Attorney General Consumer Fraud bureau 1(800)243-0618. I have not continued anything else because I can't find any order numbers or shipment dates or anything to back me up. The only thing I have is that UPS says that the returned items were received and signed for. They won't give me detailed info because I don't have the order numbers. I hope someone out there has more sense then me and kept some order numbers, dates and names of people contacted. cecilia.johnjessi.7@gmail.com

    I cancelled 2 years ago and they have charged my account this year and sent 2 postersin December. Have you filed a suit?

    I ordered the 4 posters at $2.00 a piece thinking it was like a music or book club, that PosterPass would send me an email and I could accept or decline any future posters.  I was charged for SIX more shipments at $39.98 each in the following week and received the six shipments.  I sent the posters back immediately and have been wrangling with them since to get my money back.

    I have called 8 times, email previously .. no one answers.. have been charged last month $79!!! out of my account .. is there any way of getting back close to $400!!!!!! of charges ..

    They have charged me twice got $ back the first they said they was sending it this time still nothing $79.00 now there phone number doesn't work. is this lasuit still in progress?

    OMG the same thing happened to me. I paid $8 for the first order. then was charged 39.00 for another shipment that i didnt agree to. then after i cancelled they charged me $79 and never even sent any posters!!! I had called and requested a refund twice, also on the website i requested one!! I want my money back!! I would like to be apart of the class action suite if there is one pending. shaniece82@hotmail.com

    I am in favor of a "class action lawsuit" with this company. They ripped me off of $80 dollars for two sets of posters that I didn't order back in July 2009. I've called countless times and was lied to by 8 different people in their supposed call center???? Now the website has moved and we all know that they have probably moved because they're scamming all of us!!!

    i still havent gotten my refund from this company. i placed an order which i received but i also received 7 other packages in the week following. i canceled my membership, sent the boxes back, and have filled out the refund request multiple times. wtf. is anyone having the same issue? is there anyone who has a better way of contacting them? has any suit been filed? inform me plzzzzzzzz
