I saw an advertisement offering 4 posters for $2.00 each. I ordered four posters, and when I checked my credit card statement I saw a $39.00 charge. I never agreed to this!

I went to their website and discovered that they enroll you into some kind of membership. The terms and conditions of this service are not clearly posted on the order page. I think they do this on purpose to hide the fact that the customer will be billed more than he expects.

Their terms of service do not even specify how much they charge for shipping and handling. It's clearly a violation. Every customer is not aware how much they will take from the credit card. Here is from their site

"Your initial order will be shipped to you within 10 days of your ordering. Please wait at least 2 weeks from order to receive your initial order. A one-time handling fee  will be added to your order. Cancel anytime by calling us at 877-807-2929."

I called to cancel my "membership" right away.

Please note that they will charge you a whopping $9.95 per poster, plus a shipping and handling fee.

Run from this company. I hope someone gives them a lesson and closes their business.

Here is a link to their Terms of Service. Please read carefully before making your decision.

If you call either of their two phone numbers, they hang up on you.
I am out an additional $79 due to their fraudulent charges.

There are two contact addresses for them:

    Posterpass.com
    P.O. Box 4004
    Evanston, IL 60204

That's the one on their Website, so it's bogus. Like both of their phone numbers. Equifax and GeoTrust are supporting this fraud by attaching their names and Web certificates to them.

The one I got from the credit card company:

    Posterpass.com
    990 Grove Street
    Evanston, IL 30201

I should have known better than to do business with anyone from Illinois.

Is this how the Illinois State Attorney General does his job?

This criminal enterprise has been operating for at least three years this way!

Why are they not in jail?

A little bribe money in the right place, maybe?

They seem to just pick a number they think they can get away with and charge away.

I'm told I'll get a refund of the $79 they charged me and that the account is closed. We'll see.

BTW, the phone numbers online are useless. They hung up on me.

This company charged my debit card 5 times in one week for 39.80 before I knew it I was in overdraft with my bank recieving 10 over draft charges of $30 each before I could get the card turned off. I returned all the posters I recieved and would jst like to get m money back. Add my name to the list if we are going to get together a class action suit. This company should be out of business.

I can't believe I'm seeing all this on here I just got off the phone with my credit card company after getting my latest bill. I had signed up for 5 posters for 25 dollars through a myspace promo and then have been charged $79 every 3 or 4 days. I didnt even get my the posters I had selected, they sent me two and they were the wrong ones. This is unreal that so many people are on here and this place is still in business. They need to go down...hard

Well I bought something on august and after the first scam order I cancelled but they seemed to have already billed 4 items on my card. I had to wait for all the items to come to my home, then I returned them. I had to wait 3 weeks for them to get to poster pass and then 30-60 days. On November 8th their time was up. I have not gotten a thing from poster pass. I am in for a class action suit.

Well it sounds like a whole bunch of people have been ripped off by these crooks. I bought 4 posters in 2008. Just this month ( 1 year later ) they debited my account again without any authoization of notification. I have made multiple calls with negative results. I am sending a letter now, but will probably have the same result. A class action lawsuit is in order. Count me in deasley37@yahoo.com

Just to let all of you know, I am pressing criminal charges in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin and most notably Illinois against their company. If you could, please send details about your complain. (When you signed up, when you canceled, how much they charged you, where your order took place, etc)

If there is a class action suit going on, let me know. Otherwise, I'll see about starting it.

    Email: rbobholz@gmail.com

Thank you all, and I sincerely hope we can resolve our collective issue.

I did get a refund so maybe I'm one of the people who aren't that angry.  I spoke to CustomerService@posterpass.com and I got my refunds in a week.
