I saw an advertisement offering 4 posters for $2.00 each. I ordered four posters, and when I checked my credit card statement I saw a $39.00 charge. I never agreed to this!

I went to their website and discovered that they enroll you into some kind of membership. The terms and conditions of this service are not clearly posted on the order page. I think they do this on purpose to hide the fact that the customer will be billed more than he expects.

Their terms of service do not even specify how much they charge for shipping and handling. It's clearly a violation. Every customer is not aware how much they will take from the credit card. Here is from their site

"Your initial order will be shipped to you within 10 days of your ordering. Please wait at least 2 weeks from order to receive your initial order. A one-time handling fee  will be added to your order. Cancel anytime by calling us at 877-807-2929."

I called to cancel my "membership" right away.

Please note that they will charge you a whopping $9.95 per poster, plus a shipping and handling fee.

Run from this company. I hope someone gives them a lesson and closes their business.

Here is a link to their Terms of Service. Please read carefully before making your decision.

Just another guy that got scammed; I ordered posters from them over a year ago and paid the ridiculous amount they charged, having chalked it up to my stupidity.  I canceled the account and now, literally 18 months later, I have ANOTHER charge on my account for 79.00.  Out of the blue this company comes and bites me in the [***] AGAIN.  I'm not sure i'd be in for a class action suit; the cost alone would be more than the 79.00 they charged me this time + the cost of the last time, but I'd be more than willing to sign an affidavit stating their wrongdoing.

My husband, like a lot of you, signed up over a year ago to get a few posters. He eventually ended the subscription due to PosterPass constantly debiting his account and sending posters he did not order. Now, a year later, we have a $79 "authorized" transaction out of our account. Multiple calls to customer service (5 so far) has gone nowhere. Our bank told us to dispute the charge, cancel the card which the transaction was authorized (now my husband is out of a debit card for at least 7 business days), and file a police report. I am very angry about this, being that it is the holiday weekend and this "company" is stealing our money!

If you canceled your subscription, ANY authorized transaction is illegal. They do NOT have the rite to debit ANYONE any monies for transactions that did not take place. I find it peculiar that a bunch of these complaints just showed up within a few days of each other - I wonder if this "company" is up to something.

Hey, this just happened to me too. I was underage at the time, so they refunded me my money, but this was over a year ago! Just when I thought I was forever done with these theives, and nearly placed them out of my mind forever, I woke up to a fun little Thanksgiving present of -79 dollars in my account.

I signed up for the 4 poster last year (2008), went through the same story, was charged over $500 before I realized what was going on. Called and cancelled and was supposed to be refunded but never was. The charges finally stopped, however, this month (Nov 2009). I started getting charges again from posterpass.com and I quickly called to get them to reverse the charges and the story I got was that they are having a "computer glitch" and that previous customers that have cancelled are getting charged AGAIN!!! Got me for another $200+!!!!! They do not answer their customer service line to cancel, have to use 847-424-0954 option 7 (new orders) to get ahold of anyone.  If their is a class action, please count me in!!!

I am also a victim of PosterPass. I bought the initial 3 posters, and refused 3 other orders of posters. I canceled my account with them after the first shipment and am still waiting for my money back. But seeing how they have had so many problems, I doubt they will return anything, and now the ante went up to $79? I have had to cancel my bank account and re-assign all of my bills and such. Please email me if anyone has any news about these guys where I can get my money back hopefully. I am only a poor college student. :/

It appears their company is no longer taking phone calls.  Calls to resolve another unauthorized charge have resulted in "All circuits are busy" or "All our customer service reps are serving other clients."  I have left two messages with their answering service and have not received a single call.

I would suggest anyone with an unauthorized charge contact their credit card company ASAP and request an immediate charge back.  Report your charge as an unauthorized charge and report that your card has been compromised.

You can also file a complaint with the Illinois State Attorney's office.

This company is crap! Ordered like two posters when I was i college 2 years back, they charged my account twice, I called them with no problems got my money and cancelled my account. Ok now flashback to three weeks ago, they charge my account twice for 79 bucks, That's 158 dollars. This time no one answers the phones called them everyday at least 4 times per day. Had to go down to my bank and fill out a report and cancelled my debit card.

Someone needs to sue this company, now I'm eating pasta every dam night cause it happened during the holiday season.

I had the same problem. They deducted 2x $79 from my account within 1 week and 1 year after I cancelled my account.

I went to the better business bureau homepage anf files a complaint within 5 minutes and one week later I had the money back into my account. I can only recommend doing that!

I too ordered once about 6 month ago for the same $2.and change and canceled for the same reason, and now they billed me again but $79.00 twice and did not order the damed posters,  now I have to deal with the card company to get my money back. Yes I would like to file a class suit the nerve of this co.

I have had this company take me to and I can not get a loan from my bank because I thought they had taken care on my charges that they had charged my debit card and  overdrawn my account. But I just found out they have not and they will not answer my calls when I call. Lets get this company it looks like they are still in business.( How can that be????????)

They took $327.55 from my credit card. I am disputing it with my credit card company. I also filled with the better business bureau of Illinois online. I also got a form with Lisa Madigan, Illinois Attorney General Consumer Fraud bureau 1(800)243-0618. I have not continued anything else because I can't find any order numbers or shipment dates or anything to back me up. The only thing I have is that UPS says that the returned items were received and signed for. They won't give me detailed info because I don't have the order numbers. I hope someone out there has more sense then me and kept some order numbers, dates and names of people contacted. cecilia.johnjessi.7@gmail.com
