Received 3 calls from these guys from 559-328-2353 at my office claiming to be some kind of Official US Branch of Govt. Anyways I called them to see what this was all about, and they couldn't get their names straight, So I asked for their address and the guy just hangs up. Its a SCAM of some kind for sure so don't fall for it.

    2 calls from james clark 866 985 8414 saying from legal affairs very heavy indian accent just to let all know this is another number these [***] are using

    I recieved an email from a Paul Wheeler. It says that thru an IRS that my SS# will be put on hold. And if I dont respond within 24 hours legal action will be taken.

    I have received 5 phone calls over the past three days claiming to be from the Dept of Legal
    Affairs in the IRS informing me that they have a legal petition??? accusing me of tax fraud and that I should contact them at 717.268.9587.  I firmly rebuked the caller and hung up..  I received the same call the next day.  Isn't there some way to shut this scam down.  It is very irritating!

    Received a call from a Maria Smith with the dept of legal affairs w/US treasury. Very hard to understand. Number was 866-694-9547. She said there was a law enforcement action under my name and if I was "busy to call back", have my attorney do it for me in order to "avoid a legal mess for me". Sounds professional, doesn't it?
    These people crack me up, but unfortunately, there are some who believe their scams.

    My caller was Anthony Walker, same message, even more surprising is that a representative for dept. of legal affairs woul wish me a BLESSED DAY.  I don't know which irritates me more, how STUPID Anthony Walker is or how stupid he thinks I am.

    Just had the same thing happen to me just now. It's 8-29-16. Name was Jennifer, thick accent. Phone number (866) 901-7869. I've had it happen before with a guy. Never answer numbers I don't know and definitely never call back.

    I received a call from 866-694-9547 on 8-29-2016 at 8:00 am from a supposed Sharron or Shannon Green with a very thick Indian accent and very hard to understand. She was supposedly calling me in regards to a legal matters and said if I didn't call back then I need to have my lawyer contact them immediately otherwise I'd suffer jail time. She wanted all of my personal information...full name, date of birth, social security number, etc... Who are these foreign people and how do they keep getting my number????

    Some guy left voicemail saying that ignoring this message will be an additional attempt to avoid an appearance In Front of a magistrate or judge and if he did not hear back from me or my attorney then all he could do was wish me good as the situation unfolds in me. I called back the number and a man, again with an accent, said it was the Dept. Of legal services. I said I wanted to verify who he was and he hung up. 202-866-0501.

    I received a call on 8/30 from a woman with a slight accent stating that she was from the Dept. of Legal affairs and that I should call 866 694 9547 and ask for Kevin Spencer (policeman) in reference to a Legal matter.  I told her that I was not calling anyone and hung up.

    I received a message and call the guy back with an accent at (866) 996-2094.  He told me that it was for tax fraud and a warrant would be issued for my arrest and that he could see that I had never been in trouble, yack, yack, yack.  I asked where he was located and he said New York.  I informed him that IRS said he was a fraud and he hung up.

    Received a call from a guy named Kevin Andrew ... stating that there is a federal lawsuit against me from IRS.  Said he was from Dept of Legal Affairs and that they could take the legal matter and fight for me. But I need to pay them  .....707-271-2546 is the number I received the call from. SCAM!!!!

    I had a call from 863-840-4147 automated message telling me to call back with a code about an IRS lawsuit against me. I called back once the call was so horrible, he could not speak because the form of calling he was using. I told him my first name and told him that was all that he needed and I would confirm any information he got right. Well he hung up, I called back and he answered with "male order services, how may I help you?" I couldn't help but laugh, then he started saying that my friend gave him my number and that's how he got ahold of me. But I have had 2 calls from them today.

    This guy John Sisti keeps calling and leaving me text messages saying I am going to jail he does not say what I owe money for or anything wants me to get iTunes card and scratch off back of it and send him picture of number when I told him that is not a money card he said he had a deal with Apple and they exchange funds I have notified the fraud dept the county clerk  attorney general but nothing changes he has sent me 60 emails plus messages he has a very strong Indian accent

      Hey,  just read your post.  He calls and emails me everyday.  I saved all of the messages.  Same thing, wants itunes cards.   He text from 1 number and calls from different numbers!!

      Scam for sure!

      They're the same numbers i have blocked.   Funny he texted from another number abd said he was in CA for a murder case.  So thats why he had a different number.

    I got a voicemail from "Alfred Anderson" from the Department of Legal Affairs. The man had a thick Nigerian accent. He said for me to have my attorney call him back or I could face serious legal action. He didn't even know their phone number because there was a long pause before he said the last 4 digits. This has SCAM written all over it!

    Same here. Cal from David Smith. Thick accent  same script.   called # and it rang and hung up??  Scam for sure.
