In December we purchased a Husky power washer 1750, Since that time it was used exactly 4 times. It does not work, the on off swith does not work, the GFCI plug does not work.

I have made many attempts via E-Mail to contact this company ,and keep getting answers back from someone named Kyle One e- mail asks me if the fan is turning, another asks me to disconnect the hose then try it. Nothing resolving my problems.

The last E mail I received to day stated the following:" Dear Customer, Thank you for contacting us. i am sorry for the inconvenience with the unit and i hope for the best in the future Please feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions. Sincerely, Kyle

To me this is not a response to fix a problem of a basically new machine. My advise stick with Sears, at least they back up their products.

Bought an H2000 1 week ago Sunday. Used for 5 minutes and pump blew out. Lost all pressure. Immediately took it back. Came home with another one out of the box, 15 minutes and it was smoking and burning up wires. Took that one back and got my money. What a piece of junk. Oddly enough, 2 other ones in the return baskets at Home Depot. They need to reevaluate their relationship with Husky. These things are fire hazards and worthless, should be a recall by Husky.

Get hold of Michael @ Home Depot customer care (posted on this site)..I did & within a few days Homelite shipped me a brand new (and improved machine) at no cost. I also did not have to ship back the original machine. All is good now. Good luck

sounds like the same thing for everyone.  honda makes a great engine and husky make a junk pump.  i have used mine(2600) twice and home depot will send it back for repair, at my coast for shipping.  the pump is 130 bucks, complete unit was 300, now what ?  i guess i could throw it through the front windows of home depot, take a picture, and send it to husky to tell them im on the way to see them to.

I bought a Husky 1650 and it lasted less than 8 times.  Again I should have read the reviews rather than the sale price.  It is a piece of junk.  This company should be ashame of itself for selling inferior products.  Don't buy Husky!!!!!

I also have a powerwasher 1750 purchased from home depot.  Worked fine the first time.  Now I must turn the motor by hand to get it to start.  I have been trying to contact husky to find out what to do to correct the problem but all I have been able to get is the web site with more question then answers.  After seeing the problems listed on this website, I am going to contact Home Depot stockholder service department and try to get  these products taken off the shelf.

I purchased a Husky model HU80833 power washer about 2 years ago.
It has about 10-15 hours on it.  The first couple of times I used it I thought this was the greatest thing since sliced bread.  For cleaning flat surfaces such as sidewalks or driveways, the rotating head with nozzles beats the wand many times over.
While washing the driveway yesterday (after about 2 hours of use)  I noticed a sudden decrease in performance of cleaning.
It decreased quickly to the point where it is not useable. The power to clean is about 1/2 of what it was.

I checked water pressure to the unit.  I checked for kinked hoses, etc.

This unit was not inexpensive.  I do not by inexpensive equipment.  I buy quality equipment and expect it to work and work well and work for a long time.  I purchased this unit because it had a Honda engine and was a Husky brand which I considered to be of high quality.  I did NOT research this on the internet and which I would have.
I've read reports of people having problems with the Honda engine performance.  I have not had any issues with the engine.  It starts reliably every time and runs well.

Can I get this unit returned for a newer model with better reliabillty?

If you are legitimate and Home Depot is concerned about keeping their customer base, then I expect a positive response from you in a short period of time.

Over a year ago I bought a pressure washer from Home depot.  Within about 8 months it started leaking so bad that I couldn't use it.  Ithought that maybe it was a fluke so I got another one.  I have had it less that a year and used it probably 1 times  and  the sprayer hose just broke off from inside and now it is shot.;  I think like the others,   Stop buying china made junk. this stuff wont last and is really crap.  I won't buy anything else made by HUSKY.   and I mean nothing.

I purchased a Husky HU80722 late 2009, used it one time and drained the gas, stored it for the winter. Now with new gasoline in the tank, it will not start. Checked and cleaned the spark plug, took the flexable gas line off, has good flow into the carb. It won't even try to start.???????????

After reading the above complaints about poor workmanship of the product, I believe I've tossed my money down the sewer. Lots of luck to new buyers.
