In December we purchased a Husky power washer 1750, Since that time it was used exactly 4 times. It does not work, the on off swith does not work, the GFCI plug does not work.

I have made many attempts via E-Mail to contact this company ,and keep getting answers back from someone named Kyle One e- mail asks me if the fan is turning, another asks me to disconnect the hose then try it. Nothing resolving my problems.

The last E mail I received to day stated the following:" Dear Customer, Thank you for contacting us. i am sorry for the inconvenience with the unit and i hope for the best in the future Please feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions. Sincerely, Kyle

To me this is not a response to fix a problem of a basically new machine. My advise stick with Sears, at least they back up their products.

Bought a Huksy 2600 psi.  Had it for 3 yrs first year great, 2nd year was a little tough to get good water flow through it but  with a little tampering it worked, then I let it sit for about 6 months.  Went out yesterday to use it and could not get water through it at all.  After spending 3 hours removing, cleaning all parts in the pump it's self I looked up a new pump and decided to go buy a real piece of equipment not another Anchor.  Went with a John Deere this time.  Can't justify spending $160.00 on a pump to just have more problems.  Anyone need the Honda engine and frame for a Husky.  I will admit they did one thing right, thye put a good engine on it, just a shame they didn't match the pump to the engine.  Craigslist here it comes.

I have used my Husky Power Washer 1750 about 6 times over 3 years.  Always a problem getting full pressure.  Now it just quit in the middle of washing my deck.  Nothing seems to work - do the internal electrical components of the GFCI plug go haywire, as I think maybe this is the problem?  Can I just cut the cord and splice on a new GFCI plug?

We bought the Husky Q45 from Home Depot a few years ago and used only a handful of times.  and us too. there is no pressure because where the hose is attached that short medal pipe is cracked causing absolutely no pressure. and no way it can be welded or fixed because of the type of medal it is made of.  so Why cant i find a replacement part for this..  grr....

I too had the same experience as you had with my Husky Power Washer 2000. It crappy design and construction.
Weak plastic part at essential joints. What you cannot expect anything better made in China.

Why are we at the mercy of the Chinese crappy export articles. We used to make better stuff. There is no money saved with something that breaks after a few time use.

We all should finally start boycotting Chinese Imports. They are laughing at us now.

Boycott all companies that get bad manufacturing done in China. Why are we so stupid?

    Are you for real???

I have the feeling, that this is just a robotic response from Husky, because really, they don't care.

I see so many of the same "apology responses" on this site, but customers are not satisfied. So my belief is this so called "apology" is not sincere and just ever so often inserted to give the impression that Husky is actually following the complaints. As far as I am concerned they are not and they are taking us for a ride.
Thanks Husky for manufacturing such crap!!! - We are all mad as hell!!

I have exactly the same problem.

I think there should be a class action suit against Husky and Home Depot. I have heard too much of this by now.

Besides inserting "robot  apology messages" every so often, they really do not care about their customers, this is a fact.

Is it not clear by now that Husky is one of the worst companies around? I never ever buy their crap again, I lost money, time and got a headache from using their crappy goods.

Boycott Husky products made in China!!

Yes the same here. I also have a model 2000, and after only a few uses the handle leaks so badly  (the motor will not stop anymore) it became unusable.

Husky is Bad! A bad company that does not care for its customers. They are laughing at us.

Can we collect names of users of their Power Washer Products, so we can slap them with a suit. They should pay for their incredible rude attitude and lack of customer care, not to speak of manufacturing a pretty lousy machine in the first place. - Who do they think they are?

So now you know what's wrong with this country....

Nobody gives a sh... And nobody wants to manufacture a decent product for a decent price. Money is made by ripping off the common man, the working man. Be it banks or bad manufacturing companies.

I rather pay more and have something made by responsible people who care about the product they make, so I do not have to throw money down the drain.

You are MAD AS HELL, right? and so am I, and so is almost anyone who has posted on this site. So why is nothing happening? Are Husky and Home Depot still laughing at us? You bet they are, because they know, the common American takes crap, over and over, and pays for it too, yes and then votes for those he makes rich!!

Remember to them you are nothing. So stop buying stuff - just stop, let the f...ing economy go to hell. Let the companies go belly  up. We have too much crap anyway - and now China has us in their pocket - because we are so stupid!

I can only say after all the problems I've encounterd with Home Depot's Husky power washers that I've soured on Home Depot enough to switch my purchasing exclusively to Lowes.  If Home Depot is going to sell poor quality crap for good money and wash their hands of any problems or issues they won't get another buck from me.

Customer service for Husky sucks, cut off many times, and when trying to leave a message, there also was not answer.

The 1750 we bought is absolute garbage. Shortly after using this unit the wand started leaking badly. Took it apart and found a cheap plastic tube that cracked. No warranty had to spend 35.00 on a replacement. After that the electrical plug started smoking a blew out.Fixed that myself and worked for a while but now the pump is seized up!I so so tired of spending hard earned money on products that are not worth a crap.Shame on this company for making this product overseas and as cheaply as possible. If I could throw this machine thru the companys window I certainly would!

I received a Husky 1700 as a gift little over a year ago. I uses it twice last year and when I went to power wash my house today it was leaking a lot from the wand. Very annoying. I went to switch wands and when I started it the nozzle tip blew off!! I took it to home depot, where they are generally accommodating, but not today. Husky is a pile of junk as far as I am concerned. Off Lowes I went and will not be returning to Home Depot...by the way, I can't find replacement parts for that model either!!

Same old story...bought 2600 two years ago...worked great for the first season, now its a nice Honda engine on wheels.  It been sitting in Home Depot's repair department for about 5 weeks.  I checked in on them this weekend to see status of repair and was told that the company that they use to repair their units has not picked up anything from them on 2 months!!!  So they have a bunch of units, lawn mowers, etc. awaiting repair.  It would have been nice if they called me.  Oh well, not sure if its worth fixing.

If you live in the North...make sure you store it inside in a warm spot, so your pump doesn't freeze and crack this winter.

I purchased a Pressure washer model# HU80709 and after the first 10 minutes of use the washer shut off and began leaking fuel from somewhere near the filter and primer (sorry I don't know the exact parts but if you're looking at the engine it's the front right section near the below the big red button into the filter casing, soaking the filter.  I can't seem to find the leak and have no manual referring to this area of the engine in detail. This site looks like there have been resolutions to problems so I'm hoping for some help.

I had the same problem.  Check the orange foam fuel filter, Kohler OEM Foam Filter Element / 1408309S.  Mine split and leaked fuel every time I tried to use it.  Finally took the cover off and checked it.  Sure enough, split open. Waiting for the new parts to come in. The OEM parts store has all the Kohler parts for the Husky power washer.

I have the Husky H 2000 bought it on 5/09. The previous Husky I had from Home Depot lasted over 5 years and burned out however I did use it quite often. The new H 2000 I bought three years ago has only been used on cleaning my 30 x 50 fence one side no less, and my 12x12 cement patio twice. Took it out a few weeks ago to do the annual fence cleaning and the wand is leaking like a sieve. After the summer I bring the whole unit in amd put it in my basement so it's not outside in the freezing weather. I love these bi box stores with there gurantees for life and Home Depot leads the pack. Besides switching to Lowes and I had to buy a universial wand for $26.00 because of there excuses.
One other thing I will not buy anymore is Husky products, they use to be good but not anymore they got the CHINA syndrome now there product quality has gone down, no wonder why there product are so cheap these days. Also Home Depot doesnt even carry the Husky Power washer anymore that should tell you something.

In my entire 70 years I have never purchased a more useless product then the Husky Powerwasher 1650.  It does not work. Among the vast Brotherhood of Power Washers out there, I say, avoid this company at any cost. The Husky Product and Service Group is, in my opinion, is non existent.  HUSKY POWER WASHER SERVICE DIVISION: PLEASE PROVE ME WRONG! Look me up: I'm sitting next to my phone. N.
