I purchased a ceiling fan and installed per the manufacturers directions. The fan stopped turning after two months of operation. When I called Hampton's customer service they told me sounded like a capacitor problem. They told me they would mail me the part with instructions on how to repair. The part came with no instructions and when I called back the technical rep displayed the rudest behavior that I have ever encountered. I finally informed him to just mail the instructions and I would figure it out. When I opened the fan to repair the capacitor I witnessed a bubble of grey matter which had oozed out of the capacitor. After a week I'm still waiting for the instructions to arrive in the mail. DON'T BUY HAMPTON BAY FANS!

I purchased a Hampton Bay ceiling fan for outside, you can not feel the fan at all on any speed. Over $100 since it is made for outside. Waste of money.

I have a Hampton Bay Callaway ceiling fan. The problem is that the lights flicker while the fan is running with light switched off by the remote. Any answers?

Bought 3 each 200.00 fans after1 year 3 months at my lake house. ( we go up one time a month for weekend so not much run time) one fan barely moves. So bought a different one for bed room. Installed but was missing parts to hold on sconce called told me it would cost 5 dollars for missing parts. I have dollars. But that's just not right. I took all Hampton bay out of my houses. Stopped shopping home sleepo.
