i asked for and received a free credit report, on line. i never authorized this company to charge my account, yet they have charged my account $9.95 four times in two months. another scam.

    Unfortunately, I too ordered a free credit report and just noticed the charge today.  I've order in the past from other companies and cancelled with no problem.  I didn't check a box to continue any monitoring and tomorrow I'm going to call them and let them know.  I'll even make a police report because this came from my home based business and I don't want to cancel the account. Basically, this is stealing!!!  Tahitian Noni Juice, a funcional natural beverage is my business. If anyone would like information inquire at gsmiley_gwen@yahoo.com.

    The company MNI*creditreport.com also charged my account 24.95 after I was told that I will be recieve a free annual credit report for a trial period of 30 day. However,my account was charged 24.95 the next day after I made the purchaed. There 30 day trial period was evening over. I actually have my bank disputeing the matter right now cause I try called them but was unable to contact them.It keep going to a voicemail. Someone need to let the news know so they can advetise this company with a bad route and let everyone know this is a scam so don't do.

    Just recieved the charges from these thieves. Wish I would have gone to this site earlier! How many folks have called the BBB or the FTC? I'm going to do it and link them to this site.

    I just spoke with a lady at MNI.  I was charged $ 12.95 for 09/2008.  I can have until  09/29/2008 to cancel.  Call them at 1-800-584-1345.  Hope this helps.

    Contact the federal trade commission.  FTC.gov...file a complaint- the same thing happened to me...it takes about 5 minutes to complete- Maybe if we all do this, we can put them out of business!

    The same thing happened to me!  Yesterday I checked my bank statements and found that they have been charging me since July '08.  I remember them because when I set up for the 30 day trial, I wasn't even able to log in to the website.  They were having "Technical difficulties."  It was then that I decided to cancel the membership.  I immediately called them and told them I didn't want the services.  They appologized for the website issues and said they would cancel it.  3 mos later, I have no cancellation number and the rep won't refund my charges without it.  I asked to speak to her sup who, after placing me on hold for 15 mintues, told me there was nothing she could do.  I asked to speak to her superior who was arrogant and rude and told me the same thing.  I told him I would be contacting the FTC and he said, "Great! Have a nice day!"  NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!  REPORT COMPLAINTS TO FTC.GOV....at the top of the page you can file a complaint!  I encourage you all to do this...it takes 5 mintues!

    What these people are doing is completely wrong!  I hope that everyone files a complaint with the FTC and the BBB.  They Charged me the same $12.95 as everyone else.

    Crooks, is the CA Attorney General going to continue allowing this company to keep scamming people.  They charged me 12.95 for four month before I reviewed my statement close enough to asked about the MNI charge.

    I think we really should do something about this.
    Because they're disguising as if they're doing FREE report
    while one has to pay more than $30~45 to get one single report.

    These people are messed up.  They say free report.... Yeah right!!  If you signed up and u cancel in the alloted time...make sure you write down a confirmation number and ask for the represinatives name you talk to.  If not...they will tell you u are lying....after they charge you again when you already called to have it canceled.  I told the woman that they have so many complaints its unreal....she said Wal-Mart and Kroger has all kinds of complaints too.  That makes a lot of sence......DON"T SIGN UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I got the same as you all.  Unauthorized charge.  Mine differs however.  Someone stole my credit card info and SSN - Identity theft and started charging this morn. They checked my credit - I saw this with online banking.  So....called the number posted above-- THANK YOU!  Called the bank and stopped anymore charges.  All resolved.  Now I merely need to track the MF that stole my info and administer paybacks.  Thankfully they only got just over $600.

    I have called them 3 times now. Today I called and they have no record of me asking to cancel my account, but instead they said I have kept calling in with account access questions. I told the guy today that the charges will be gone and the account cancelled today or I am filing charges. He gave me a confirmation code and said it was cancelled. Good Luck!!! This company is run by thieves!

    I fell into this same issue as well.  I had tried the "free" credit reports for my husband and myself at the same time.  I cancelled both immediately, before I could be charged.  The next month, I received 2 $12.95 charges to my bank account.  I called to inquire, and they also told me that I had checked the "credit monitoring" box  I knew that I had not.  I cancelled mine right there over the phone.  They would not allow me to cancel my husband's, even though I knew all of his info, and even though I was the one that started it up in the first place.  My husband was a truck driver at the time and had a very hard time catching them...as their numbers would change frequently.  They would also never take our calls on the weekends.  Anyhoo.....to make a short story long, we called again today, and were in fact able to cancel....but he did have to do it himself.  The working number was 800-720-4420.  Easy to sign up, but very difficult to get out of.  A couple hundred dollars later, time will tell...this time next month, if they have finally stopped charging our account for something they say we signed up for.  Do NOT use this service.....it is hardly a service in my book.

    I also got scammed by these people, call your credit card company and get a new card.  Only way to stop this charge on your card.

    I got the freecreditreport.com for 7-day membership, and i cancelled it right after checking my credit score. Today, I got the 3 different internet companies for each 29.95 and 2 companies for $1,00 totally $91.85.
    So I called them or to cancel and refurd it. 2 compaies accepted to cancel and refund it but 1 company canceled it but said she did not refund it. After I said I would sue the company, she said finally she would refund it.
    I am so worried about credit report companies not ID Theft. Just be careful to credit report companies.
