i asked for and received a free credit report, on line. i never authorized this company to charge my account, yet they have charged my account $9.95 four times in two months. another scam.

    I just found three charges on my credit card for 14.95 to this company all on the same day.  Have NEVER requested any kind of credit report on line and have NEVER used this card for any such purchases.  Called my credit card to report fraud and cancelled the card!  I am worried someone stole my information.  Who steals a credit card number to use for a credit report????

    Their Online address is; MNI*CREDITREPORT.COM. However my Security program warned me NOT to log on with them because it will breach your browsers security and may change your settings. I also got charged starting today (12.95) of which I did not authorize nor did I ever have contact with them. By the complaints I saw using Google and enetreing the above web site, there are several pages of complaints against,MNI*CREDITREPORT.COM. I contacted my bank's credit card department and filed a dispute over the charge and advised them of my Google search and to NOT process any more transactions with ths company. Also if you thingk that it warrants changing your account numbers, do so. Personally I'm trying the DESPUTE method first and keeping my options open.

    Add on from 11C40; I just called 1-866-408-4016 and gave them my information and they stated that I got a free Credit Report a month ago and coupled with that is Crediting Monitoring. That is what we are paying for. I cancelled that service and she gave me a confirmation number. I hope that settles that issue. The money I lost with them is gone! However I still notified my bank not to complete any more transactions with MNI*CREDITREPORT.COM plus I still am disputing that charge.
    That's the scam. They'll supply you with a FREE Credit Report but then they start the monitoring service in small print.

    Just noticed this charge on my statement ($12.95), Googled the company but I'd be "on hold" forever, so I hung up after a few minutes of waiting.   I'll try to stop it at the bank tomorrow.

    On April 2, 2009, you placed an order on our website, creditreport.com, for your Free Credit Report with addition of our Credit Monitoring service that is offered free for seven days. As it states on the home page of the website, and on the second page of the order form, there is a seven day grace period in which to cancel the free trial of the Credit Monitoring. If cancelled within the first seven days, no fees will be charged and the Free Credit Report is available to keep. If a customer wants to continue with our Credit Monitoring Service, they are not obligated to do anything more. They will continue to receive their service for a monthly membership fee, as it states in the terms and conditions that is agreed to when the order is placed. We received your request to cancel the Credit Monitoring Service on July 8, 2009. On that day your request was processed and the account was cancelled. Your confirmation number is 4328675. Due to our cancellation policy and the terms and conditions that you agreed to when placing your order, we are unable to issue a full refund of the charges for this service.     I tried service,got credit score thinking it was FREE. They say that they need to confirm ID by credit card number. 2 weeks later I get a bill from my credit card company for $14.95 I now find out that this is a recurring bill. Called my credit card co. to stop any charges from MNI.This company has been scamming for years,they need to be shut down. As an added bonus Ive noticed more spam in my email.(Think they sold my email address as well)

    Ive just found out that i was charged 14.95 for 2 months this is crazy! I had a hard time trying to find the site..finally i found this one and it scarred me so i called one of the 1800 numbers and immediatly cancelled this who are these people? Also make sure to get a confirmation number when you cancell this whatever this is..talk about a rip off you!!

    I Have three unauthorized charges. Contacted my Visa service to stop any payment charges to my account and charge-back three bogus charges for refund.
    They will persue this as well as issue a fraud report to the Feds.
    These thieves have been operating for 3 yrs plus, have 43 different names and operate in three countries. PH# is 866-883-3309 their IP address currently 65.19.128.133 and you can find more info @ Sitedossier.com There will be a class action suite soon to get these [***] and close them down but they will come back under a different name. If you are willing to take a stand against these predators it's up to you. Find them, report them and destroy them. Class-action them to death. Turn this into an entertainment project and follow them till they perish. I'll do my part but I'm only one person... it's going to take a lot of us but I do believe, If you're are willing, it can be turned around and they will fear us.

    how do you deal with something like this when nobody listens!  Its so frustrating.  I just noticed charges going back a year and Im on the line with them and nobody will help me!  And they are quite reluctant to return any money.  Apparently they are connecting me to the fraud department, for sure this wont go anywhere!

    Its a lost cause, they have people on the line using fancy words and telling you anything they can to NOT give your your money back.  I just canceled cause i realize they will NOT be returning any of my money.  Good luck.

    I am being charged 14.95 2 times a month. I had a free credit report and have had money taken out of my account ever since. I need this stopped. this has to be a scam. I did  write down a few phone numbers and will try to get it stopped.

    I did call once before after I saw the charge on my bill. They stopped it for a couple months and here it is again.
    This is really  a scam.

    I also have had this happen to me.  I went to FreeCreditReport.com for a free credit report.  You automaticall get enrolled in their Triple Advantage for 14.95 a month, but have 7 days to cancel.  I tried to log back in to Free Credit Report.com to cancel and the information I had to log back in was invalid.  I was confused.  After hunting down the charges when it came in on my credit card, I called customer service at FreeCredit Report.com and they referred me to Triple Advantage who also had no record of me.  They refered me to 1-866-408-4016 which is the number to MNI*Creditreport Services.  They refused a refund but did cancel my account and gave me a confirmation number which I have taken to my bank and informed them of the situation.  My bank did not charge me the STOP PAYMENT fee, but did put a note in my account that they are not to authorize any future payments to them.  Hope this helps.

    MNI*Credit report does not my account information on file, but I have been charged $14.95 from them. I spoke to their representative and asked him to cancel my so called membership and requested politely for a refund. He says my credit monitoring will be stopped but I will be charged for no service. Biggest scam artists.

    I just called MNI creditreport and they canceled my acct with no problems. well see if it translates .  866 408 4016
