1800SkyRide is a telemarketing fraud. They sell trips and sporting events that do not exist. The company operates under different names:

1800Skyride
Adventure Skydiving Center
Adventure Sports
Luxergy
IGO Vincent
Spagoda
Tandora
Granter Media
Thrill Planet
Soaring Sports
Hot Air Balloon Team

The address of the company:
2593 Kennesaw Due West Rd Ste 300
Kennesaw, Ga 30144

They refuse to give refunds to customers, there are hundreds of unresolved complaints with BBB. Stay away from this company. When a customer wants a refund because most of the time they were sold something that did not exist or was given false information on locations, they refuse to give it and offer a different activity which again is either a fraud or hundreds of miles away from the client.

I've launched complaints with BBB, FTC, and The Attorney General. If you are reading this because you paid this company money and want it back, send your complaint to the above places as well. I hope we can beat this company if we do it together.

Last Christmas (2010) I purchased two skydiving vouchers through LivingSocial.  Wanting to add to the fun, I called the skydiving company and stated I wanted to purchase two videos as well.  They referred me to 1800SkyRide.  Fast forward a year and a half and 4 skydive cancellations later (due to weather, legit horrible weather, but very few dates to reschedule due to over booking) we finally were able to dive this past weekend.  We arrived with our skydive and video vouchers only to be informed that Skydive Philadelphia no longer is affiliated with 1800SkyRide and our video vouchers were worthless.  Since that point, I have tried numerous occasions (at least 10) to contact 1800SkyRide to try to figure out what I can possibly do with these useless $200 video vouchers.  Every time I call, I am on hold for 20 minutes (extreme patience on my part) and then an answering machine picks up and I leave a message.  Not even an angry message demanding money back, for all they know I could simply just want to redeem a voucher!  The only time I have managed to get someone on the phone is when I press "1" for new customer.  Seems like they only have enough staff to cover new customers, those that have not had their money swindled away.  The customers who have paid don't seem to be worth their time.  I feel extremely slightly and ripped off by this company.  They sold me a service that does not exist and they have made it impossible for me to contact them.  I've attempted to contact my credit card company but a charge reversal doesn't seem likely as the charge was made 18 months ago (voucher still valid!) and usually disputes must be placed within 60 days.  If only I had bothered to research this company at all... I would have seen the plethora of complaints against them and would have stayed away!

I have exactly the same complaint as Sharon A. Purchased my livingsocial for Skydive Philadelphia in Feb 2011. Purchased my video through Sportations (then referred to as "sportations") in Aug 2011 and paid $95 for it. My jump got rescheduled 4 times due to legit weather problems. Finally ended up jumping this past Saturday. When I went to Skydive Philadelphia, they told me that they do not do business with 1800SkyRide anymore, and won't be able to honor my video purchase. Upon calling 1800SkyRide, the rude lady told me that all purchases are somehow non-refundable. If I ended up purchasing video through Skydive Philadelphia, and faxed them the receipt, they may be able to send it to upper management for consideration of my refund. I just called the Original Sportations that I purchased video to ask for my refund, and they gave me bs stories of how the company has been split, and referred me back to 1800SkyRide. Luckily, I have purchase protection from Chase. I just called them, and they are going to re-issue my $95 for services not received. If you have purchased anything from Sportations, Adventure Sports OR 1800SkyRide recently, please call your credit card company for a refund ASAP. They are a bunch of scammers. STAY AWAY. BBB won't be able to get your money back. Neither will you be able to file a lawsuit, since it will become way more of a hassle for the few hundred dollars you spent.

I believe companies like Groupon and LivingSocial should be sued for selling products/services originating from such Fraudulent companies. People tend to think that just because it is being sold by Groupon or LivingSocial, they will get legit services. Which is so not true. They falsely market the products, and put up a wrong picture of the product/services.

I have been fighting this company since 2002.  I got a gift certificate that was good for two years.  My son works full time and everytime he was able to make an appointment, it was cancelled due to weather or wind.  Sometimes he had to cancel because of work.  The place that they sent us was two hours away.  The certificate finally expired and I was told by the place that would have used it to just asked for it to be renewed.  I called and ask them to renew it.  I even told them that since the price might have gone up since then, I would pay extra to get it renewed.  The answer is NO NO NO.  I wrote to the BBB and was told that they also had gotten a NO.  What is with these people that they think they can just keep 350.00 of someones money and not give the service or a refund?   I do not even know how to get a class action law suit agains these people.  IF I DO....IS ANYONE ELSE IN?

My lawyer just confirmed that this company was owned by Lilliam Dejesus of 304 Trotter Way Dallas, Ga. 30132. The other posts here to the contrary are likely meant to confuse those that have been scammed by Lilliam Dejesus and her partner Fred Burke. I now have a judgment against her and Fred and am looking for information about where they have a bank account. My lawyer also obtained her latest phone number and verified it today.

Call her at 770-265-7334 and you can verify this for yourself.

I too have been ripped off for two $500 balloon rides and would join a class action lawsuit.  It just baffles me how these people can stay in business for years taking money from people that actually earn it and no one prosecutes them.
