Complaint

Country: United States
I am not sure that this is the name of the company because it is very difficult to understand the name of the company. This company has called me 2 times and left 15 minutes of messages on my answering machine. He repeats his name (which I cannot understand) and his phone number over and over again for 15 minutes.........I called them back the first time approximately a month ago and told him do not call again, and today I received the same 15 minute message. He is not calling for me, but and I am not going to put up with the harassment. The phone number that he give to call back is 1-800 -335-0872. I DO NOT WANT ANYMORE COLLECTION CALLS. I HAVE GOOD CREDIT AND I DO NOT CARE WHO HE IS CALLING FOR HE HAS NO RIGHT TO CONTINUE TO CALL AND HARASS ME! Please let me know what else I can do to get him to stop!

If you paid your bills, there would be no message board, no complaints, no problem. I am doing my job and you should do yours. Pay Your Bills.

Notify them in writing to cease calling your, mail it certified so you have proof of receipt.
If they continue to harass you, sue them.
to find a consumer attorney in your state, you might try www.naca.net

Well the reason your getting calls is because your addr is listed on your daughter credit report. So it's not the collection company fault your getting calls. It's your daughter for not updating her info.

This is sheer ignorance on your part.  I can't tell you how I was harrassed by one collection agency.  And when I asked them to please provide proof of the debt, they told me they would just mark in my file that I refused to pay due to an invoicing dispute.

At that point I checked my credit report and found they reported to all 3 credit agencies.  I had each agency conduct an investigation and all 3 deleted the account from my reports as unsubstantiated.

Just because some [***] like you is calling and doing A job (not even necessarily legally) doesn't mean anyone owes a penny.

does nt mean that you dont owe the bal either just mean tht the creditor did nt bother to repsnd to your dispte so being tht they did nt respnd the credit agencies took it off because the client didnt fight it. does nt mean you dont owe just they didnt have time to fight it

i am all for paying off a debt (that an ex told me he would take care of and never did) my concern is the legitimateness of the person that just called me. the debt amount was correct.. and he knew my info (along with my ex fiancé's, and his new fiancé's) i looked up the company before giving any personal info but still, its hard trusting someone with your credit card information

To TheBillCollector - "Pay your bill", "Do your job".  Most times you morones pursue people who do pay their bills and credit cards.  And it's been my experience that the majority of you do not have a HS education and not able to find a "real job".  Best that you not post ignorant comments on the sites like this.  You are not doing the good collectors justice.

That so typical of people who think like you most of the people tht wrk at my company do have College degrees and most of them more than likely make more money than you a month. but the funny thing is how can a persn who is on a debt collection forum make a statement like that when you cnt pay ur bills do you have a degree if so u nt putting it to good use.

Send them a letter, certified return receipt requested, notifying them that <whatever name> does not live at <your address>, and cannot be reached at <your phone number>.  Notify them that they are to cease communications with your address and phone number, as required by FDCPA.

If they continue harassing you, file complaints with FTC, your state Attorney General, and their state Attorney General.  If it keeps up, you can sue them in your local state or federal court, for violations of FDCPA or TCPA.

And, no, you have no obligation to act as a message deliverer for debt collectors, not even once.  You don't owe them anything.

I am confused there myeyeonyou....When calling some ignorant please use proper spelling when you claim we have no education.....You would be shocked at what some of "US" top collectors make and how many of us have COLLEGE DEGREES. The truth of the matter is in this economy a starting perons with a bachelors degree in business management coming out of college makes SIGNIFICANTLY less then someone with multiple years of experience!!!! THE WORD MORONS IS SPELLED THAT WAY NO E HOSS......And the simple fact is if you pay your bills then you will never have to worry about it.....When I speak to debtors and am told that CABLE is a necessity in these times then you take your own chance at getting sued and just a little tip....With the new rgulations that will be coming down on the lending practices you might really want to care about your credit SOON!!!! And one more thing for you debtors teaching your children how to LIE ON THE PHONE and teaching them TO AVOID THEIR DEBTS you are PATHETIC!!!!!

I paid my account to my knowledge and the collecter is threatening me with late fees and penalties on a dead account.  The woman gave me two names and kept threatening me with going to court if I couldn't pay her something today.  Why do I even have to pay for late fees and penalites if I had closed the account?  And why is she still calling me after I told her to not call me since these calls were only harassment?

I got a call from them today. I do not know how in the world they got my number. Person they called for does not reside in my home and never has. They are rude. The two people I spoke to are: Kayla Lawson and Iler Owen (probably not their real names). I would love to file a harassment suit against this so called "MRS Associates Inc."

    [***] off
You are a bottom feeder, making a living off the people who can't pay their bills, whatever you say has no merit! There is a proper way to treat people, even the uneducated who where never taught how to manage money, and are taken advantage by the so called educated who feed on the ignorance of these people.

Then there are people who just fall on hard times!
So [***] off! Is this speleed properly!

    AM SORRY
BUT I WORK FOR THE COMPANY AND I'M NOT LIKE THAT I LOVE TO HELP PEOPLE.BUT IT'S IS HARD WORK THAT SOME PEOPLE DO LIE.I WILL NOT AND CAN NOT. I JUST WANT TO FEED MY FAMILY. I DO KNOW WHAT IT IS TO NOT HAVE A JOB OR NOT BE ABLE TO PAY A BILLS BUT ,I WOULD NOT TALK TO PEOPLE THE WAY SOME OF YOU DO . YOU NEED TO UNDERSTAND THAT WE DID NOT MAKE THE DEBT YOU DID. FIX YOUR MESS UP AND IF YOU CAN NOT THEN WORK IT OUT WITH THE COLLECTOR AND STOP LYING TO YOURSELF.BUT I WILL SAID THIS AM NOT A COLLECTOR WHO MADES THE BIG BUCKS,BECAUSE I CARE ABOUT THE LITTLE PEOPLE BECASUE IAM ONE. GOD BLESS YOU ALL THAT READ THIS

Many of the complaints here have nothing to do with "making a debt".

You are CALLING THE WRONG PEOPLE, and you don't stop when they tell you that.

Furthermore, you call so many times a day your calls are abusive.  That is illegal.

There are no excuses for that.

Haven't you ever fallen on hard times? It must be nice to have all that money from harrassing people that don't have control over some things in their life, especially when it comes to the economy. Get a life. Some of these people aren't even responsible for the debt that is trying to be collected.
