I am getting sick of the so-called american named, such as Mark Williams and Mike George, with thick
accents from the lovely middle east, that should be completely wiped out and turned into Disneyland
with a free barrel of oil when your headed back to the States after your stay, calling me!
   What kind of country are we where in todays technology that we cant catch these foreigners, who are
probably being paid by red blooded Americans? The SHAME!!!  Im just tired of arguing with these losers
and they knowing way too much information about me!
   Like I'm going to believe some habeeb from some trumped up law firm from L.A. was hired by some
legitimate American company to pursue me and collect a debt for which I DO NOT OWE!! LAUGHABLE yet I want break someones neck if we could ever catch these lazy out of towners who wont earn a real
living!

    These people has been calling me for a couple of days. When i try to call them back voicemail is full. I finally got someone on the phone saying i was going to jail. They also asked about my lawers information when i told them i had talked to the FBI they hung up on me.

    I to received a phone call from an Indian man saying that I'm I n big trouble. He asked if I had a lawyer and wanted to know information. I would not give him any information and he goths and said I need to call michelle brown immediately at223 283-8557.  Then he said call now a Sheriff is coming to your house in 2 hours I called the number cause I wAnt to see who this michelle brown is and got a voicebox that's full.want to know how these [***] got my information

    I just received a call from "Daniel Thompson"  at 866-428-8102, who spoke little to no English.  He told me that there is a case against my social security number and I needed to call "Alex Watson" ASAP.  I asked him where and how he got my SS number, and he said "cuz there is a case against it."  He told me to call "Alex" at 707-508-4204 right now.  I told him I wasn't calling anyone and that their calls are harassing to me at work.  I hung up and the 866 number called back less than a minute later.  I told them that they are harassing me and he said you owe money and we need it NOW.  I asked how much.  He said I needed to call 707-508-4204 to find out, and that my time is running out.  I called the number just to see where it took me, and it said it was not an authorized number.  But when I hung up, that number called me right back.  What a bunch of pathetic a**holes sitting behind a desk trying to defraud people all day.  This has got to STOP!

    I just got a call from a Justin Johnson with a thick accent and said I hAd a case against my social security number. I asked him the case number and he said he can't give me that information. I said sir you are aware that if there is a case against me you are legally suppose to give me the case number and the company that has a case against me. He told me to call michell brown at 213-261-6494 which was the same freaking number he called me from. This is ridulous because I said I was going to the police and he said go ahead I would be arrested tomorrow and I was wasting his time asking all these questions.

      He doesn't care about any police, he's calling from India, and he knows no one will do anything to him.

      It's just a scam.  Ignore him.

    i just got a call from them and they tried the same thing with me why are they doing this i sincerley thought i was in trouble until i seen that theres millions of people that had the same thing happen

    Help!!!!!  These people called saying they were issuing a warrant for my arrest......i actually paid them!  What can I do???  Please help!!!

      Don't pay them ANYTHING! They're fraudulent - NO ONE can file an action - legal or otherwise, against a social security number. Only against an individual.

      If you paid money, call the Police ASAP.  They won't give those who didn't loose any money the time of day, but someone who has been swindled can make a complaint.

      My caller was female, and said to call Annie Johnson at 909-999-0176 or there would be an "enforcement action".

    I just got a call about a half hour ago from a man who couldnt speak good english and said i owe money for an online cash advance i took out and if i didint pay it i would go to jail i told him i didint get no advance from anyone since im already retired and have plenty of money to live on and he said well your going to jail if you dont pay i said oh well not like the first time lol and he said you wont be hearing anymore about this case the cops will be comming for you i said find im on my pourch with a cold beer tell'em i will be drunk and ready in 2 hours lol come get me lol he hung up

    Well I'm glad to see I'm not the only who is getting these calls. I just had someone call me from the number 707-508-4202 telling me I needed to have my attorney contact them, they couldn't speak to me about the case, and that they were sending paper work somewhere and I would be fired from my job and arrested by tomorrow afternoon and would have to pay $16,000 for a loan that was $200! Half the information I couldn't even understand because of the heavy accent! Just glad to hear that I'm nbot the only one going through this. I am, however sorry that any of us have to deal with this!

      i just received s call from the number 415-484-6151 asking for me and they stated that there is a lawsuit out on me from a payday loan place which wait i hae never had a payday loan in my life. then the person said that the sheriffs department in my county which i live will be delivering me paper work and they hung up in my face so i called the number back and ask for the supervisor and i spoke with her and she stated that i should be perpared to be arrrested in my county by 11am tomarrow morning and she hung up. this has happened to me before and let me tell you i do what is needed to be done call my county ask about the papers to be ddelivered and check to see if i got a warrent and poof it comes out a big fat ass lie. so sick of the bs that people try and pull it is sick get a life for real ......

    I just received ANOTHER phone call from 760-269-4176 from a man with thick middle eastern accent saying his name is Percy Jackson from Dept of Legal Affairs and Investigation.  I could barely understand what he was saying, however, I cut him short saying whatever issue he has to send it in writing and hung up.  I have not received any phone calls since then.  This is clearly a SCAM and I feel sorry for some of you who fell into their trap when they threatened they have a warrant.  Before anything legal can be done to any person, it must be in writing!!!

    I got a call from this number 760-269-4176 said his name was Chris Jones had a middle east accent and said theres a lawsuit in my name  to my social security number that i needed to give him my lawyers number and I said i had no knowledge of a lawsuit and he said it was from a Michael Carter. His attorney he is handleing the case. he couldn't give me  any information because he was a parralegal. This Guy even called at my job,I am going to sue the crap out of these fakes somehow,cause I don't owe anyone and this is not right. I call the number he gave me to give him a piece of my mind and the phone has a busy signal.

      Most effective response is to harass them back by phone until they get the message.

      i had a similar phone call 7/17/2012 also to call and ask for Michael Carter. The number they gave me was 760-440-5421. I looked it up on the internet and realized it was a scam. I also notified the television people of this

    I just received a call from a man with a deep middle eastern accent said that his name was Byran Raymond and my husband had a lawsuit against his SSN pending from 2005. I asked him about what and whatever it is I am sure that the statue of limitations has kicked in and he couldn't give any information about with what company it was from. All he said was he was with the Department of Legal Affairs & Investigations in California. So I googled it while I was on the phone with and realized that it was a collection agency. I asked him for a fax # so I could send a letter of cease and desist and he couldn't give me one, I asked to speak to his supervisor and he said that I would have to call 760-440-5421 to speak to his Legal Attorney's because he was nothing more than a paralegal. I told him if he calls my house again I will have my attorney's contact them. He then said that he will be contacting the sheriff and my husband will be arrested. I told him I will be home all day waiting for them to come and knock on the door!!!

    If it was "pending from 2005", any court would have dismissed it long ago due to inactivity.

    None of them are "paralegals" or "attorneys.

      Hello I had the same situation happen to me today, and they told me I had a Criminal lawsuit against me for a loan I didn't pay back, They did give me the name of the company but couldn't give me any other information, they said the police were gonna pick me up at my job, but the thing is the job they gave me was my fiance's job, I don't work. I am nervous and he told me his name was Alex Watson. He told me I would be spending 6 months in jail if I didn't come up with the money. He also told me he was from Department and Legal Investigations. I was wondering if the cops did come get your husband or is it just a scare tactic, trying to get money.
